Prologue

Thunder rumbling, clouds joined together, trees scraped around the house like bony fingers. Ivy, Ivy come we need to go, but Dad where are we going? I said as he held my hands heading towards the forest, he held my hands so tight that he started to hurt me, as we reached the middle of the forest, he knelt down saying "Ivy, my sweet daughter please go to your Aunt Clarissa's house she will take you to your mom, alright", he said giving me an amulet, I cried as my Dad told me to hide behind a big tree and not to make a single sound. Two men appeared, they looked notoriously armed, they asked my Dad where is the girl?, I was so frightened to say a word. Dad said he didn't know anything, trying to protect me. I just sobbed as I watched my Dad being flunged into the air and landed on the ground I cried shouting "Dad" he slimed at me and said he's last words "I LOVE YOU MY LITTLE MUFFIN" and he died. The two men approached me trying to take me (forcefully) but I cried out so loud that a strong wave sent them flying across the forest and landed on the ground as their blood splashed over me, I didn't care less about what happened I just sat near my Dad's dead body sobbing thinking of how I watched my Dad killed in a cold-blooded way, I just ran to my Aunt's house, I tried to sleep but kept having nightmares of what had happened that night. I kept hearing voices of that night "Ivy, Ivy come we need to go".
