"Why can't you come back? My heart beats only for you. Your sight alone quenches my thirst and hunger. CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT

AUTHOR'S POV

"What?" Selena was sure she hadn't heard well. Surely Dera must have gotten high on drugs.

"I went to get some cocaine from Mary's room" She repeated herself innocently as if what she had just said was something very natural that everyone could do.

She descended the stairs carefully, maintaining a proud outward appearance.

"You're very stupid to say such a thing" Selena pointed a finger at her as she took a seat to pull out some defensive words for Mary. She couldn't let Dera wrongly accuse her

"I do not understand. What, in the statement I just made, makes me stupid?" She looked around with a contorted expression, smiling a bit when her confused eye met Mary's dejected look.

"Everything Dera, Everything," Selena answered, "How could you try to pin something of such great magnitude on Mary?" She was fuming, wondering how much worse Dera could be.
