Chapter 10

Temisa is in her father's mansion as their home is a standard duplex in a government owned estate, as her father bought the duplex as a new house.

"Father, have you submitted my CV and letter of application to the new boss?" Temisa ask her father, as he just step into the living room and she sit on the couch filing and brushing her long nails.

Mr John stare to his daughter as instead of Temisa to stand up and welcome him, she rather sit comfortably on the couch filing her long nails and asking him question like he's her errand boy.

"Temisa, you're quite unbelievable, not even a welcome greeting from you to your father?" Mr John ask, as he drop his briefcase on the living-room center table and slowly loosen his neck tie.

"Am sorry father, Good evening father, welcome" Temisa says as she drops her leg down from the couch were she previously rested it and relax filing her long nails.

"Where's your mother?" Mr John ask her, and Temisa respond, "Went to the market to refill the house with food stuffs father."

"And your elder brother?."

"Father!, Am not their keeper and I don't know where Martin went too either, as I didn't ask him about it."

"Hmmm" Mr John sigh.

"Is okay" Mr John made his way to walk back to his room downstairs as the top floor, his children uses the rooms alongside his wife and just then Temisa ask him, "Father, you haven't said anything yet about the letter I submitted to your company today?."

Mr John pause and stare back to Temisa and he responds, "Temisa, You should know that the company have people in charge in managing affairs that are of new applicants. I don't know and I didn't even got to see the new boss either."

"What do you mean by that father?. Weren't you the one whom told me that the CEO personally requested of you to bring my CV to see if I can be enrolled to get along with his son?." Temisa asks.

Mr John shake his head as he meet Temisa's gaze and he replies, "Am tired right now Temisa. Allow me to rest, and besides you said you're not interested in working with the BENSON GROUP, How come you now suddenly changed your mind?. Don't tell me you're already tripping for the new CEO you haven't even meet?."

"Father! How can you even think of me as such?" Temisa frown as she chew her bubble gums in her mouth, and her eyes narrow at her father angrily.

"Do I know, What if you have seen the photos of the new CEO somewhere and automatically fallen in love with him?."

"Father!" Temisa exclaim and just then her elder brother, Martin Patrick return.

"What's going on here?" Martin ask, as he walk into the living room, and he greet his father, "Good evening father, welcome home."

Martin walk to the stairs in the living room wanting to go upstairs, and Mr John reply,

"Welcome son, where went you?" Mr John shift his gaze away from Temisa to face Martin.

"I went out to see a friend father, how was work today in office?" Martin ask.

"Fine son, How about you?, Ain't you contemplating on starting something to do other than this online business whatever you're into?" Mr John question, as he stare to his son as he only have two children, Temisa and her elder brother Martin, whom is three years older than Temisa, and are both dark skin in complexion.

"Father, online business is more lucrative and less stressful if you're consistent and know what you're into, You can never understand this father as yours is just office work" Martin respond with a smile.

"Really, Just be sure of what you're into, as you're no longer a kid and you need to get serious with your life!" Mr John warn.

"I know that already father and am serious and into vlogs and music creation and am fine with it, you can focus on Temisa for now." Martin wink to his sister but Temisa glare at him.

"Yes, and about your sister, you talk to her to behave herself and get ready to resume with me to work on Monday" Mr John state, as he turn to go back to his room.

"Wow!, so quick father!. They didn't even wasted time in approving of new staffs?" Martin ask out loudly.

"No, not that.." Mr John words trails as he pause.

"What's the matter father?" Martin ask, and Temisa is also eager to know as she stare to her father.

"Nothing serious, just that a lot of female workers resigned in annoyance today and some later returned with new outfits other than the previous ones they wore to work in the morning."

"Why's that father?" Martin ask in surprise and Temisa is more eager to know why, and Mr John sigh..

"There's a new dress code implemented for all the female staffs that are working with us as I heard, the new CEO instructed them, not to wear too tight outfit to work, nor too short , or anything that will make them look too hot, as he's against it."

