"It's okay, you will be fine. You just need to face life with an upbeat attitude."
The bartender told me as he tried to comfort me.
I cleaned my tears and nodded.
"Now, drink a glass of water, it will make you sober up a little." he advised.
I took the glass from him and drank it.
"Thanks for listening." I told him.
"You are welcome."
"What's your name?" I asked him.
He smiled, "it's probably best you don't know and I don't know your name too. You look like a influential woman. It's best we don't know anything about each other to avoid any scandal."
I nodded, this was good advise. I shouldn't have even come here in the first place. Now that I was a bit clear minded, I could see the folly of my actions.
What if someone had photographed me here? It would only put me in another scandal again, I didn't have the time for that now.
My phone rang, I dug it out of my handbag. It was my mom.
