The Battle Of The Demon Siblings

In the ever-unfolding tapestry of life, circumstances occasionally dictate that conflicts arise, even among those bound by the bonds of kinship. In this crucible of adversity, the question looms large: will any among them choose to unite and confront their collective challenges, or will they opt to face their trials individually? Each of these siblings finds themselves confronted with their own arduous battle, each imbued with a distinct purpose. For some, the impetus lies in their eternal quest for change, an undying ambition that propels them forward. Others are driven by an insatiable hunger for power, seeking dominance over their chosen realm. And yet, there are those whose battles are fought for the sake of love; their motivations rooted in the profound connections that define our human existence. As these siblings navigate their respective journeys, their paths intertwine and diverge in equal measure. Some seek to discover their true nature, to uncover the depths of their being. Others strive to prove their mettle, to demonstrate their worthiness in the face of adversity. From these differing perspectives, the potential for unity or division emerges; a choice that can bind them closer than ever or sow the seeds of animosity. Will their battles drive them to turn completely against one another? Time alone will reveal the path they choose on this journey of self-discovery and affirmation.

*My Power Creature Doesn't Belong To Me:

Slayer stopped pacing and went up to his Bedroom, he had seen through his study window that it had suddenly turned into a rainy day.

He couldn't help but wonder if it was because of his sister that the day turned so gloomy out. When he reached his room he walked out onto his balcony and stood in the pouring down rain with the loud thunder that came with it.

Slayer stared at the Balcony of the room that he now knew his sister was occupying. Wondering how she would react if he would show up on the balcony of her room.

Slayer couldn't help but think that Sinyster working for Vishious was somehow his fault. He couldn't shake the feeling of guilt and shame he felt about how he had treated her the last time he saw her.

†*************************

It had been about two or three decades now since he had received the letter from Sinyster saying that she was in need of some help and she was scared. He didn't leave right away but made sure things were in order in Damns Hollow, he set out to go see his sister about a month later.

He had decided to take Beast along with him on this visit to go see Sinyster.

He didn't know why he didn't go to her right away and took his time, something he would later on regret. It was about a three day trip, taking a carriage to the ocean shore that was closest to her castle in the deepest trench.

When he arrived he noticed how there wasn't anyone to greet them upon their arrival there.

The servant, Derek, who had driven the carriage, hurried and jumped down from his seat to open the door for Slayer and Beast.

"Stay here with the carriage!" Slayer order his servant Derek.

"Yes, Your Majesty," Derek said with his head bowed as he spoke.

Slayer then preceded to walk towards the ocean waters, that wasn't too far off from where they had parked the carriage. Noticing that still they hadn't come across not one person so far.

He didn't usually have to wait for someone to escort him down to his sister's Palace, but this time no one showed up and he noticed how the waters seemed more formidable then usual.

'This is not good, this won't be good if she has turned?' Slayer thought to himself.

The water seemed to have a darker coloration and he could sense that something was wrong.

Slayer and Beast continued to walk the shoreline for awhile, when they suddenly caught sight of something that seemed odd.

Not far from where they now stood, they saw what appeared to be a lot of various colored logs violently crashing into a cliff that they were approaching.

"Beast, Go and fly above the cliff and take a look to see what those are that are crashing into the cliff. Maybe it'll give us some kind of clue or something to what's going on?" Slayer ordered Beast.

Beast did a small bow of his head."Yes, Sir!" He opened and spread his massive bat-like wings wide and in the next moment, Took flight immediately.

Beast circled the cliff twice before Slayer saw him fly down closer to the violent waters for a brief moment before quickly launching himself back up, as if suddenly he feared the water would get him.

A crease formed on Slayer's brow, he didn't like how things were going so far.

Slayer watched as Beast flew quickly back to where he was and landed a couple feet in front of him. Beast, looking concerned and serious, then said, "Sir, those things that's crashing into the cliff by the harsh, relentless waves, aren't logs or anything that we would've guessed... They're bodies of hundreds of dead Merpeople."

"What? how could that many of my sister's people be killed like that? Merpeople aren't easy to kill and are damn near impossible to kill when in fact they're in the water." Slayer didn't understand what could've happened, Sinyster had never killed her people when she turned.

When she turned to be a Merwitch, most of her people would usually turn with her; from Mermaids to Sirens. So Slayer didn't believe that it was his sister who had killed the mermaids.

Also, he knew that the only time that Sinyster would turn into her Merwitch form was when she was in danger or hurt. This bothered Slayer to think that Sinyster could be in serious danger and he had taken his time to show up after receiving his sister's letter asking him to come quickly because she needed his help.

Slayers thoughts were then interrupted by Beast asking what he had just been thinking, "Sir, do you think it's the Merwitch that we'll be dealing with? I haven't sensed any other auras in the area and it's only the merpeoples sent that I'm smelling." Beast said in a flat tone.

"I'll have to chance diving down into the Waters and swim to her Palace, and try to find Sinyster?"' He informed Beast. He had barely finished his sentence when Beast pointed for Slayer to look behind him.

Slayer turned quickly to see a dark illuminating light start rising to the surface. The waves thrashed even higher and more violently then they had been previously.

Suddenly they saw a light come erupting up from the water and into the dark sky, to then suddenly come crashing back down in multiple lighting strikes.