"Wow, father!" Martin burst out laughing but Temisa isn't finding it funny at all as she loves dressing hot and wearing skimpy outfits.

"You can't be serious about this revelation father?" Martin ask, but Mr John reply, "Off course I am, as It delayed in the production and manufacturing agencies for today, as a lot of female staffs refused to followed the new Boss's orders untill the company security chases them out. So Temisa when you're finally emailed to resume work with them on Monday, you should dress responsible to avoid being chased out."

"Father!" Temisa exclaim and stump her feet to the ground.

"Is the new Boss's order Temisa, to create a work free environment without any form of distraction" Mr John explain and Martin agrees with him.

"You're right father. Who knows if one of this female staffs tries to seduce him and he noticed and implemented that, hahaha," Martin chuckles out and Temisa passes him a deadly glare.

"What's it sister?" Martin ask her as he tries to hold his laughter, while Mr John sigh and walk towards his room door.

"Father!, we aren't done talking yet!" Temisa calls after him and he respond, "Later my daughter, As am tired for now."

Mr John open his room door and walk into his room to rest as he's tired, he walk to his shelf and drop his briefcase and sit on his bed to take of his shoes.

Thru he stand up and prepares to take his evening bath and he can hear Temisa still arguing outside his room door with her elder brother and he walk over to his bathroom to take his bath.

"I cannot work with them brother, imagine me wearing oversized clothes to work, just to fit into the company and how their useless CEO wants me to look like."

"Temisa!" Martin tries to hold his laughter and just then their mother arrive as she walk into the living room and overhead Temisa clearly mentioned "useless CEO." Making her to wonder which CEO is useless?, As her daughter is busy discussing about him loudly with her elder brother.

She saw her husband's car parked outside in the garage, and she knows he's fully around and listening to them.

She walk into the living room and question them, "Which CEO is useless Temisa?." Making them to pause and stares back to her.

"Mother!, You're back!" Temisa ask in surprise and Mrs Bianca smiles and walk up to sit on the nearest couch.

"Yes, am back and I overhead you just now mentioned useless CEO to your brother. Which CEO is that?. Don't tell me is your father's company CEO that you're referring to as useless?" Mrs Bianca question and Martin burst out laughing again while he turn to made his way upstairs.

"Welcome back home mom" he welcome her first as he start climbing the stairs.

"Yes son, so which CEO is your sister discussing with you about?" Mrs Bianca ask but Martin quickly hurries his steps upstairs.

"Why not ask her mother, as I don't really know and have not heard or seen any useless CEO either" Martin quickly goes back to his room, amd Mrs Bianca sigh and stare back to Temisa who's standing beside the stairs too.

"Temisa?.."

"Mom, I was just talking about Dad's company CEO, Like father said he's against women dressing hot to work and if am to resume by Monday, I have to comply and wear oversize suit to work too, and you know that I don't wear any oversize clothes, let alone oversized suit" Temisa says.

"I know that sweetheart and I saw it on the news too" Mrs Bianca respond.

"Where's Felicia?, Let her come and take my bag of groceries first from the car. Felicia!" Mrs Bianca call out their maid, whom is also her adopted daughter.

"Yes ma'am" Felicia a 20-years old young lady immediately runs out from her maid room downstairs and walk out to meet Mrs Bianca in the living room.

"Welcome back ma'am" Felicia welcome Mrs Bianca.

"Thank you Felicia. Go to the car's boot and offload all the things I bought from the market and take them to the kitchen" Mrs Bianca informs her.

"Okay ma'am" Felicia smiles as she collect the car keys from Mrs Bianca's hand and made her ways out of the living room and going to the garage to offload all the things that Mrs Bianca had bought from the the local market and she takes them straight into the kitchen, using the kitchen back door as entrance into the mansion instead of following thru the living room entrance door.
