Chapter Four: Is It Really Freedom or Is It A Dream?

The next morning, Lia and Finley start walking from their "comfortable" cave and start going to God knows where. They were walking through the forest when they start to hear the air raid sirens. They both start to panic as they didn't know if it was a nuclear attack against Canada or if it was an air invasion from an enemy country to Canada.

"We need to find somewhere safe so that we don't end up being killed in whatever this is!" Lia yells in a panicked state.

"Lia, calm down! I don't need you to pass out on me!?" Finley yells over the air raid sirens and the chaos that is going on.

"Finley, I'm not going to pass out! I just do not know what is happening!?" Lia yells in an irritated and panicked tone of voice.

"I know you're not but, I'm just telling you that, so you don't end up hyperventilating and pass out on me!?" Finley yells at Lia due to the loudness of the air raid sirens.

"We don't need to argue right now because I think we are in danger, Finley!?" Lia shouts at the top of her lungs because the sirens have gotten even more louder.

They went into the heart of Quebec City and saw the devastation of what the air invasion and bombing did to their hometown. Finley stared at the destruction in shock and was terrified of who did it while Lia stared at it with tears filling to the brim of her eyes and lets out a frustrated scream.

"Lia, are you okay? You never scream like that unless you are frustrated or stressed." Finley said in the most concerned tone he has ever had to use.

"Yeah. I'm fine, Finley." Lia said while trying to not cry her eyes out.

Lia falls to the ground and starts to sob. Finley looks down at his twin sister and hugs her very tight. Lia just stares out to the city in shock and disbelief. Finley is still hugging his sister and stares out to the city with a numb look on his face.

Lia and Finley walk out of Quebec City after a few hours of mourning for the loss of their city. They found out through a person who lived in the city for years that everyone escaped the city before the blast. Lia cries out in relief while Finley sighs a big sigh of relief. They walk back into the forest and find a cave to sleep in again.

They wake up the next morning to stormtroopers standing in the entrance of the cave. Finley gets up and stares in disbelief at the stormtroopers standing in the entrance.

"Don't you dare scream, boy. And if you do, we will shoot you in the back of your head and let your twin sister find you." One stormtrooper said in an aggressive tone.

"Yeah. You better not say anything to your twin sister about us being here." Another stormtrooper said in a shushed and aggressive tone of voice.

Lia gets up and goes to see if Finley is up but, she sees the stormtroopers with guns and Finley being targeted at. She starts to plead for her twin brother's safety but to no avail. She starts getting very angry and starts to scream at the top of her lungs at the stormtroopers.

"LET MY BROTHER GO, YOU BASTARDS!?" Lia yells at the top of her lungs.

"Shut up, girl!? You are not a part of this issue!?" A stormtrooper yells in anger.

"Let's make a deal, shall we?" Lia asks the stormtroopers with a dark tone and a grim look on her face.

"Alright. We'll make a deal with you, girl. Tell us what you want to deal." The stormtroopers said with a smirk on his face.

"You take me into your custody and let my brother go, safely." Lia said in a tone that Finley couldn't distinguish.

"Alright little girl, you have made yourself a deal." The stormtrooper said in a dark tone to the point that Lia cringed and shook so hard.

"When do you want to take me into the government's custody?" Lia asks the stormtrooper in a grim and shaky voice.

"Say goodbye to your brother first because as soon as you're done saying your goodbyes, you're coming with us." The stormtrooper said in a mocking and sly tone of voice.

"Alright then. Finley, I'm so sorry for what you are about to see." Lia states in a dark and very grim tone.

Lia then grabs one of the stormtrooper's guns and shoot them with it. It kills only two of the five stormtroopers present for the arrest of her and her brother before the deal was made. It caused the three remaining stormtroopers to laugh their asses off, right there in front of her face. She starts to go red in the face and somehow in one moment or another, she starts to strangle the lead stormtrooper of the operation.

"G-get off of me, you bitch!?" The lead stormtrooper stutters due to struggling to get air in his lungs to breathe.

"Then don't think that I will ever be considered a laughingstock to you or your group." Lia said through gritted teeth and in an angry tone of voice.

Lia strangles the lead stormtrooper to death and lets go of his throat as soon as she felt him take his last breath. She breathes heavily as she takes her hand off of his throat and the remaining two stormtroopers look at their dead leader in shock.

"Okay, little girl, how and why the FUCK did you THINK it was okay for you to kill our leader by strangling him to death?" The two remaining stormtroopers said in unison and in a tone that couldn't be distinguished from dark and anger.

Lia looks at the two remaining stormtroopers with a numb expression on her face. Her eyes are telling them to back the fuck up and that they can try to take her into the government's custody by force. The two stormtroopers backed up and ran from her to the point that they tripped over each other's feet. Lia felt like she won that battle with the government for the time being.

"You okay Finley?" Lia asks in a concerned tone and with caring eyes.

"I'm fine, Lia. You didn't have to do that, you know." Finley said in a concerned tone yet had a hint of if he was telling her how stupid it was for her to do that.

"At least you are alright." Lia said in a calm and collected tone.

"Are you feeling okay, Lia? Because you look shaken up a little bit." Finley asks Lia in a calm and quiet tone of voice.

"I feel fine Finley, thanks for asking." Lia said in a confident tone of voice, but she knew she wasn't feeling fine after all that took place.

Finley looks up at Lia. "Good. Now please don't do anything that stupid ever again."
