Chapter 18

*Get lost*

Damon's POV

*Two days later*

It's been two days since the detective has been searching for the strange girl but all two no avail. I've also tried looking for her myself but it looks like she just disappeared from the face of the earth completely.

I really don't know what to do honestly. Aria has told me to stop looking for her but I refused. My conscience wouldn't let me be until I see that girl in person and apologize to her.

I know my apology won't change anything but at least, I will be able to get a huge burden off my shoulders if she could forgive me.

The ringing of my phone jolted me back to life and I checked the caller ID to see it was the detective.

"Could he have found something?" I thought and picked the call at once

"Did you find her?" I asked hurriedly

"No, we didn't. We checked the people that left the country recently but there's no sign of her. I really don't think she exists because we don't know where to search anymore" he said with a sigh
