When Nina told him that the house they were in was his true home, as that place was full of good memories, he thought it was time to return her home.
Before, he didn't worry about it, because that house was small, it was in the suburbs and now, he could give Nina mansions anywhere in the world she wanted, however, after the conversation they had, he thought that the house could have a value that money could not pay.
This realization became true, now that he realized how upset Nina seemed, upon discovering the truth.
Nina was used to accessing his notebook. He had allowed it on the first day he worked at Bright Corporate, and it became so natural that not even Dominic was aware that she could end up seeing his email exchange with the finance company.
