Olivia's POV:
I ignored what he said as I continued drinking, and then I stood up and couldn't maintain my balance. "Oh," I was about to fall when Mateo held me.
"You got what you wanted," he said, and Natalie hurried towards me.
"You are already drunk; let me take you home," she said, and I held her cheeks.
"My friend, don't marry someone who won't give you any happiness. Look at me now," I said as my gaze landed on Mr. Adams.
"I know you are hoping that he will love you in marriage, but that's impossible."
"Why is it impossible?" She asked angrily, but I found it funny; my head hurt a lot.
"Because you are Natalie and I am Olivia," I replied, and she frowned.
"He will leave you and go hawking for other ladies."
"Olivia," Natalie scolded me, but I didn't pay attention to her.
