Birthday Round Up

Jackson and I made our way out of Ravenwood mansion. We walked slowly on the beach and we were just enjoying each others company. "You wouldn't believe what my mom put me through today" Dahlia stated. Jackson looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "I can avenge your honor, Luna" Jackson said. "Stop playing around! Even though it was torturous, I feel amazing" Dahlia said. "I won't lie to you, you definitely have a different glow about you, that I haven't seen before" Jackson replied. "Thanks, Jackson. I'm still really worried and scared about today" Dahlia stated. "I remember when Timmothy and I had our first shift. We were both in a lot of pain, but the pain was short lived. We were only 5 when it happened" Jackson replied. "When, you were... Five?!" Dahlia asked. "Yes, when we were born, our mother died in child birth, thus triggering our curse. We just happened to make our first shift when we turned 5. Everyone's 1st shift after triggering their curse is always different" Jackson stated. "I didn't know that, Thank you for sharing with me" Dahlia stated. "No problem" Jackson stated. "Jackson... How are you doing, I'm mean how are you really doing?" Dahlia asked. "Umm, well... it's still really hard and I miss him like crazy. Let's not talk about it, today is your day" Jackson replied. "I don't care about "my day" I care about the people around me" Dahlia said with a hint of frustration. "I know, but I want to focus on you and being there for you Luna" Jackson said. "I know you want to be there for me but only I can face my shift head on" Dahlia said. "Just know I'll do whatever I can to protect you Luna" Jackson said. He's such a great guy and I'm glad I have him on my side. We reach the water mirror and the pack greets us. "Luna! Happy Birthday!" They chime. "Thank you all, I will be looking forward to spending my big night with everyone. We must hurry though" Dahlia stated. "Yes Luna" members of the pack spoke with a bow and let us by. We make our way towards the barracks. Once we arrive at the barracks, I can hear a bunch of commotion. "Hurry up! it doesn't take that long!" someone said. "We have to get going soon" another voice said. Jackson opens the barracks doors and I try not to laugh at my royal guards. I see the guards in chaos, some half dressed, some staring at their celebrations clothes. Jackson and I are nearly cackling at them. "Luna!" Paige yells with just her undergarments showing. "Come here, let us help you" Dahila said. "Jackson, we have a priority mission right now to save the guards from their attire" Dahlia said. "As you wish!" Jackson says. "Fall in, with your attire!" Jackson yells again. The squad runs and trips over themselves while trying to line up in attention, it's the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. "Jackson, help the guys and I'll help the ladies and we will meet in the middle" Dahlia states. We rush over to the troops. I help; Phoebe, Mavis and Paige get their stockings on, and then help them slip into their dresses. The women had matching dresses. Halter top, knee length black and red laced dresses. Once I help the girls get their stockings and dresses on, I help them zip the back up and place their selected jewelry on. I take the liberty and go to their make up bag and apply basic mascara and eyeliner. "Wow!" I didn't know I could look like that!" said Phoebe. "You three look amazing" Dahlia said. "Now let's do something with your hair" Dahila said. I brush out their hair and I give all three of them French braids. "Oh wow!" Paige states. "You look amazing, I don't know too many makeup or hairstyles, but I know how to French braid and do the basics. I hope you like it" Dahlia stated. "We love it!" The girls said. "I'm sure Jackson has his hands full with the guys, I'm going to go help them" Dahlia stated. "It was a good choice choosing flats by the way" Dahlia told her three female guards as she turned to go help Jackson. You would never have guessed that she could make her royal guards blush so easily. Dahlia walks over to the guys. "I'm here for back up!" Dahila says to Jackson. "Thank God, I'm struggling here!" Jackson said flustered. "I can see that" Dahlia says chuckling. "I'd rather be strung up with silver" Jared sneers making Dahlia laugh even more. "Stop being so dramatic, you button the shirt like this, and you tie your tie this way" Dahlia says as she demonstrates. Jared watches with great intensity. The other male soilders take note of her instructions and start copying her step by step process. "There look at you guys, you all look amazing!" Dahlia beamed. "Thanks for going all out for me" Dahlia stated again. Dahlia stood there in amazement at her well dressed royal guards. The women, in the red and black laced dresses, and the men in there all black suits with their hair left wild. "Here your missing this" Dahlia stated as she picked up the tray of 9 roses and 3 rose corsages. She pinned a rose to each of her male guards and slipped a corsage on each of her female guards wrists. "Perfect" Dahlia said as she looked to Jackson as he nodded in agreement. "Luna! Look at the time, we need to head back to the main kitchen as your mother's instructions" Jackson said panicked. "Oh, calm down, we still have 15 minutes to get back on time if we all leave now" Dahlia stated. "Let's roll out! Jackson said. On that note, we made our way out of the barracks and we made our way to the water mirror. The pack members had taken the time to get ready for the celebration as well. Everyone looked so amazing and they're doing it for me.
