Underneath the vast chandelier of the large hall, people could be seen mingling amongst themselves. The fruity smell of wine, the drifting scent of cologne and perfume, the sound giggles and chuckles, the glimmering of the jewelry and evening gown, the clinking of glass cups, the whispers and murmurs going around….this was the typical annual gala that happened every year in the New York city of the united states.
