Two faces

"I can't and I won't, why are you siding with him are you two items?" He asked angrily.

"What do you mean?" She frowns.

"I'm just trying to protect you." Ben said.

"Well you are overprotective!" She exclaimed.

They went silent for a while. "I'm sorry for being overprotective, but as long as you're in a relationship with me, I won't stop protecting you."

"God, you're something else." She snarled.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"Besides, what happened?" She asked.

"Buckle your seat belt." He tries to change the subject.

"I don't want a safety lesson, I want an answer." She yelled.

"The answer is.. would you shut the fuck up and let me concentrate!" He yelled.

By the time he looked at the road, an antelope jumped out of the bush and to the road. He rolled the steering to the left completely. The car speed left and entered the bush. By the time he wanted to press the brake the car crashed into an oak big tree making it stop.

The air balloon comes out of the front car, blocking them from hitting their head on the wheel screen. They were panting hard.

Ben looked at Kim. "Are you okay?"

She nodded her head.

They both got down to check the car, the front boot had squeezed as a swirl came out.

Ben bit his lower lips and started to walk beside the road, leaving Kim.

"Wait for me." She ran to catch up with him and hold his hand. He removed his hand from her.

"Don't touch me."

"I'm sorry." She said innocently.

"If you're sorry, go there and fix the damage or back me to where we're going."

Kim rushed to his front. "I'm sorry, please."

Ben gave her a disgusting look and shoved her to one side to continue his walk.

He took out his phone and called his driver. "Hello Sam, are you home? I want you to take one of the cars and meet me at…." He looked around and saw a signpost. "At the top of the hillside. I have a small accident but I'll call the insurance company. Thank you." He hung up and signed. He narrowed his eyes and saw a coffee shop. "Let go and wait for him there."

They walked into the coffee shop. "Give me americanos, please," Ben said to the woman on the counter.

"I want a milkshake." Kim blurted out.

They settled beside a transparent glass so that he could see Sam when he arrived.

Kim sighed when sheer bliss at the first taste. When she glanced back at him, she found him staring at her, then her mouth. "What?" She asked, fatigued.

He pointed with one long, elegant finger, at her upper lip.

She swept the tip of her tongue past it, tasting sweet silky remnants. "Did I get it?"

He groaned and looked away.

"Hey," Kim called.

"You don't have any idea what you're doing to me do you?" He asked.

She blinked up at him, noting the odd little catch in his smooth-as-silk voice, the way his mouth stretched into a tight line, and the blast of heat in his eyes. "I don't.."

"There's no way a woman in this day and age could be this innocent. No damn way!" Ben said.

Finally, Sam arrived with another car. Ben and Kim stuffed inside it and drove to one of the most expensive hotels in the city. They lodged into president suites.

"Why are we here?" Kim asked. "We left the house and came and slept in the hotel?"

"This is where you would be staying, for now, till I find solutions to the conflicts. I want you to trust me, someone is out there that wants to hurt you, don't ask questions just do as I say." He said.

"But why?" She was curious as to why someone would want to hurt her.

"I just said you shouldn't ask questions." There's a low strain in his voice.

"Sorry." Kim said.

Ben was standing outside the balcony that night smoking cigarettes and looking at the beautiful night view of the city. He glanced back and saw Kim on the bed. He puffed the smoke out into the air.

He felt something, Kim hugged him from the back, She wrapped her arms around him.

"Can't sleep?" He asked.

"Yes." She responded.

"Will you sleep if I cuddle you?" He inquired.

"Don't cuddle me." She said.

"Why? Are you afraid we're going to have sex?" He turned to look at her.

"It's been a long time since you touched me." She looked down and poured out her lip.

"Do you want us to have sex? I can't do that without your permission." He said with a bare hint of a smile on his handsome face.

"There's nothing between me and that guy." Kim blurted out.

"I know." He said.

"He was just trying to be friendly. But there's something strange about him, he always knows whenever I'm out or indoors." She explained.

Ben's face turned serious. "What do you mean?"

"Like, he does know the time I'm going out or coming back. And there is a tattoo on his wrist."

Ben held Kim's arms and pulled her a little from him. "Which tattoo?" He asked.

"Like a butterfly tattoo." She said,

Ben's emotions crumbled.

Meanwhile, Axel was rubbing his swelling face with an ice bag in front of the mirror Inside his toilet. His phone rang out. He picked it up from the cabinet.

"Hello." He said with a husky voice.

"How is it?" A voice asked.

"He is a tough guy." He replied.

"I told you he's not an easy cake, he was once in the military."

"They left, I don't know where they are but I'll find out soon.

" All we need is that woman, she is Ben's weakness. And would lead us to him." Axel explained.

"We don't have time, send the boys to kill them both and bring the flash to me!" He yelled.

"Okay, boss. I'll park out of the building now."
