Disaster Day (2)

(Chapter dedicated to Chibi_Wolf38 for the Dragon. (❁´◡`❁) )

Long Haoran stared at the woman, who was sleeping peacefully, and chose not to wake her up but rather to question her later about what happened.

He went back to the living room to pick up the plastic wrappers of breads, biscuits, melon seeds, bags of chips, and happy fat water cans. He disposed of them, and also checked under the table.

From the corner of his eyes, he saw a paper and picked it up. The scribbles in it was unfamiliar and thought it was from the elf. He momentarily stored it in his inventory.

After tidying up the living room, he went inside the kitchen and was stopped by the door.

Everything had traces of charcoal. Pots and pans were overturned, and the handles of the knives were broken and scattered on the floor full of black stains.

Then, he saw the steam rising from the wok and approached the stove with the small embers still burning in it.
