Misunderstood
The next morning, Li Xie took her bath and dressed, feeling shy to go downstairs after the situation that happened last night, she actually thought everything through and finally realized that she had actually fallen for him overnight, she remembered her racing heart whenever he's close to her, the day they ked, how she wanted more, how she wanted to resist but her body didn't let her, her tummy tickles whenever he held her, when she felt uncomfortable to see another woman touching him.
She wasn't sure if she loves him or like him but one thing is that she's genuinely attracted to him.
Her door was knocked upon, she felt giddy inside thinking it was Zhang Linfen, she hurriedly went to open the door and saw the butler.
"Young madam, the young master said that we should tell you that he won't be home for some days. He said we should remind you to have your meal always"Li Xie smiled sadly and nodded.
The man bowed and walked away, she closed the door and walked to her bed.
He must be angry at her, she shouldn't have said all those things, she must have really hurt his ego.
Li Xie thought that he would be back like always but it didn't happen, as he didn't show up for lunch nor dinner.
This went on for about three months,her feelings gradually deteriorate as he didn't visit nor call at all.
Just as the day was about to end,her stomach rumbled, she bit her lips softly and decided to sneak downstairs, she tiptoed and rushed downstairs in soft footsteps.

Meanwhile, Zhang Linfen who just came back went to his room when he saw a petite figure sneaking to the kitchen, he wanted to catch her red handed but he thought otherwise.
It isn't his business.
He walked upstairs but his mind kept drifting to her, he really missed her,her natural musk, her cute expression, he missed everything about her but she wanted restrictions and that's what he'll give her, he doesn't want to look like he loves getting into her personal space.
He was really tired that his saggy eye bags underneath his eyes was noticeable from any point of view, he dragged himself upstairs and lied on his bed.
He has a lot of problems to deal with but first he needs to rest, he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Li Xie had finished eating and went upstairs, she saw Zhang Linfen door slightly opened and took a peek, she saw a figure on the bed and instantly became frightened.
She went back to the kitchen and carried a pan and heading inside his room, Zhang Linfen head was facing sideways so she couldn't see the face, she raised her arm up and was about to hit him when he jolted up, he looked at the woman in his front, she had her eyes closed,he was admiring her facial features not realizing the situation he was in, she didn't think twice and hit him.
"Fuck"she was about to hit him when she heard the familiar voice, she opened her eyes and looked at the person, her eyes almost popped out of her sockets, she dropped the pan on the floor and rushed to him seeing his injured head, she felt apologetic and somehow overwhelmed.
He deserved it, why did he leave all by myself?.
She pouted thinking by herself, Zhang Linfen looked at the woman in front of him who smiled and pouted for no reason,he was in this situation and she was laughing by herself.
His anger knew no bounds"hey,are you blind?, can't you see what you just did?"she didn't say a word to him and looked into his eyes.
"If you haven't entered inside without informing anyone,this wouldn't have happened"she finally said defending her actions.
"What did you expect me to say?,it twelve in the middle of the night and you expect me to call you people and say hey don't sleep am coming home in the middle of the night"she bit her lips thinking of a counterattack.
He found that sexy as she wet her lips making it shine lighting up his world.
"Couldn't you have waited till morning?".
"I should stay in an hotel when i have a house here. You know what, just leave,if you can't help then leave"she bit her lips harder, he had changed, the few days she had spent with him showed how much he cared about her but now that he's back,his character towards her has changed.
What happened to him? she wondered as she stood up, his heart clenched while he watched her stand.
He had expected her to at least try to act stubborn not give up, the pain he felt in his head can't be compared to the wound in his heart.
He closed his eyes,then felt a soft hand removing his hands from his head, she carried a cotton wool and used it to clean the surface of the wound, she dropped it and carried an ointment rubbing the surface, she was suprised when he didn't flinch once,he looked as if he had gone through things worse than this.
After applying the first aid, she arranged everything and put them in order,then putting it to where it belongs to.
"Am sorry for the little misunderstanding, I'll take my leave"she carried the pan and went outside, Zhang Linfen smiled scenting her musk in his room,it still felt like her hand was still there,it looks like a dream come true.
