12 The Perfect Match

Ken immediately smiled at Lidya's words. "Alright. I'll follow your wishes. I'll make this a battle for you and I'm sure I'll win my battle with him." Ken was optimistic that he would be able to defeat Ardy.

"Are you one hundred percent sure that you will be able to beat Ardy?" Lidya asked once again.

"I'm very sure, Lidya."

"Okay. Then win me tomorrow, just like you won my heart."

Ken nodded in response to Lidya's words.

"It's a little after office hours. I want you to take a quick shower in the office bathroom and put on these clothes." Lidya handed him the bundle she had taken from her bag. "I hope it fits you well. I'm just guessing. I hope it fits."

Ken opened the package and found a branded shirt inside. "What am I wearing these clothes for?"

"I want you to accompany me. In the evening, there's an event at my house and it's the first time I've brought a girlfriend to my house in a long time, so your presence is very important to me."

"But, what if I embarrass you?"

"I'm taking care of your transfer from cleaning service to become a stockbroker under me. You'll be on my team. Maybe tomorrow or the day after, you'll be able to join my team, so you won't embarrass me. Besides, even if you're still in the cleaning service, so what? I look at your heart, not at your job. That's what I'll say to everyone who looks down on you."

Hearing that, Ken became very happy. He was happy because he felt honored because with Lidya's words, Lidya's sincere heart for him was proven. "Alright. Then, I will. I'll go to your house."

"Okay. I'll wait for you at my house at 7 o'clock, tonight."

At 7 o'clock, Ken was already walking to Lidya's house. Ken, who had gone straight to the big house behind Lidya's house that Tony had just rented, now didn't need to use his motorcycle to get to Lidya's house.

Instead, Ken walked around because even though the house he rented was right behind Lidya's house, but, since the two houses were both in the middle, Ken had to walk around first to get to Lidya's house.

There were 5 houses that Ken had to pass on the road in front of his new house before he finally reached the road in front of Lidya's new house. There are already many luxury cars parked around the front of Lidya's house.

Just as Ken was about to go inside, he was suddenly stopped by Haras, one of Ardy's friends.

"Where are you going, huh?" Haras glared at Ken. "You can't come in! This is a special event, cleaning services can't come in. Unless you want to clean the toilet!"

Ken watched as Haras raised his fist, ready to launch it at Ken. With just one look, Ken already knew that Haras' stance was very weak.

Ken had seen an open ditch near Lidya's next-door neighbor's house, so Ken let Haras come to him and when he was at the right distance, Ken came forward and when Haras threw a punch with all his might, Ken ducked to avoid the punch from Haras.

Then Ken's feet came into play, he slid into Haras' right leg while pushing Haras' body to the right until, sure enough, Haras' body plunged into the open gutter of his neighbor Lidya's house.

Haras was so shocked but he couldn't escape anymore, his body successfully entered the ditch whose water was already blackened.

Ken moved into Lidya's yard without paying any attention to Haras. After that, Ken saw Lidya who looked beautiful in a party dress and seemed to be waiting for Ken near her luxury car.

Ken immediately approached Lidya. Ken felt confident because the shirt and jeans he was now wearing, which was a gift from Lidya, fit Ken's body so well that he was not embarrassed to be with Lidya.

"You're very beautiful, Lidya," Ken said while looking at Lidya's face, when he was right in front of Lidya.

"This is what I wanted to hear all along."

"What do you mean?"

"Since I've been wearing this outfit, there have been a few guys complimenting me but, I don't like their compliments."

"Why is that?"

"Because there's only one person I want to compliment me and that person is you," Lidya said as she looked at Ken.

Ken looked back at Lidya and even held Lidya's hand. "I feel like it's a great honor to be the only person you want to compliment you."

Two pairs of eyes looked at each other. Two hearts were becoming more and more united. They both became more and more convinced of the love in their hearts for the person they were currently gazing at.

Ken was increasingly convinced of Lidya's love for him. In the past, Ken had been with two women whose love was fake, both of whom only praised Ken's wealth, only praised Ken's family status but actually never loved Ken sincerely so they easily turned to other men.

With Lidya, Ken felt he was treated differently. With Lidya, Ken felt he was very special, because Lidya liked Ken even though Lidya knew Ken had nothing, even though Lidya knew Ken was just a cleaning service with a blurry future.

"Let's go inside." Lidya took Ken's hand and led him with her to the living room of her family. Lidya's family's house was quite spacious and luxurious. The living room on the first floor was large and there was also a staircase connecting to the second floor living room.
