A Friendly Competition to Find an Eye

As we all get settled with our new weapons Claptrap clumsily finds his way to the door. As he is making his way towards the door Angel starts talking to us again, "Once upon a time, four vault hunters changed Pandora forever. But their time passed, thanks to Handsome Jack. Pandora needs new heros. I know that's all of you." Claptrap was able to make it to the door and fumble his way into opening it. As the 6 of us continue through windshear water Claptrap continues to talk about his know-how of the glacier, "Even though Knuckle Dragger blindsided me, I know my way around this glacier. I bet we'll find my eye in Frostbite Crevasse."

     As we make our way towards the edge of the glacier we find a group of bullymongs. Before we get spotted by them I ask, "Do you all want to make this a friendly competition?" "What do you mean?" Maya asked in confusion. "Whoever kills the most of the bullymongs gets first pick at the loot we get." I responded. "I don't think that's a bad idea, it would let us see how each of us fight. Let's start on 3. 1. 2. 3." Axton said as we all started fighting in our own ways. Salvador rushed straight into the group of bullymongs. Axton and I were giving him mild covering fire while moving in ourselves. Zero was staying back with Maya as they both went for headshots. The bullymongs didn't last long with all of us working together.

     Once they all were dead Claptrap moved up and continued leading us towards Knuckle Dragger. The ground started shaking just before we got to the next area. "Ugh, AGAIN?! Jack's tearing Pandora apart to find the Vault. They say Jack's drilling operations are causing those earthquakes. That, or your mom just got outta bed, ZING!" Claptrap said as he moved too close to the edge of the cliff and fell off. "Guess it's time for round 2. See you boys down there." Maya said as she jumped right off the cliff. "Last one down buys the drinks at the next bar." I said following closely behind Maya. As the others landed the fighting had already started. Once the bullymongs were dead we all met back up at Claptrap, who happened to land head first in the snow. "Hey! What's that noise? Are you fighting? Are you still there? I don't hear Bullymongs anymore. Kinda just waiting on you. To get me outta here. But please, take your time. Can't help but notice you're not getting me out of here. Maybe you're thinking, 'Oh, Claptrap's such a strong and noble paragon of justice and skill, he can get out himself.' Which, most of the time, you would be totally right about. But as it stands right now, I could use some help. And if you don't I'm gonna have to pull out the big guns: I'll hit ya with the silent treatment. See how you like that… Yep. Giving you the silent treatment. Feel the sting of my passive aggression. Being totally silent… Not talking to you. Not at all. Silence… Total silence." Once Claptrap was done with his rant we started to dig him out of the snow. 

        Once he was out and thanked us we got a radio call from the man that tried to kill us Handsome Jack. "Hey, kiddo. Jack here – President of Hyperion. Lemme explain how things work here: Vault Hunter shows up. Vault Hunter looks for the new Vault. Vault Hunter gets killed. By me. You see – seeing the problem here? You're still alive. So, if you could just do me a favour and off yourself, that'd be great. Thanks, pumpkin." As Jack was talking Claptrap was able to open the shipping container blocking our path. Right after we got to the other side of the container Claptrap screams, "Oh! My eye just switched back on! I see a tough-looking minion, and an incredibly handsome robot. Which means that whoever has my eye is very close." As Claptrap was talking we all saw Knuckle Dragger climb from the top of a crashed Hyperion transport ship. "Alright Salvador draw its attention with Clint. Me and Maya will get on the other side of it. Zero get some distance and cover us from other bullymongs." Axton told us dropping back into his role of a soldier. No one disagreed with his plan. Salvador rushed towards the mountain of a beast with me close behind. Knuckle Dragger was drawn towards Salvador and I as we put tens of rounds into him. Maya and Axton were doing the same thing to his backside. Knuckle Dragger eventually got bothered by us and jumped back up the ship and called out other bullymongs to attack us. "Oh GOD! They're coming outta the wall-sphincters!" Claptrap screwed from the back of the area. Before the first bullymong could get out of the wall Zero was already fileting on it. Knuckle Dragger eventually jumped back down as all the other bullymongs were dealt with. All 5 of us were firing on him as he was getting close to dying Maya through a grenade that was in one of the frozen piles to kill the large bullymong. 

        "Woohoo! If you would retrieve my eye for me, I'd be grateful. Oh, and I apologize for saying 'wall-sphincters'. I say that a lot when I'm frightened." Claptrap said to Maya as she gave him his eye. "Now we just gotta find someone to put it back into me. Much as I'm sure you'd like to jam your fist into my skull, optic surgery is best left to professionals – my pal Hammerlock in Liar's Berg can fix me up! Allons-y!" Claptrap congrats as he rolls towards the Hyperion ship. "So who won the bet, Salvador had the most kills, while I came in second." Zero said as we followed Claptrap. "I agree with Zero. Salvador had the most with Zero in second, me and Axton tied, and Maya came in last, but she killed the boss." I said. "But we all agree I had the most kills. The next gun is mine" Salvador said proudly as we caught up with Claptrap. "Liar's Berg's on the other side of this Hyperion barge. What say we cut through it, chum? HA! This door's Hyperion tech – child's play! Aaaaaaand OPEN!" Claptrap said as the door started to scan him. "Intruders detected. Locking doors." The AI of the barge says as the doors lock. We all stare intensely at Claptrap as he tries to lighten the mood. "Well, it was nice knowing ya! I hear getting eaten alive by Bullymongs isn't such a bad way to go." Before he could continue Angel opens the door, while executing a phase shift. 

       With the door open we all finally got out of the freezing wind of the glacier. In the center of the room a red chest comes out of the floor. "It's my lucky day amigos." Salvador says as he opens the chest to see a double barrel Jakobs shotgun. We are already to Clean up Liar's Burg
