Flashback at the market
"Flower," Dianne replied, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.
"Well, well, look who it is. The holiest girl in the whole world. It's been a while, Flower. I never expected to run into you in such cheap clothes at the market," Dianne jeered, disgust evident in her tone.
"Hey, watch the way you talk to me, bitch," Flower fired back. Dianne used to be one of Flower's closest friends back in school. They both came from similar financial backgrounds, but Dianne had chosen a different path by involving herself with men. She had tried to drag Flower into her lifestyle, but Flower firmly rejected her advances. As a result, Dianne distanced herself from Flower, and their friendship eventually turned into enmity.
