A little while later the manager came down to receive them. The receptionist was surprised to see this but she was quick to apologize before she lost her job due to her ignorance. Seeing this, Mr. Shawn frowned a little, and he was about to call her out. But when Melody didn't seem to care, he did not ask about it and focused his attention on them.
"I am so sorry that I couldn't come earlier. Had I known about your visit I would have waited at the door for you," He said but Melody just stared at him without uttering a word. "Forgive any inconveniences you may have experienced," he went further to say.
"That is alright," Melody said. She was done examining the man. He was not bad in her eyes. He just lacks confidence. "Lead the way, I do not wish to stand the whole time while I am here."
