Kyle couldn’t be more indifferent.
Mr. Garcia was speechless.
"Your sister has returned and wants to see you."
Kyle squinted in meditation.
Since she went lost at three years old, she had no recollections of her parents, but still vaguely remembered her sister.
On the phone, Mr. Garcia asked again urgently.
"Kyle, will you come back?"
"Yes."
She answered decisively and hung up the phone.
Standing up, she was overwhelmed by a surge of blood for a moment.
A sudden dizziness engulfed her.
Kyle supported herself by leaning against the wall.
The aisle of the hospital was in an eerie quietness, but she heard the buzzing of machines in the operating room.
The pale wall seemed to be overturned in front of her. Thus, Kyle squatted down against the wall.
A heat overcame her nostril.
She had a nosebleed!
It was not a good omen.
