Chapter 1

"I can't believe that you could do this to me Rachel, I trusted you with a little task and this is the result I get. I never thought you were such a scheming bitch."

Elena was so furious because she really trusted Rachel and considered her as her best friend and sister.

Elena is the daughter of Damien Kings, the president of the Kings corps, one of the top five ruling business in Europe. She was never on good terms with her father because she is an illegitimate child. She never had any friends because her stepsister Maggie made it difficult for her. Fortunately for her she came across Rachel and they became best of friends but Rachel had a motive of becoming her friend. Rachel had always wanted to be Maggie's friend but she could not get close to her and ended up using Elena.

Elena was so furious that she refused to listen to any of Rachel's explanations. She had asked her friend to help her get some information from the King's corp so she see how it will help her company. She started her own company so that she will not be dependent on her father's wealth, but her scheming friend took it as an opportunity to give her away and get closer to Maggie.

Rachel immediately knelt down and started crying, she then said "Lena I'm innocent, I never sold you out. I never knew that Maggie would spy on me."

Elena did not know what to say because everyone always finds an excuse whenever they did something wrong to her. She never expected her best friend to do this to her.

She had been collecting the information needed for a long time only for all her hard work to go down the drain because of a little mistake made by her friend. She should should have expected something like this but she decided to give her friend a benefit of doubt but the end result was betrayal.
