The love and sincerity that surrounded every word he spoke to me were worth every silly childhood dream I ever had. I touched his face gently, feeling his soft scales warm under my hands.
“Tohr, I couldn’t care less about wedding days. All I want is you,” I swore to him. “I will be here forever, and even death will never part us. Especially if my Draygana has anything to say about it.”
I felt my Draygana rise just a bit to echo those sentiments then drop away again.
Tohr chuckled and allowed me a moment to feel his Draygon pop out so I could feel his hunger and approval.
