Then, and now

My name is Athena, and this is my story.

When I was six, my mother passed away. She was the one I looked up to the most compared to my father. Mother and Father never really fought, but when they did, it was loud. My whole neighborhood could hear them, but they never intended to stop them. My mother had long beautiful dark blue hair, with icy white eyes. My father on the other hand, had white hair and golden eyes. I guess you could say they where special, because those kinds of hair and eye colors came with great power. I inherited both my mother and fathers beautiful hair and eyes. My hair is a light blue, and my eyes are icy white with a hint of gold. My mother's beauty didnt only grab the attention of good people, but bad people as well. Our world is at the age of where magics and advanced technology come into play. People from all over the world have developed new magics over the years, but some not so powerful as the other. My mother had some business abroad and could take me nor father with. I was told that my mothers ship got overpowered by a wave in the ocean, then the boat sank to the bottom. I was not convinced. My mother would never die without a reason to fight. I was told about the accident and didnt handle it well, seeing as I was still a child. As I grew up, I started to train on my magics and combat techniques. Me and my father grew distant, and havent talked to each other in a few years. After my mothers death, he started drinking and coming home late, all the time. I lacked trust to find in him, seeing as his spirit to live has vanished with my mothers body. I am currently sixteen about to turn seventeen here in a few months, this year of 2043, were every one chooses to live a dream other than reality its self. Walking hasn't been a thing since a genius invented a flying spell to cast on a single person. This world has changed from the one in the past. I guess no one cares. I'm getting carried away, let's begin the story.
