You are welcome. What happened to you? " He asked curiously.

He said, "Oh, I'm coming right away." He hung up the call.

Wilson quickly rushed to the bathroom to freshen up. He picked a dress and put it on.

He maneuvered his car out of their compound and headed straight to Sophia's house. He got to the place and met Sophia and Tracy there. Sophia was sobbing quietly. Wilson already knew what had happened. He went to her and asked her to come along with him. They entered treatment. Tracy followed them.

What did the thieves do to you? Hope you are not hurt?" He asked calmly.

"Yes, I was not here. I slept in Tracy's apartment," Sophia replied, stammering.

Wilson heaves a sigh of relief.

"What did they steal from you?" Wilson asked.

"Two sewing machines and a whipping machine with my tab," Sophia said calmly.

Wilson comforted her, saying that all would be well. Sophia nodded and Wilson began to say funny things that made them laugh. Tracy came out of her hiding and went to meet her. She didn't want to interrupt their private chat, which was why she hid somewhere for them to finish what they were talking about.

"Thanks Tracy, for helping your friend," Wilson said with a smile.

"You are welcome. Thank you too, for helping my friend out," Tracy said with a broad smile as she sat close to Sophia.

Wilson smiled and turned to Tracy to gear her friend up. And that all of this will pass quickly.

Tracy went to her room and came back with Sophia's phone. It was ringing.

She picked up the phone and it was her mother. Wilson signaled to her not to tell her mother yet to avoid unnecessary stress. After Sophia dropped the call, she saw an open message and picked it up. It was Wilson telling her about what happened to her mother. Sophia looked at Wilson and bent down in front of him to look at his eyeball.

"What happened to mum? Sorry, I just saw the message now. I would have come and checked her out. " She said, looking worried, not knowing if she truly meant what she later said.

Wilson put her up to sit beside him and said that his mother is fine now, that it was just a minor accident and she is back home now.

Sophia heaved a sigh of relief.

What do you like to eat? Sophia said calmly.

"Anything my love gives me," he said with a smile.

Sophia raised her eyebrow, and Tracy formed a fake cough. Sophia laughed and began to throw a pillow at her friend. Tracy ran out to her apartment, and the last pillow Sophia threw hit Wilson on the head. Sophia is still shy around Wilson. She just apologized almost immediately. Wilson laughed and threw the pillow back at her. Then he picked another pillow and threw it at her. This made Sophia throw another pillow at Wilson, and they continued the pillow fight until Wilson surrendered.

Sophia quickly went to the kitchen and prepared noodles. Before she could come back, Wilson had dosed off. Sophia quickly took off his shoes and placed him on the three sitters' chairs for him to sleep properly, and she started lamenting that the food would be very cold before he woke up and that the thieves had carried away the microwave.

Meanwhile, Wilson was awake when she was doing all that. He just pretended as if he was sleeping. When he was about to leave, Wilson dragged her back and told her to bring the food. Sophia was shocked that he had not slept and had heard all that she said. This made her shy again, because he knew that he would have to conclude that she already loved him.

"I have something to tell you," Wilson said as she was eating his food.

"Alright. She replied

Sophia went to the kitchen and dished her food. She sat quietly beside Wilson and began to eat.

The thought of what Wilson wanted to tell her filled her mind. She thought if she had not been behaving well, or had anyone talked ill about her to him, or maybe what transpired between her and Joe. She was so lost in thought that she didn't know that Wilson had been watching her since he said he had something to tell her.

Wilson tapped her gently, and she became conscious. She quickly formed a fake smile and asked if Wilson wanted more. Meanwhile, the noodles have finished cooking in the kitchen.

Wilson looked at her eyeballs and said yes. She didn't know what to do. She just placed her food in front of him. Wilson smiled, and both of them began to eat it. When they were about to finish the food, Wilson told her that is how they should eat it next time. Sophia just nodded in reply.

"What I wanted to tell you is about me and not about you," Wilson said, breaking the silence.

"Alright," she answered,

"Can you tell me what you have been thinking about? Are you scared of me? Or do you think I can do something stupid? " Wilson asked calmly.

"No! I never thought of that! She objected almost immediately.

Wilson moved closer to her and asked calmly what she was thinking about. Sophia said that he was thinking about nothing in particular.

"Is it about what happened with Joe?" Wilson asked, smiling broadly.

Sophia just nodded in reply.

"You are a good person. For a few moments, I've been with you, I already know you, and even if you do the worse in the past, it can not be as worse as mine," Wilson said calmly.

"Thanks, but you are a kind, humble, easy-going person," Sophia said, smiling.

Wilson began to laugh out loud, and Sophia joined in the laugh too.

Really?" Wilson exclaimed loudly and burst out laughing.

It's okay now. Have I said the wrong thing? Sophia said

If you ask other ladies, they might not tell you, "he said calmly and solemnly."

"No matter who you were before, it bothered me. What is important is who you are now," she said, assuring him.

"Do you truly mean that? Even if someone taints your opinion of me? " He asked, looking at her eyeballs.

"Yes, that was in the past," Sophia answered.

"It is part of what I have to tell you, but not now," he said.
