Maverick got to his room which was not too far away from Calista's room.His steaming hot right now and his junior was somehow complaining.

It's like it was shouting to be let out since it was really struggling beneath those shorts.

He dropped his horny self on the bed and ran his fingers in his hair.Truth be said,he had not been this way for who knows how long.The sexual encounters he had with Addison had never aroused him to this extent.

He really loved the girl and it was no doupt but his body had never yearned for her as it was now yearning for his new fake wife.He could not telling what was wrong with him or his body,he simply could not.

He was still on the bed, thinking of what just happened between him and Calista when a faint knock from the door embraced his ears.

He thought it was Liz since she was the only person who knocked on his door before coming in except for his sisters,but they were not around.

"Yeah..."came his short response,his gaze fixed on the door.

The door was pushed open and a young and vibrant looking man walked inside with a smile ob his face but a frown settled on Maverick's face.

"When did you start knocking on my dorr before walking in?"Maverick asked with the same frown still on his face.

"Ever since you got married.Am not interested in see things that a baby like myself should not see,"Jake answered after letting out a little chuckle.

"Besides you were waiting for my arrival, were you not?"he continued.

Truth be said,after the little encounter he had with Calista,he forgot that he had called Jake to come over.

Jake is the second son of Mr Nick Williams and Mrs Leah Williams.Nick Williams is the CEO of William & William Cooperation. He was in position six in the list of the top ten richest families in USA and at the top was the Atlas that owned many and different companies.

Jake was a lawyer.He was just a black sheep of the William family just like Aldo was. He did not want anything to do with his father's wealth. He therefore studied Law and graduated as the first class law student in Harvard university.

Jake and Maverick knew each other when they were in university and they became friends. After graduation, Maverick hired Jake as his personal lawyer as he was already employed by William & Williams Cooperation as the company lawyer.

"I was...?"he muttered the question to himself but loud enough for Jake to hear.He was really used to his friends attitude and that's why they were friends.

"I guess that's a no but still am here and I guess we should get to work because I have to meet with CEO Williams and discuss something about the company..."Jake spoke.

Maverick loved how professional Jake could be when it came to work.

"That's your father you are talking about... Maverick spoke with a smile on.

"I have not forgotten that Mr Royal..."Jake responded earning a hard pat on his head from Maverick.

"You can be all professional with you father for a I care but not me..."he warned seriously.

Jake nodded hurriedly in response then parted his lips to speak.

"Fine fine but you did not have to hit my head... anyways can we get to work now?"he asked again as he took the marriage contract out and the marriage certificate as well.

He placed them on the glass table infront of the bed then looked at Maverick.He had not told him about the changes he needed on the documents so they were as they were before.

"So what changes should be made in the documents?"he asked taking out a pen from his pockets.

Maverick cleared his throat before talking.He was sure his friend would create a ruckus about this just as Kimberly had.

He then ran his hand through his hair as he searched for the right words to say.

"Well,it seems I married the wrong girl and so I need the name to be changed..."he hit the nail right on the head.

Jake who had been reading the contract as he waited for him to speak,raised his head and looked at him.He really did not understand what he just said.

"I don't get it..."he spoke very calmly as his gaze was now steady on Maverick's face.

Maverick stood from the bed and began pacing to and fro the room.What he said sounded crazy and he also knew it.

"What don't you get Jake?"he asked impatiently."That I was tricked into marrying the wrong girl or that I need the contract to be drafted?"

Jake did not understand it again. He was tricked into marrying the wrong person and here he was wanting to draft the contract instead of punishing those moles that made a fool of him.

It was confusing but again very interesting.Confussing of why Maverick was letting that go and interesting that someone could dare play such a game with the cruel and heartless Royal Maverick Atlas.

A short laughter escaped Jake when he thought of how a fool Maverick had been made by his in-laws.

Maverick turned around to see his friend and his lawyer laughing.Like seriously!What was so amusing?

"Mind telling me what is so funny?"Maverick asked his other form replacing the playfulness side of himself.

The laugh on Jake's face and lips disappeared that moment. He became serious again.

"Alright so are you letting that go?.."he asked curiously.

"Letting what go?"he asked again looking at him dangerously.Maverick really hated people interrogating him. Why couldn't this human get done with all the formalities and leave him to himself?

"You are not going to punish your in-laws?"Jake asked directly now.

"Yeah...as you said,they are my in-laws,my family and I do not punish my family and I did.not marry for love...you know better so it makes no difference,"Maverick said nonchalantly making Jake nod.

He had told him that marrying a girl just to protect his girlfriend and was a bad idea but he insisted and now this happened...he was yet to see more unfold.

"Alright..."Jake responded.He really had no energy left to try talk some sense to this man.Like seriously,he had tried his best to no vail.

"So what's your fake-wrong wife's name?"Jake again asked getting ready to scribble that down and more information if needed.

Maverick breathe in deeply.Just the thought of that girl brought naughty pictures in his mind.He shook his head to push away those though then spoke.

"Calista...Calista Serenity Ishaani,"Maverick responded.

Jake's eyes widened in surprise.How on earth could this infamous human marry the girl he had a deep crush on.Calista was his favourite music artist and he was head over heals with her voice,her beauty and her smile...oh! Everything was driving him crazy.

"Say you kidding me....!"Jake beemed looking at his friend with a smile full of interest.He had seen the girl the other night but her veil had made it impossible to see her face.

A frown settled again on Maverick's face...

"No am not..."he responded frowning deeper.

"Oh my.You are such a freak and the worst friend I have ever had.You married the girl I.had a crush on and never bothered to tell me!"Jake spoke but the smile never dissapered from his lips.

Those words angered Maverick.How could Jake have a crush on his wife!?

Now this too was confusing to Maverick.Why was he getting angry now.He already knew she was an upcoming superstar and she was known and loved by people so that was obvious but why did he feel like punching him to the face for saying that aloud?

"Unfortunately she is now my wife..."he responded without any care in the world.

"That's too bad you know.Given that you do not really love her but just married her for your own selfish reasons..."he continued.

"Jake!...will you do as asked or should I get another lawyer?"he asked in a serious mode his face looking darker.

He was getting more angry.

"Calm down Mave...I will get it done.I believe it's just the name that needs to be changed and nothing more..."he confirmed as he scribbled something down on his notepad.

"Yeah..."Maverick answered calmly.

"Cool. Consider that done but if possible,you can let me get closer to her so that I can propose as soon as you divorce her..."Jake spoke.

Maverick looked at his friend without a word although his mind wanted to shout and say'What if I don't divorce her?'.

Divorce was due according to the contract but the divorce was to take place if both parties decided to.
