Raid (Part-3)

The moment it swallowed the body of the mini Victoris, the body of the huge zombie slightly increased in size while the muscles on its body became more pronounced and also seemed to glow in a blue aura.

"Yes….this…..feeling…awesome!" A raspy laughter leaked out of the huge zombie as it gazed at the enraged visage of Victoris and pounced towards another purple snake.

"Grrrrr" An intense murderous aura burst out of Ugly Shaggy while all the fish scales that littered its face stood up in agitation as it gazed at the figure of the huge zombie that had set a mini shaggy as its target next.

"Kekeke," A zombie laughed in a deranged manner as it kicked and punched a mini Shaggy while the other zombies too fought with the nearby purple snakes; they seemed to be evenly matched in power for the most part but the mini Shaggy that was targeted by the huge zombie was almost on the verge of death after a single hit.

'Swish'

A nearby mini Shaggy tried to bite its legs but was sent flying with a kick while another mini Victoris that impacted its back with sharp mandibles felt shocked as it failed to even scratch the tough exterior of the huge zombie.

The huge zombie snickered as its left hand that was a wasp stinger stung the head of the mini Victoris. Its forehead caved in under the attack when another kick from the huge zombie sent it reeling in the air.

The huge zombie then reverted its gaze towards the heavily injured mini Shaggy and swiped at it with its left hand.

The wasp stinger pierced into the eye of the mini Shaggy and drew our purple smoke that gushed out like a spring. Another shocking thing to note was that the moment it got hit by the huge zombie, it could no longer turn transparent and moreover, the youth who controlled it failed to recall it towards him.

After just two hits, the mini Shaggy slumped over with barely any strength left in it as the huge zombie inserted the mosquito mouthpart in its right hand into its head. The eyes of the mini Shaggy dulled the moment the mosquito mouthpart pierced into its head and voraciously sucked out purple smoke from it.

"Aaarrgh," The youth who controlled the mini Shaggy screamed in pain and seemed to have lost half his body weight in a matter of seconds. After a couple more seconds had passed, the youth fell down like a dried bark and vaporised into a small puff of purple smoke.

"Sanjay, nooooo!" A man who looked to be in his fifties and fought in a nearby area gave out an agonised cry at the sight of his son dissolving into purple smoke and evaporating into nothing.

"I'll kill you!" The man raged and transformed into a wasp and rushed out of the defensive net. Cries of alarm resounded out of the nearby people as they tried to stop the man but failed to stop him as he sped outside like a raging bull.

"Another….us….born," The huge zombie looked at the approaching wasp without the intention to fight back as it casually took a bite of another purple snake it had killed.

"Ahhhh," Just when it was a couple of feet away from the huge zombie, the wasp transformation suddenly began to dissolve while purple smoke began to gush out of its body like a dam that had its walls shattered.

The purple smoke converged onto its semi-wasp body and began to turn a shade of blue as the figures of a wasp, a mosquito, a dragonfly, a housefly, and a pigeon were projected through it.

Crunching sounds and the screams of a human were mixed in the purple-blue smoke as an intense stench permeated throughout the surroundings that made all the nearby Skill manifestations i.e. the mini Shaggy and the mini Victoris take an involuntary step back.

The traces of purple smoke vanished and were replaced by a cloud of thick blue smoke that converged at the centre and began to construct a huge monstrosity. Hands, beak, feathers, wings, patterns, etc. began to form within the blue smoke and peaked out from time to time.

"Grraaaahhh," A guttural roar resounded from within the blue smoke as a motion of its wings scattered the remaining blue smoke in all directions.

A zombie that was bigger than the huge zombie manifested into existence. With the head and legs of a pigeon, body that looked like that of a mosquito's, three pairs of arms- one human, one with the mouthpart of a mosquito and one with the stinger of a wasp, and ten pairs of dragonfly wings on its back.

This huge zombie was a head taller than the pigeon sized zombie from before as its eyes regained a sense of deranged clarity.

"Food," The 6-armed zombie swooped towards a group mini Victoris that were desperately trying to keep a crow at bay through their attacks and swiped at one of it with its claws.

'Rip'

A single attack from its sharp claws tore off the body of a mini Victoris into two pieces while its four monster arms rained down attacks on another mini Victoris. Its human arms caught hold of the severed mini Victoris and tugged it towards itself.

"Ahhh," The six-armed zombie moaned out in pleasure as it devoured the mini Victoris with relish while its hands didn't stop in its flurry of attacks.

'Screeee'

A bird cry resounded in the surroundings as the huge body of Victoris slammed into the six-armed zombie and sent it crashing into a wall.

