Something allured me down in the forest, scattering my senses around. The aroma that entered my nose was calling me forward. I had been camping in the cave for a while now, and I was starting to get hungry, continuously flailing and juggling on the ground for the pit that was my stomach.

Ever since I became a half-demon... I yearned for meat, always getting hungry at the mention.

Thus making it impossible to survive without learning to hunt -- As the glossy state of my head was getting worse by the day, I felt I was turning more animal-like than demon-like.

"I thought I was supposed to be a demon, not a werewolf,"

As much as I hated to admit it, the extending fingertips were more werewolf-like than a demon. Wait for a second. Since when did I take pride in being a demon? Damn this system, already corrupting my mind -- You should give me experience instead.

I sighed a deep mist, still at the tail of the aroma.

"Now, where is that little deer?"

I was, hunting deer for about 4-days now, as I also needed to stockpile meat, but having three deer amidst all the dangers of a forest wasn't good if you were going camping, making me cover up the smell with feces, which, oh boy was not exquisite.

I still have the smell on my nose, but it has to do.

I tip-toed around the bushes, glancing at the area of the smell. I took out the bag I snatched from the family that fed me dinner. Carefully getting the deer bait down, I wiped my forehead.

"That should do."

I had precisely scattered the grass and other leaves deers eat. I first had to watch their diets, but now that I can survive, a good day was wasted. I relocated back to a nearby bush. Even though my physique was not the best, I could always rely upon swift movement to snare them in.

At last, I was ready. Soon as something rattled around the trees, I stiffened my back.

The events that followed were a tragedy. The deer was already running when I carried on from his predator, making me a side dish. Taking me a while to figure it out, but I already went running after it with a swift movement, being able to catch its tail, making it wobble on its balance. Glancing at its eyes, I buried my thumb deep between them. A roar was heard from a distance after the deer's weeps.

"Grrhhh"

Something was coming, and it was big... But still, my whole body was covered in blood. There was no way I could yank myself into the bushes to hide. What kind of bullshit situation was this?

Everything went on too fast here. First of all, I was reincarnated with nothing making me live in the slums, and just when I got a hint of power, I was thrown down amidst the forest as a bottom feeder. Could it be worse? I doubt it.

I felt a cold breeze spreading through my body. My legs shimmered with a coaxed light heating up the shivers. I took up the bag putting it down in my arm.

"Here we go!"

I spun my feet at mock 20, my feet imprinting on the mud trail, tingling a dull ache on my head. Everything was blurry when I was running. As everything seemed to slow down, I looked over my shoulder, seeing a tiger with his mouth exposed, blood fresh on the teeth.

A wave of air threw me upwards. I looked at the benevolent blue sky and the gently floating carpets of water. I sighed as I never wanted to fly more than I ever did.

Those 0.3 seconds felt like my entire life. Finally breathing in the new world, my head was a balloon, and I was inflated by its flow, my feet burning through the sky with the pressure of gravity consumed beneath my feet.

"Beautiful," I said to the scene, almost as if it was alive.

But now, how was I supposed to land? I completely forgot...

Once again, the world reminded me of how shitty it was, finding myself open diving through the air.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa" I screamed with a mighty roar.

I grabbed the notification mid-air, my waterworks dropping down in the sky.

"WHO THE HELL SAID I WAS EXCITED!?"

How was I supposed to survive without that damn transformation! No normal human being can do that, and not a weak-ass teenager, that's for sure.

"Just how can I survive without the system's power!"

I was on the slope between the underworld and the overworld, ready to close my eyes to the deep dark chambers.

But at the perfect time, a notification popped up, telling me how useful it could be.

The system assured my survival with a single skill, making an enormous and wide grin appear on my giddy little face.

A man was venting his anger on the table, holding his aching head, and a man in black overalls and a whale-like physique waited for his turn. "003! How did you manage this, A KID!"

He punched the metal table, making the entire facility rumble, as 003 watched from behind.

"Sir, something went in my code. I was unable to control," 003 bowed at the presence of a higher being to him.

The man seemingly popped a vein or two, his head becoming beet red as smoke visibly came out, It was not the best day for him, as he lost a part of the halo.

"Sir?"

003 asked as the man glared at him.

"003 I don't care what you do! But if you do not bring me that boy, you are to be experimented on like 002, DO YOU HEAR ME!"

003 flinched hearing the world 002, as it was taboo for them to talk about it, this was serious and he knew it.

"I will bring my squad, I shall come with victory."

003 walked away with a crusty face.
