The Billionaire's Daring Prodigy Son

The book has been temporarily paused and is being edited from the very start. Wang Lian has lived with a heavy heart since his childhood. His wealthy family wanted him to become a successful heir, but he was always a different kind of boy with huge ambitions. Growing up under his family's huge influence, he encountered lots of problems. His life was a rollercoaster of emotions; emotional breakdowns, misfortunes, and troubles However, despite everything he had to face, his bravery remained unchanged. ''Tell me who dared to hurt you?'' He asked her. ''Why? Why are you getting so worked up?'' She questioned him back. ''I asked you who did this to you?'' ''So what if I'm hurt? Does it hurt you or make your heart ache or sad? You don't know what exactly you are feeling right now. You have no clue. You are all empty inside. You're just loud. Like an empty can. So don't act like you know everything about me when you know nothing''.

Wang Lian's gaze fell on the carpet which had footprints all over. The servant was also looking at them in surprise as they seemed to come in from the window across the room

''Clean up these footprints''. Wang Lian ordered.

The servant went out. Wang Lian went to the sliding window and opened it. He had figured it out right-the same muddy footprints trooped across the verandah too. Li Yuyan had jumped over the wall in to the flowerbeds and trudged the mud all over. The marks stood on the white marble floor of the verandah. Wang Lian let out a deep breath. He turned to see the servant cleaning the marks on the carpet.

''There are footprints in the verandah as well. Clean them,'' said Wang Lian.

The servant could no longer contain his curiosity. ''Whose foot prints are these?''

''Mine,'' replied Wang Lian abruptly.

He was busy having his dinner when Wang Shu and mother Ru Shi arrived home. Their faces were drawn. Wang Lian continued to eat, unconcerned. They walked past quietly.