The claws of a bird crashed onto its body and further pressed it against the wall while its beak swooped at its target and gorged out a large chunk of flesh.

'Chi'

A shrill scream leaked out of the puppet pigeon as a bird claw had scratched its back while two sharp needles pierced their way into its stomach.

Two more stingers stabbed at its throat and injected a copious amount of venom into its bloodstream.

The body of Victoris bulged as a huge lump coursed through its tail and converged in its mouth. The spider head faced the crow that had attacked the pigeon and breathed out a colourless mist that looked less viscous than water but swiftly arched in the air and sprayed into its eyes.

'Caaw'

The crow let out an ear-piercing cry of pain as it tumbled down towards the ground. The transparent mist was concentrated wasp venom that Victoris had stored in its body. Victoris then sprayed a torrential amount of wasp venom towards the other flock of birds and once again crashed into the body of the six-armed zombie.

Cries of alarm and pain resounded across all birds as some of them perched atop a nearby foothold while others that had unfortunately either inhaled the venom or had it hit their eyes lost their balance in the air and fell down.

From the fourth floor, all the way to the first floor and into the reddish-brown waters, the affected birds fell.

"Grrrrrr…Grraaaaa," Ugly Shaggy let out a scream of rage as bolts of purple lightning flickered all across its body while Prakash transformed into a baby pigeon and flew towards the huge zombie.

When the baby pigeon was less than 3 feet away from the huge pigeon that was gearing up to retaliate, Ugly Shaggy opened its mouth and breathed out a thick bolt of purple lightning towards it.

The purple bolt of lightning that was as thick as his head impacted upon the body of the huge zombie and paralysed it.

The purple bolt of lightning took on the shape of Ugly Shaggy as it coursed through the body of the huge zombie, traversing in and out of its skin and charring its internal organs in the process. It then streaked through the air and entered the body of another zombie, paralysing it in the process and darted towards another zombie.

The purple bolt of lightning became smaller and smaller after exiting the body of each zombie and finally entered the body of the six-armed zombie and disappeared. It had expended all of the lightning stored within it.

"One more!" Prakash gritted his beak and commanded Ugly Shaggy to unleash another such attack. It was something he came to know about after he had imparted the Convert Skill to a hundred people. Expending a huge amount of Dog Karma, he could unleash a bolt of lightning.

He had expended 1000 units of Dog Karma in the last attack and could barely try to squeeze out another. After unleashing the first bolt of lightning, Ugly Shaggy clearly looked weakened as its eyes drooped while its body became slightly sluggish in its movements. There was also a slight decrease in its body size but it began to accumulate purple smoke in its body once again as it gazed at the figure of the huge zombie that could still move, albeit with some difficulties.

More than half of its body was charred black while its left hand that had a wasp stinger crumbled into dust. It was also struggling to maintain balance as most of its dragonfly wings had been burned by the electric arcs that took on the shape of Ugly Shaggy and specifically targeted such weak points.

The only advantage was the fact that the lightning bolt unleashed by Ugly Shaggy had a sentient nature to it and could move like Shaggy for a short while before it lost its power.

Baring the ones that died, almost 200 mini Victoris opened their moths and breathed out a thick stream of purple smoke that impacted upon the body of Victoris like a laser and strengthened it.

"Aaaahhh," Vikram dissolved his wasp transformation as a torrent of purple smoke gushed into his body through Victoris that then revolved inside his body once and seeped out through his pores. The purple smoke then coagulated into a cocoon that wrapped around him and grew in size until it was as big as a pigeon and shattered to reveal a bird from within.

On a grey body, traces of black made concentric contours that began from below its neck region till the tips of its wings. The neck region was a striking emerald while the outer edges of the wings were a shade of jet black. The bird that looked to be a cross between a pigeon and a crow flapped its wings and crashed into the body of the six-armed zombie.

The six-armed zombie was clearly the strongest foe he had faced till now as the bleeding puppet pigeon, Victoris, and his transformed bird self struggled to pin it to the wall and gnaw away at its flesh.

'Puchi'

Victoris bit onto a humanoid arm and tore it off while an arm with the mouthpart of a mosquito pierced into its body.

Victoris twisted its body and broke off the needle-like mouthpart that was inserted into its body and tore off the remaining humanoid arm of the six-armed zombie.

'Chich' 'Chichhi'

The puppet pigeon screamed in pain as veins bulged across its neck. It had been repeatedly stung by the wasp stingers and was slowly losing control of its body.

'Woorf'

A purple bolt of lightning that took the form of a dog-headed snake streaked through the sky and entered into the body of the six-armed zombie.
