Her First Date Part 1

The next day, Viola decided to see the princess. Since she had been around the tree alone before, Viola figured she could find out if she had noticed anything strange. The training schedule had been changed due to preparations that were being made for Briswold Academy's upcoming tournament. Although there was a looming threat over the kingdom, in order to avoid inciting public suspicion and panic, they tried to make things appear as normal as possible. The Briswold Academy's tournament was an event that the citizens looked forward to each year. The men of Training Ground 20 had many duties this year including organizing the tournament's activities, approving vending locations, co-ordinating the overseers for each event among others but they didn't mind these responsibilities. They were happy to be of use plus they would get an increase in salary for the additional duties. Naturally, the princes and Viola were exempt from these duties but could participate if need be. Captain Brigg, however, didn't allow it. He decided to show everyone that the soldiers of Training Ground 20 were capable enough to complete their tasks.

Before Viola could knock on the princess's door she was met with one of the maids. After greeting Viola she let her know that the princess had left much earlier. The princess would be participating in the tournament for the first time so it seemed as though she was putting in as much time training as she could. Viola left reluctantly. On her way back to her room Viola saw the Crown Prince. The moment he saw her, his dim face lit up. He rushed over to her like an excited child. Although he wasn't formally dressed, it was obvious that he took some time in choosing his outfit.

"Is something wrong?" asked Viola.

William calmed down and took a breath before responding. "Oh no. There's nothing wrong. Things are actually going pretty well."

With that response Viola continued to walk towards her room.

"Uh- Viola wait!" William rushed in front of Viola to stop her.

"I thought you said there was nothing wrong…" Viola stated bluntly.

William wasn't used to this situation. Things were starting to get awkward.

"I actually… I want to spend some time with you. Just the two of us…"

Although William tried to appear confident he couldn't hide his flushed face from Viola.

"I don't think that would be appropriate. I should remain close to Alexander."

"Oh, yeah. You're his Blossom afterall…"

"Since you understand, I'll take my leave."

"No, wait! You're right you should remain close to Alexander but since you two synced then you can sense if he's in danger right? So there wouldn't be an issue. Plus if people find out that you're actually synced with him and not me then that would cause trouble for him and the King, so really us being seen together would be a good thing."

Viola couldn't deny that his words held some truth.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt. I'll change then we can leave."

Viola went to her room to get changed. As soon as the door closed, William jumped with his fist raised. He couldn't contain himself. He began to smile from ear to ear. He then realized his outfit would get wrinkled so he quickly straightened his clothes.

Inside Viola's room, another fit of excitement was taking place.

"My Lady, you can't wear just anything to go on a date with the Crown Prince! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! I can't believe this is happening. My most beautiful perfect lady and the Crown Prince. I can't believe it, I can't believe it, I can't believe it. I thought it would be the Second Prince but I guess he's not interested or maybe it's both. Oh my, a spicy forbidden romance between my lady and the two princes. It's as though I'm in the middle of an erotic drama and I'm the one who'll help my lady with her trysts. My poor heart can't take it. Should she wear this, no this. Well she looks great in anything but it can't be too flashy. My Lady is elegant and enchanting. She can even make women love her."

"What's a date?" asked Viola.

Delia slowly turned to face Viola. She sped over to Viola and grabbed her hands.

"Oh my, my sweet pure lady.. In a case like this, it would've been great to have Miss Amelia here but since we're in a time crunch I'll do my best. Don't worry my lady. You can depend on me!" said Delia with a determined expression.

Delia managed to find the perfect outfit for Viola and while helping her get changed she explained what a date was.

"So if someone asks you on a date it means they like you like you and want to have babies with you?"

"That's right! It's like when animals choose a partner to mate with. As a result of the feelings they have towards the one they want to be their partner they first need to impress them before they can get consent to have babies. Since the Crown Prince wants to go on a date with you he must really like you my lady." said Delia while brushing Viola's hair.

"Then does that mean I should have babies with the Crown Prince?"

"Huh!? Oh no my lady. Well I mean you can but no what am I saying! You don't 'have to' do anything that you don't want to my lady. Your feelings are just as important as his. If you ever feel pressured or forced then you can kick him in the balls my lady!"

"I never imagined those words coming from your mouth," said Viola as she laughed.

Delia finished up Viola's hair, leaned over and hugged her. "Hmph! When it comes to my lady I can say or do anything. I'll always be on my lady's side no matter what or against who."

Viola leaned into Delia's arms, closed her eyes and smiled. It was a comforting warmth.

After some time, Viola and Delia came out of the room. William who had tried to maintain a certain image of cool and calm had his image immediately crumbled. He was stunned by Viola's angelic appearance.

"You look amazing," said William.

"Thank you, Your Highness," said Viola in a formal tone.

William outstretched his arm. At first Viola looked on in confusion. Delia then gestured to Viola to interlock arms. Viola followed and left with William, arm in arm. Delia smiled like a proud mother as she watched the two. A few moments later, Alexander walked out from the corridor. Watching as they moved further away. Delia was taken by surprise at his sudden appearance.

"Oh, Second Prince, did you want to speak with my lady?"

"No, it's nothing Delia. Don't tell her I was here, please…" said the Second Prince before walking away.

Delia could tell there was something wrong but didn't dare ask. As he left, Delia noticed a few petals on the floor. She stepped out to go after him but realized it was best to leave things as they were.

While William and Viola were out for their date, Princess Cecilia was at a secluded field training. She was drenched in sweat, could barely stand but kept going. For the upcoming tournament, failure was not an option.
