"Kaydon, this is wrong," I whispered to my husband while watching the exchange ceremony between Erin and Rebel. "What will Raven feel? What if she finds something wrong? What if she suddenly decided to come home and find out everything? Babe, I'm scared."

"I'll deal with her, Blanch. Focus on the wedding before Ceona suspects something. The last thing we can do is to keep this a secret."

Kaydon intertwined his fingers into mine to calm me down, but it didn't help me. I'm a pure breed wolf like the King and the other wolf shifters who attend this marriage. I don't smell the scent of my mate. Although I feel a little electricity whenever I touch Kaydon, it doesn't compare to the she-wolves who met their mate.
