Going for a date...

Wilson went to bed and ruminated about what was happening, but he couldn't figure it out. Was it because she didn't run after him or what? He creased his brow on the bed, looking at the ceiling. Perhaps because she's playing hard to get? "Anyway, I will surely lay my hand on you."

At 5 am the following morning, Wilson dialed her number. She didn't pick it until the third time.

"Good morning. How was your night? I'm sorry about what I said last night." He apologized.

"No problem. My night is fine, and yours?" Her melodious voice echoed in his ear. 'If not for the money, I won't have time for your childish behavior. ' She thought.

"Fine, thanks. I hope you don't forget our date today." He hushed, afraid she'd change her mind.

"I don't," she responded, with no obvious change in her tone. She wanted to refuse the date but didn't have a genuine excuse to give. It's just an ordinary date, nothing much. A date can't hurt. Can it? '

"Alright, 5 pm. I will be expecting you. Enjoy your day. " He said softly, ending the call.

Sophia shook her and returned to her things. Whatever you're thinking, It's for nuts. You want to get me into your bed while I want your money. Hmm! ' She twisted her lips and looked at the mirror, smiling. Let's see who wins this game.'

She was not a patient person. But she couldn't pinpoint the exact reason why she couldn't get angry at Wilson. She thought about it, but there was no answer. One thing is for sure. She wasn't in love with him. Perhaps that was her delusional thought. Only the future can tell.

Sophia had forgotten about the date. When she looked at the clock, it came rushing to her. "Shit! Why would I involve myself in this useless date?" She grumbled. She took a quick bath and wore something decent and presentable. Sophia had to spend a couple of minutes in her wardrobe, not knowing which dress to take. If anyone saw this, this would flabbergast them. Sophia never cares about her dressing. But why was she taking longer to pick a dress?

She went to her standing mirror and was stupefied. She rolled her eyes and looked at her body from top to bottom. "I guess I'm not that bad." Her beautiful round lips held an enchanting smile that could switch any man.

"Wow, I guess this looks good on me, right?" She murmured with a radiance on her beautiful, thin lips. Sophia walked to where her shoes were. She picked up a golden, 2-inch shoe and put it on. Sophia walked around the room to feel the heels around her feet. It's been a long time since she wore heels. Who would have thought a reluctant date would force her to wear heels?

"Wow, this is perfect." She said to herself.

Sophia was lost in her thoughts, admiring herself, when she suddenly saw the sudden arrival of a visitor in front of her. When she finally recovered from her fantasy, she saw a teasing smile on her friend's face. Sophia wanted to hide in the hole. She knew she would've heard the end of it from her friend.

Her friend dressed in a beautiful red gown and silver shoes, smiling at her.

"When have you been standing here watching my drama?" she asked, not looking at her knowing smile.

"Is there anything I'm missing? Do you have a date? When did you get your beautiful gown? Wow, it looks great on you! "Her friend fired many questions at once.

"Easy! How many questions at a time? Anyway, my aunt just got the dress for me and I'm checking it out. " She said, rolling her eyes.

"And???" She rolled her eyes, staring straight into Sophia's pupil.

"And what, and that all?" Sophia said, rolling her eyes again.

"Tell me what I need to know. I know you are hiding something from me." She said and turned back, preparing to leave.

Sophia quickly dragged her back, and the two of them sat on the couch.

"I will tell you, but nothing much... You remember that man... That arrogant CEO that I sewed clothes for came to check on me in my shop yesterday." She announced, not daring to look at her friend's piercing gaze.

"Wow!" Her friend shouted happily.

"Why do you just jump to a conclusion...? ... He said he was just passing and saw me, so he said hello... Hmm, Hmm... " Sophia bites the edge of her lips, finding it difficult to complete the statement.

"What!" Her friend shouted. The suspense was killing her. She wanted to know what happened to her friend to cause these obvious changes.

"He asked me for a date... and... and I said yes." Sophia took a deep breath and looked at her friend's face, expecting some rueful comment. However, she heard none.

"Wow, nice one. When are you going? Don't keep the CEO waiting. Your dress is quite good for the first date. Perhaps this won't be your last date together. " Her friend said, laughing.

"Seriously? You are funny. He just wants to be my friend. That is all." But, deep down, she didn't think they were just going to be ordinary friends.'Friend, who am I kidding?' She sighed deeply in her heart. I hope this does not come back to hunt me.

"Girlfriend, be careful." She warned, giving her close friend a warm hug before leaving.

Wilson dressed lavishly. He wore an expensive blue tuxedo, putting on a Rolex watch and a shiny black shoe. The suit shows off his well-proportioned proportional muscle while his broad shoulders allow the suit to seat comfortably.

He had a meeting with his workers, and they asked him questions, which he answered calmly. They were surprised because they knew their boss to be a proud person. They whispered about his change in attitude, trying to know what caused the change. However, no one knew.

Everyone noticed the change in attitude. However, Wilson didn't care. Perhaps he didn't see them because he was lost in his world. A couple of minutes before 5 pm, Wilson left his company and journeyed toward the appointed location for his date with Sophia.

As he was about to get to the restaurant, he thought of getting a gift for Sophia. He wanted to amend the relationship because of his previous childish behavior. It didn't take him long to find a nearby boutique.

Wilson checked for female dresses and ended up choosing three beautiful, flowing gowns and two short ones. They are his favorite colors. He checked for shoes and concluded that a size 38 should be her size. He thought.

"Now, these should work."
