Avoiding Her.
"Are you going to be okay?" Sophia asked as she watched Vanessa get dressed for work.
Vanessa's hands combing her hair paused as she turned to Sophia. Seeing the worrisome look in her eyes, she understood what she was talking about.
She nodded before returning her gaze to the mirror where she could see herself. "I'll be fine. There's nothing to be worried about." She assuringly told her, but Sophia didn't think so
She didn't think everything would be 'fine' as Vanessa so casually put it.
It's been a week since they moved out from Alex's place, thus making it a week since she last saw Alex and had been to work. Alex had given her a week off, and she had spent the whole of it putting their house in order and buying whatever was necessary for the place.
