Chapter 1 A New Apocalypse
Jason stands on a hill wearing a protective suit with a gas mask on his face a rifle in his hand he looks at a geiger counter it ticks slowly the needle slightly moving.
He watches a two headed deer graze on some grass his radio comes to life "Jason you there" he pushes a button that is connected to his radio "yeah I'm here it's a false alarm no undead just a deer eating."
"Okay come back Chloe out" Jason stands up he walks back down a destroyed path dead trees are to his left and right as he gets to a hatch he sees a camera look at him he nods and the hatch opens.
Jason goes down some stairs to a decontamination room he is showered in a liquid and is then exits to a locker room he takes off his suit he's got much older now 36 he's got a slight black beard and his hair is pulled back he wear a wedding ring on his ring finger he found these in the waste lands him and Samantha got married a few years back.
He goes out of the locker room to bunker Zeta everyone is at home as it's close to Halloween and it's school holidays so it's just mostly teens roaming around.
Jason goes to his home and enters his home he walks past a few wedding photos and a few pictures of him and Samantha holding two kids that look like them he goes in the kitchen two see two teenage girls one with black hair and the other with sandy blonde.
They eat breakfast Grace eats some eggs and looks up her sandy blonde hair tied up the oldest off the two her bright blues and glasses sit on her head she looks like she could be Samantha's sister she smiles at her Dad while Anna is a bit more looking like Jason her dark brown eyes glued to a book on about the undead her black hair dyed with purple tips she has some freckles on her cheeks and nose she give him a slight wave.
Jason kisses Grace on the top of her head and rubs Anna's head slightly messing up her hair Jason goes over to the kitchen and sees Samantha in it she is drinking some coffee she smiles when seeing him she wears Jason's shirt and some jeans.
They kiss "good you're back how was it?" Jason grabs a coffee mug taking a sip the nice taste of coffee invades his mouth "just another deer haven't seen any undead in a while."
Samantha nods learning against him Grace gets up rushing to the door "bye guys love you come on Anna" Anna groans "fine I'm coming" Jason turns to Samantha "where are they off to honey" Samantha shrugs "I think their off to meet up with their friends."
Jason sighs Grace and Anna walk side by side Anna wears a long sleeved checkered shirt with ripped jeans and Grace wears a purple varsity jacket that has a black panther on the back that has the number 5 on it with a blue shirt under it she wears some jeans as well.
Anna has always been shy she is only been a closed off person expect around her family but Grace is the popular girl but her best friend was always Anna.
They get to a diner that has auntie Chloe and Amelia they are cooking some food for some people Chloe sees her nieces walk in "hey girls she walks over to them and gives them a hug."
"Hey girls the same as always?" they both say "yes" at the same time "two spicy burritos and fries coming up your friends are over at your guys spot."
The two girls went here all the time they get freebies from their aunties and they take full advantage of it they go over to a table where a couple hold hands while eating a burger and onion rings and a guy with round glasses looks out the window they all sit on a circular seat The couple is Bonnie and Andrew they are close friends to the sisters and the guy with round glasses his name is Matthew he is Anna's best friend he's the only one who actually can make a long conversation with her.
Grace suspects he's got a crush on Anna but because Anna is extremely anti social she doesn't even notice a thing poor guy she thinks.
They sit down Anna sits next to Matthew while Grace is next to her "hey guys what's up" Andrew smiles while waving at them Bonnie munches on a burger giving them a friendly wave Matthew waves shyly at Anna while she smiles at him.
They engage in small talk when Bonnie clears her throat "hotty twelve o'clock" Grace looks in her friends direction and sees Blake walk in he's a warrior panther at school who put on shows and kill zombies he's a very handsome guy and Grace has a massive crush on his.
Grace sees him look at him he waves at her and gives her a slight smile she looks away blushing Anna giggles at her.
Blake walks over Grace is freaking out "hey um Grace right?" she nods hiding her face with her hands "I'm Blake" she thinks to herself I know who you "I was wondering if you would like to go to my party on Halloween you can bring your friends if you want."
Grace is lost for words Anna speaks up "she would love too come over to the party" Blake smiles "cool see you then" he walks back to his group Chloe comes over to them with their food "careful girls it might be fun but boys will be boys and try and get in your pants just ask Bonnie."
Bonnie nearly spits out some soda but she nods in agreement Grace just keeps giving Blake a glance she is freaking out he asked if she wanted to come to his party.
