The Collective: Golem Divinity

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to grow in divinity? All while everyone else seems to think you are way stronger than you actually are? Well that's what Mark has to deal with when it comes to their new found life surrounded by any and every mythology there is. Oh, and there is of course their current employer, that hopes to have them in an eventual high position of their newly restructured Omniversal company. Also the fact that they didn't have much of a choice in the matter, not that they didn't want to though. _______________________________________________________________________ Discord server: https://discord.gg/vFb9ZcajzY

Out Of Character

Present Day

Mark

Turns out that I kinda blacked out for a bit at that moment. Whatever happened though, caused my children, and the rest of my golems to work on overdrive like their life depended on it. Jane and Jess stuck to me like glue, not that I minded it, but I felt like it was a bit much. Sure, the thought of what happened to the fae does cause me to feel pure rage, but I managed to rein it in. Mostly.

I changed back to my feminine form since it felt more comfortable to me strangely enough. My emotions are more stable like this, and I can focus a bit better. The fae were still an ongoing operation at the moment. I left things to be handled by Sebastian and his subordinates. They worked together with Viviane's knowledge to round up Fae in hiding and guide them here. A small village was in the middle of being built for them, not far from my home base.

For now, the majority of the newly moved in fae were assigned work by Jess and Jane since a good amount of them tend to be well versed in a variety of work. For example, a good amount of them were very familiar with blacksmithing, leatherwork, and more. While their king may not be alive anymore, his teachings lived on through them. Viviane herself decided to forge a weapon for Sebastian as thanks for saving her.

The girl seemed to not let go of that budding crush she had for him. At least she didn't let the feelings she felt from being saved, guide her to how she currently felt. It did trigger it of course, but she decided to get to know my son better first. If she wasn't in the new forge that was built for the fae, then she would stick by Sebastian's side, watching him work, or ask him 21 questions.

It was cute in a way to see my sons get into relationships. My daughters however, were a different story. Outside of Kinami, who already handled most of Yasaka's current issues quite well. Circi and Levi would probably take a while in that department. Levi might as well be like how Serafall was when she started her 'magical girl' phase. Just a giant bundle of energy, happiness, and battle lust. Whoever she decided to sink her teeth into, I hope they can handle her.

Circi though, the girl needed to take a break from her research and magical studies. She already learned a vast majority of what Frigga could teach her, and the only things she was learning about the Norse now, was directly from their forbidden library. That, and her obsession with wanting to create sacred gears and figure out how growth weapons work. If she was a pervert, I would say she was a female version of Azazel, but she might as well have been as cold as Grayfia.

Hopefully when she finally enacts her plans for the Fallen, something will happen. That's a big if though. Sometimes I have to force the girl to come to the hotsprings we have with me just to get her to relax. Coming from me, that says a lot. Granted I spend most of my time multi-tasking on research, magical or otherwise, and playing video games at the same time. However, since I have so much time, and so many plans that would take decades, I could afford to relax.

This was the benefit of having hundreds of years before the biggest events really got started. Outside of The Great War of course. Speaking of which, I have mostly been hands off with it, my only interactions being, observing Mishala of the fallen, taking some crystals from the devils, and Sebastian working on rescuing the fae from the church. Everything was slow work, but interesting nonetheless.

Mishala was an interesting Fallen. She kept to herself for the most part. She had green hair strangely enough, purple eyes, her breasts weren't flat, but they weren't much to show off, and her ass was thick with three c's. She had thighs for days too, and was around Levi's height. The thing about her was she could utilize shadow magic strangely enough. On top of her normal light magic, it's what allows her to have such an advantage whenever she spars with those that Azazel has training her.

My rabbit also decided to show itself to her, and her reaction was pretty lacking, all things considered. Although Azazel seems to think that I blessed the girl. That in itself wasn't possible for me right now, but I wasn't going to correct him since it was funny to watch him scramble, as she could actively see the rabbit.

Azazel

There is no possible way that Mishala should have grown this powerful, this quickly. Our power should still be restrained by Father themselves. Her growth was almost a middle finger to that fact, until I realized that she could see the rabbit.

"Mishala, are you able to see what is currently sitting in your lap right now?"

"Yes General Azazel, although I am unsure as to what this rabbit could be?" That's right, she is one of the younger fallen, so it makes sense as to why she may not know. Although I'm sure she has at least heard rumors of what's behind it.

