The official move

DAY 1

She arrived the following Monday morning, which will be her official move into the residence. Phina gets up at five in the morning as usual. At that point, she gets up at home with her brother to help her clean and make breakfast before heading out to wake the twins and prepare them for school.

However, when she awoke, the bed was unusual and smelled odd.

Frowning, she scanned the room, attempting to figure out where she was. Then she realized she was far from her house or her comfortable bed. Her potent perfume from yesterday was still in the room. Its scent is distinct from her go-to perfume.

She realized she had nothing to do around the house as she got to her feet. Everything was orderly. It wouldn't take her a minute to sweep the room because it wasn't dirty.

She resumed her packing where she had left off the day before. She went to the bathroom with her bathing supplies and shower cap. It was still early, so she decided to head downstairs to see if there was anything she could help with after making the bed and taking a bath. It is unfamiliar for her to sit and do nothing. She believes she will turn into a sloth if she doesn't do it.

She went downstairs, noticed the kitchen had been mopped recently, perhaps some minutes ago, and turned to avoid stepping on it. She took a seat in the dining room and took in her surroundings. The house is beautifully furnished and enormous. Everything was tidy and glittering. There is light on the stairwell floor. The chandeliers in the home are unlike anything she has ever seen, save for those in motion pictures.

She realized there were two living rooms as she discreetly made her way to the other side of the home. Though the colors and décor differed, it was as nicely furnished as the first one. It had white and black décor. The TV and armchair were both black and white.

She was in awe of the house's architecture as she stood there. She never thought she would enter a home like this.

The most unexpected part was that just one man owned it. He is also a bachelor and unmarried.

The house would still have privacy even if her entire family moved in. In the home, someone could become lost.

She sat in front of the white armchair on one of the black ones. Unlike the first room she had been in since moving into the house, this one appears to be used infrequently. If only her sibling could witness this. She would like to show him. His dream was to become an engineer to construct their father's mansion. He also enjoyed admiring well-executed architecture.

She hoped it was under a different situation. As in... if her partner is Patrick. Not a phony one. She wouldn't mind spending leisure time with her brother and twin sisters.

She started crying at the prospect. Her desire had always been to have her family at her side when she succeeded.

However, this is not a feat. The idea crossed her mind. She concurred. It's not. Everything about it is false. It's only a front.

It's just a transaction.

Gradually, she got up and returned to the kitchen. The floor had dried out already. She liked the kitchen accoutrements. Everything was finished. Two refrigerators stood on their feet. One white, one black. She could see into the black one because it was completely illuminated. It was firmly stuck in place.

The large kitchen island is constructed from genuine marble. The kitchen is filled with white and black wooden cabinets. A few have wine glasses, mugs, bowls, and glassware. She didn't open the remaining ones to check what was inside. The floor cupboard appears to be made of stainless steel. There is a freestanding oven underneath two gas cookers.

Along with an electric cooker, the other one is on the island. Neatly and orderly, a coffee maker, toaster, and electric mixer for the kitchen stand were positioned next to each other. as well as the spoon rack. There were various sets of spoons and a knife; everything was new and worn. In addition, there is a small circular table in the kitchen with two seats that can be used to sit on while working and a standing fan facing the table.

She laughed in shock at that. That kitchen was a woman's fantasy come true. She pondered.

What the power of money can do! Silently, she told herself.

Just as she was going to open the transparent refrigerator, Sara—the woman she now knew lived in his home as Patrick's housekeeper—entered the kitchen. She had a mop stick and bucket with her.

She whispered, "Good morning."

"Good morning," grinned Phina in response. "How was your night?"

The girl shot her an odd look and then grudgingly answered. "Fine. What do you want to do? You can't open that fridge without taking permission from Mr Ricky."

"What? Why?" She inquired.

She growled, "It's none of your concern. What are you even doing here?"

Really?

Even now, she is conversing with her informally. Phina pondered.

She doesn't care and isn't taking offense at that. She is most likely a year or two older than the girl, or they were almost the same age. She is speaking to her angrily and her anger irritates me, though.

Phina said, "Why are you talking to me that way?" but ignored it. "Whatever. What are you cooking? I want to help."

"I don't need help. I will do the cooking myself." She said. And she left with the bucket and the mop stick.

Phina gasped with surprise. She went back to the kitchen. She decided to ask again.

"I want to cook. I want to do something."

She turned away from her work and looked at Phina. "Fine. You can cook all you want. Enter through that door, and the food store is there. You can decide what to cook. And when you want to cook, add the gateman and the two security men dishes to it."

Phina grinned and added, "No problem. That is what you should have said. I hate staying idle."

Sara, though, only scoffed and turned to go.

She prepared fried eggs and plantain for everyone's breakfast. It was already 6:15 when Patrick went down the stairs by the time she finished arranging the meal on the dining table. He was wearing a black suit already. His tie and shirt were both black.

Though strange to say, it looked great on him. Phina got up to acknowledge the man standing in front of her. His body was precisely fitted into the suit, with little room for waste. She'd also noted that he's a massive fan of black.

"Good morning," she said with a smile.

She was no longer aware of what had occurred the day before. She is not the kind to process things deeply, so it doesn't imply that it doesn't harm her. She was done talking to him about what was on her mind. It was finished.

He stared at her and then at the food arranged on the table without saying anything.

"I made you breakfast. There is little to do here. So I decided to help Sara with the cooking." He said.

He took a car key from the table and left, growling, "I never ask you to. She is my maid, not you. And I don't eat breakfast."

Phina was stunned. The news that she just received is unbelievable. Not even a thank-you was said. Her kind act even annoyed him. And he spoke to her as if she didn't exist.

She saw that despite his affluence and considerable age advantage over her, he didn't need to make fun of her. It was impolite. At the very least, he is amiable and kind.

She wiped away her tears and sat down carefully in one of the chairs. Is that how unworthy he considered her to be? She pondered.

"Has Mr. Patrick gone?" Sara asked as she entered.

Phina sneered and shot a scowl.

She said, "I asked you a question. Which that looks on your face?"

Phina asked, "Why didn't you tell me he doesn't eat breakfast?"

Sara snorted. "Aren't you supposed to know Miss's Fake girlfriend?"

"What?" Phina blurted out.

"Don't play the high and mighty girl here. I know that you are Mr. Patrick's fake girlfriend. And don't blame me if you didn't know. But what I know is this. We both work for Mr. Ricky." She replied with a sneer as she left.

Phina covered her face with her palms and closed her eyes. Patrick was entirely to blame. She will never see the lady on the street and have her mistreated. She had the advantage of doing so because of Patrick. So, she is not to blame.

She returned to the kitchen to serve the food to the security guards and the gateman.

She went to offer them their meal at seven in the morning. They ask her who she is after being exceedingly astonished. She smiled and made light conversation, dodging their questions.

And with that, she returned to her room. She discovered WiFi in the house when she turned on the TV. After setting up the WiFi, she switched the TV to Netflix. It was incredible. The fact that she can select any movie she wants is what I found most astounding, even on YouTube.

She looked up, "Money Heist; a popular series." She left off with episode eight of season two. She then settled in to watch the film while enjoying her biscuits.

She watched until she was exhausted, at which point she went to bed.
