Chapter Six: Why Me?

"Oh my god, how is this even possible?" Lia asks herself as she is processing what she is looking at.

Lia starts shaking due to her not being able to process what is staring directly in her face. She walks back to the cell with a shocked expression on her face. Finley realizes that she is scared and shocked at what she is looking at. Finley looks at her with concern in his eyes and stares into space.

"Hey Lia. You okay? You look like as if something is wrong." Finley said in a concerned tone of voice.

"Finley, may I tell you something and please don't freak out?" Lia said in a scared and confused tone.

"Sure, I promise to not freak out, alright." Finley said in a confident yet concerned tone of voice.

"I found out that I am pregnant because of all the abuse that I've endured for the past couple of months. And I definitely know who's it is." Lia said in the calmest she could, but her voice was also very shaky.

"Um Lia. WE ARE TOO YOUNG FOR THIS AND I'M NOT BLAMING YOU, TRUST ME ON THAT!?" Finley said in a confused and freaked out tone of voice.

"Finley, I TOLD YOU NOT TO FREAK OUT AND YOU STILL MANAGE TO DO THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT I TOLD YOU TO DO!?" Lia said in a loud tone but tries not to scare her brother.

Just then, slow clapping can be heard in the shadows. It was William. He approaches them slowly and just stands there. Finley and Lia look up to where William is standing and just stares back at him, with fear and shame in their eyes. He then says something that makes Finley's blood boil.

"Lia, Lia, Lia. You are such a little slut, you know that." William said in a sly and creepy tone of voice.

"NO SHE ISN'T, WILLIAM!? YOU FORCEFULLY TOOK THAT FROM HER!?" Finley yells in William's face to the point it makes William laugh his head off.

"Oh Finley, you know how I love hearing you scream at me to protect your sister. Well, guess what, you failed at protecting her to the point she thinks you're a monster." William said in a creepy and calm tone.

Finley stays silent. "You are a monster. You never protected your sister and look how traumatized she is." William said in a degrading and demeaning tone of voice.

William has the two stormtroopers walk in before him so that Finley doesn't murder him. William gets down to Lia's level and Finley starts screaming at the stormtroopers. William grabs Lia by the waist in a forceful manner and it makes Finley so pissed off that he starts to actually fight the stormtroopers. Finley is in tunnel vision to the point that he is seeing red and only red towards William. He somehow gets out of the stormtroopers' grip and charged towards William when William managed to grab Finley by the collar of his shirt.

"You are a monster towards your own sister. You better believe that she would want you dead and buried six feet under. I'm just telling you the truth." William said in a demeaning and deranged tone of voice.

"You shut up, William. You don't know what you're talking about." Finley growled in an angry tone.

"Lia, you know I'm the only one who loves you since your brother is a monster since he didn't protect you from my stormtroopers' abuse. I'm the only one who will care about your problems-" William started to say but Finley cuts him off.

"NO!? Lia, don't listen to him!? He's lying to your face and he's the one who has abused you." Finley shoots back so Lia could see that William was lying to her.

"Finley, you're the one who is lying. You are a monster for not protecting me from the abuse. You are the reason to why I'm so fucking traumatized." Lia said in a numb and angry tone of voice.

Lia didn't realize that she was brainwashed by William because of all of the abuse that she endured. She was brainwashed to think that William was the one to be protecting her and Finley was the monster when it was the opposite way around. Finley looked at Lia with a shocked and betrayed face. He looked like he was about to cry because he felt so emotional, and he felt like as if he failed his sister.

"See, she doesn't believe you over me. And it will stay that way until you learn how much of a bad person you are to her than me." William whispered in Finley's ear to the point it creeped him out.

"Can you shut up because all you're talking about is bullshit!?" Finley said angrily and in a shocked tone of voice.

"Fine then. I'll just leave you two alone then since you don't care about me." William said in a deceitful and manipulative tone of voice.

William walks out of the room with the two stormtroopers and went back to the secret camera room with Alicia. While the stormtroopers and William get settled in to watch the twins, Finley gets close to Lia and tries to snap her out of the brainwashing that William has caused.

"Hey Lia. Can we talk? I'm really concerned about you." Finley said in a timid yet concerned voice.

"Sure. What is it?" Lia questions in a suspicious yet confused tone of voice.

"I know he brainwashed you into thinking that the abuse was okay and that he wasn't in the wrong and I'm just really concerned about your safety." Finley said in an honest voice but also with a hint of hesitation.

"What do you mean by-" Lia gets interrupted by Finley hugging her and that is when she snaps out of the brainwash episode.

"Finley, may I ask, what the FUCK just happened?" Lia asks in a freaked out and confused tone of voice.

"It's a long story but long story short, you were brainwashed by William into thinking that the abuse was okay and that I was the monster." Finley explains to her in a simple and easy tone of voice.

"EW!? Why and how did he manage to do that? Wait, I think I might know how that happened." Lia began to say when she realized how tired she was and almost fell asleep.

Lia began to yawn. "Finley, I think it's time to go to sleep because I'm so tired right now. And I think this child is going to hate me for being up this late."
