Beats Faster

I was just wandering my eyes everywhere even the four corners of our room that will never change. It's always the same but someone caught my eye...

"Hey Jimin, what are you giggling about?"

"Uhhh, it's nothing Tae.. just some funny thing..", he didn't even bother looking at me.. what's wrong with him?

Our professor came in and he's still on his phone. I tapped his shoulder and gave a signal that the prof is here. He immediately put his phone down and slightly panicked.

He was never like this. He's always attentive. Something's not the same....

After what happened last month, he's just losing his focus..

We finished our classes today and I want to drink... and what I mean is alcohol..

"Um, Jimin-ah?"

He looked at me then continued putting his things in his bag..

"Yes Tae?"

"I want to drink..."

He looked at me immediately.. he knew what I meant because I only use the word "drink" when I meant alcohol.

"Okay, I'll text the guys."

We made a groupchat, the six of us so if we want to do something together, we can plan it there if we're not together.

Jimin and I went directly home not waiting for the other guys.. we prepared our living room, ordered foods for our snacks and took out beers, soju and other alcohol in our ref.

"Tae, why do you want to drink?", Jimin asked me while preparing the snacks to a clean plate..

"Nothing.. I just want to loosen up and remove the stress in me", I said as I sigh which he noticed..

"Well actually, me too.. I am actually worried about our finals and..." why didn't he finish it?

"And what Jimin?"

He looked at me with his hesitant eyes..

"You can tell me everything.. we're bestfriends Jimin.", I reassured him and he let out a sigh this time finally giving in..

"Okay okay. Actually, Jungkook and I have 'something'. I know we love each other but there's still no label between us. I don't know what to do.. am I being to fast or is he being too slow? I want to be with him.", just as like what I thought.. it's about Jungkook.

"Did it start last month?", his eyes widened as if asking me how did I know..

"I saw the two of you when I was in our balcony.. you two were holding hands and he hugged you"

He smiled shyly looking away from me controlling his blushing cheeks..

"U-uh.. y-yeah"

"Don't worry Jimin, I think he loves you too and I'll support you two", I said to him and he smiled to me..

"Thanks Tae, I feel lighter" I just hugged him and continued arranging our things before they come..

Soon later, they finally came.. Namjoon-hyung, Yoongi-hyung and Jungkook came first then Hoseok-hyung. I laughed at Jungkook's reaction when he entered our house because he seemed so fascinated. Jimin immediately helped Jungkook though. He toured Jungkook first as I wait for the guys to change their clothes and come here.

They came back here one by one but Jungkook and Jimin are still not here.. we waited for a few minutes more until we saw Jimin blushing and Jungkook smiling from eye to eye as they climb down. The heck? What just happened with this two?

"Okay so since everyone is here, I wanna tell something to you all", Namjoon-hyung will tell something at us?? It's a first..

"What is it Joonie?", Hobi-hyung asked curious as well.

"Y'all know Kim Seokjin right? The top student in Culinary Arts Department?"

We all nodded our heads.. who wouldn't know him? He's rich af, smart and handsome..

"Well, we've been together for a week now", Namjoon-hyung said as he scratched the back of his head..

"WHAT?!" We said in unison..

"Oh my ghaddddd, I'm screaming!", Hobi-hyung

"Yeah I know, congrats", Yoongi-hyung

"Yay new member!!", Jimin

"Wow hyung, niceee", Jungkook

"Congrats hyung.. so when will you introduce him to us?", I said eagerly in meeting him..

"So we are all the famous students in our department and we have another one.", Hoseok-hyung said laughing at the thought of all of us being together..

"Well I don't know yet but I'll definitely introduce him to you guys one day. You know how hectic our schedule right now because of the finals, right?", we all nodded and sighed together. It's really stressful.

We drank ourselves to how much we want.. we don't have classes tomorrow since it's sunday so we can drink a lot today..

We played, sang, dance and did everything we can until we can feel the liquor taking over us..

Now we are sitting on our seats tired of what we have done.. I looked at the faces of my friends.. thinking how much I'm lucky to have them..

Yoongi-hyung who were always the most 'normal' one but helps me a lot and makes me feel happy.

Hoseok-hyung who makes my day always fun and happy regardless if I have a bad time. He'll just turn it to be a happy time.

Namjoon-hyung, he takes care of my mental being and helps me improve as a person, son, student and as a friend.

Jimin-ah, the friend I never thought I'll have. He's my soulmate.. he's always there with me supporting me and taking care of me.. he's literally an angel..

And Jungkook, the newest one.. though he's not with us for a long time, he and I really works up together especially when playing video games..

I looked at them one by one starting with Yoongi-hyung to Jungkook.. but when I stared for a few seconds to Jungkook's face.. I suddenly felt something.. maybe I was getting more dizzy because of too much alcohol but I feel my heart beating so fast.. ugh I'll never drink this much again. I know I can't handle liquor so shit! I'm feeling heavy..

I woke up on my bed from the smell of a good breakfast.. I wanted to sit up but I can't.. my brain is aching so muchhhhhhh. I'm doing my best thinking of what happened before I passed out but all I can remember is Jungkook..

Why do my heart beats faster whenever I think of Jungkook?