"That rabbit is one of the extensions of The Overseer, Sebastian. Son of The Golem Goddess, and the one she sees through. That rabbit has been watching you for a long time now. Ever since I have taken you under my care." She turned somewhat pale, and looked at the rabbit nervously. It was funny to see. I would have reacted the same if I was in her position.

"If that's the case, then does that mean that The goddess has been watching us this whole time?" I laughed at her when her face turned red. She must think that they were watching her when she was taking a bath. While a lot of gods and goddesses were pretty voyeuristic, this one wasn't. At least, not nearly as much.

"Not at your most intimate times, no. I'm certain that they have much bigger things to worry about than peeping on you while you change, or clean yourself." She stuttered and shook a bit. The rabbit just hopped onto the floor and looked at us.

"Trust me, I believe they were watching you in particular for a different reason entirely. I had suspicions that Father's restrictions on our growth were loosening. While I'm sure that that is possible, it seems like your growth can be attributed to being blessed." She paused, stared at me, and her face went through a flurry of emotions. Before she finally settled on surprise.

"But why? Why me? Why not any other fallen? Or any other person of any other species for that matter? What makes me so special?"

"To be honest, I am still trying to figure that out myself. I have been doing a lot of research on the behavior of this rabbit here. While it may be an extension of the goddess and Sebastian. It can still think for itself, and has a soul like us. As to what the blessing itself does? Perhaps your shadow affinity has something to do with it, but that would make me think you weren't blessed by the goddess, but one of her children. We will figure it out with time, I'm sure.

For now though, I need to get back to my office. The war may not have escalated much, but who knows what is on the horizon. Also, no you will not be joining this war, regardless of how long it may take. If you were hurt, or died while having their attention, then any hope of contact with them may be lost." She pouted when I made that last statement. I just ruffled her hair a bit, and teleported back to my office. The mountain of paperwork did not ease my tension though.

Retzio

My time in Asgard has been enjoyable and interesting to put it lightly. Loki has been nothing but a pleasure to have around since I met her. That's not including our time spent together every night. And I do mean every night. The woman was insatiable, then again, so was I. Perhaps I got that from my mother.

Outside of that, my studies under Frigga have been going well. Of course I wasn't like my older sister Circi, who blew threw each thing she taught and caught on almost instantly. I moved at a more moderate pace, if moderate were to compare to my siblings instead of Frigga's past students. Loki was pretty jealous when I was able to one up her in illusions. It reignited her passion for magic, and Frigga was eternally thankful to me for it.

The more, entertaining part of my stay here was meeting Thor. He was as much of a partygoer as he was a battle-crazed maniac. Our first meeting was crazy enough.

A Few Months Ago

Loki and I were out eating dinner at one of the few places of Asgard that had a better variety of food.

"Ya know Retzio. I'm surprised my muscle-headed brother hasn't barged in to introduce himself yet." She was munching on a large piece of mutton when she mentioned her brother. I have yet to meet him, but he has been out and about the nine realms on an adventure apparently.

"Well, I'm sure that his adventure has been keeping him busy. Whatever he is doing, must be providing him with plenty of fun to keep him entertained." Loki decided that this was the best time to smirk at me. I did not take that as a good sign.

"I would love to see you take him down a peg or two. He isn't arrogant per say, but just lacks variety. His main method of fighting is just 'hit it till it goes down'" Before I could give a response to what she said. The front door of the place was barged open with such force, that if it weren't magically reinforced, it would have been destroyed. Yet it still had cracks by the time I saw him.

"Speak his name and he shall appear." Loki's smirk refused to be lost as she moved to my side of the table and decided that now was the best time to sit in my lap.

"Retzio! I have come here to challenge you to a due…" For all the boisterousness that the man had, he actually managed to get caught off guard when he saw us.

"Ahem. I do apologize for interrupting your time of courting. When you are free, I would like to duel with you and test each other's limits." For all that I heard about him, I was not expecting him to genuinely be regretful to interrupt us. Even Loki was surprised.

"Am I seeing things, or is my brother who would charge at walls, and cause the craziest of bar fights, actually not wanting to interrupt me right now?" She rubbed her eyes and pinched me. I assume it was to make sure she wasn't dreaming, although I wasn't sure why she had to pinch me.

"Now, now Loki. Let's give the man a chance to explain himself. While I am glad you decided not to stop my date with Loki entirely, I would like to ask why the out of character treatment?" As I questioned Thor, he decided now was a good time to take a seat across from us. Along with a surprise guest of Freyja sitting next to him.