Slayer was still concentrating on the light that was growing bigger and obviously rising towards the surface of the water, when Beast got his attention, "Look, Sir! At the cliff!" Beast said in a voice of confusion and shock.

Slayer turned his head towards the cliff and what he saw even shocked him. The hundreds of dead Merpeople who's bodies were crashing into the cliff, no longer had their bright colors that they had just a few minutes ago, instead they now were dark and dull in color and it was clear to see that they no longer were dead; but they were now alive!

They were so consumed in concentrating on what they were seeing going on with the Merpeople, that they didn't notice right away that something was swimming swiftly towards them.

Suddenly the water became really calm, no longer were the waves thrashing violently around, it was a eerie stillness that came to the waters now.

Slayer and Beast looked at the waters next to them when they suddenly seen a mermaid come slowly up out of the water, she had bright red hair with black streaks going through it. Her forearms had pointy barbed fins that were black with red on the very tips of them, her eyes were outlined with black and her lips were black as well.

Her upper half was only covered by the black shells that covered her chest and her tail looked like it belonged to a snake that had sharp barbs that went down the middle of it. She had a bewitching beauty about her, but in a dark way.

"Where's my sister?"' Slayer demanded from the sea creature, convinced now that they were going to be dealing with the Merwitch Sinyster.

"MiLady, has been expecting you."The creature said in a hypnotizing voice, a snake like tongue came out as she smiled at the two men and suddenly her hair started to wiggle around and Slayer quickly realized that the black streaks in her hair were actually tiny sea snakes.

" She is coming" The Creature said and then slowly started to slither up to where the two men were standing, but never leaving the water.

Suddenly the water came shooting up, making pillars of water that made a pathway going out in the ocean. Slayer then saw Sinyster rising up out of the water a good distance out and all the dark Merpeople that were once dead came swarming to where she was swimming.

Slayer took out his sword and his body started to have flames coming from him. He thought that the Dead Merpeople were gonna try and attack her but then he realized that they were going to her and Staying on the sides so she could swim down the watery Isle that they had made for her.

"What's going on, Sir?" Beast asked in disbelief and confusion. "I thought the only one who controls the dead was Wycked?"

Slayer looked back at Sinyster and he could see she was not herself, she was a Merwitch.

She no longer resembled her usual self. Her hair was now black and she had a similar snake-like tail as the Sea Creature that was still in front of them. The creature's tail was coiling around her body, never leaving the shallow waters it stayed right in front of Slayer and Beast.

But, in contrast to the creature, Sinyster had two serpentine tails that were a deep blue with seaweed green barbs that adorned them. Running along the length of her tails she sported menacing, spear-like pointed spikes.

When she swam up and got to where the other Sea Creature was, Sinyster slithered a little onto the beach and it allowed Slayer and Beast to see that Sinyster when on her tails, that constantly kept coiling around her, was no longer of average human height and now stood about seven feet tall.

Her eyes were now dark purple with black streaks that went through them and her eyes were outlined with black and you could see her fangs that peaked through her lips.

She had deep blue colored shells that covered her chest and she had long sharp pointy nails on her hands. She still held divine beauty but in a dangerous, bewitching way.

She sat on the beach, her serpent-like tails kept coiling and slithering around her body. She waited in the sun for her tails to start transforming into legs. "I honestly thought that you weren't going to come, Big Brother?Sinyster exclaimed with a hint of mockery, her legs now fully formed as she gracefully rose to her feet. A flowing black skirt trailed behind her, gently sweeping the sandy floor.

"What's going on with you Sinyster"? Slayer asked as he pulled the flames that were still coming out of his body back inside himself.

"What do you mean, brother? Is there something that's bothering you?" Sinyster answered in a almost sadistic way, smiling as she said this. Her eyes moving to look behind them towards the water.

Slayer and Beast then turned their heads to look towards the water again and they saw the swarm of Merpeople that had come back to life, were staying just right off shore. 'Are they Zombies?' Slayer thought 'but Sinyster don't have the ability to control the dead, so how is this possible? Is it her or our brother Wycked thats controlling the dead Merpeople?'

"What are you thinking about, brother?" Sinyster said right behind Slayer and Beast, surprising them because when did she get to be so close to them without them Noticing her.

Slayer didn't like how he felt as if he couldn't trust his sister when she was in this form. He could see nothing but cruel intent in her eyes as she stood looking at him with a wicked smile on her face.

"Was it you who killed your own people?" Slayer asked being straight forward with it.

Sinyster giggled a little before she answered his question, " As you can see My people aren't dead.... Anymore."

†**************************

Slayer stopped thinking about what took place that day, for now he recalled enough of the past.

He shook his head and wondered if she had reached out to Vishious to help her this time. 'Did she change again? Did Vishious take advantage of the fact that their sister needed help to change back from her Merwitch state? That she couldn't control it.

He could still hear Sinyster crying to him, ' My power creature doesn't belong to me, brother! I don't want it and it scares me.!'

Slayer's hands balled into fists as he held them on his sides.

' I'm sorry for not being there for you, Sister.' Slayer thought gloomily in his mind. He knew if she did turn to Vishious for help it was his fault, because he made it where she refused to come to him for help again. 'I swear sister that I will make it up to you, for not being there when you needed me.' Slayer said to himself.

He then looked at Sinyster's room one last time before he turned and walked back inside, closing the balcony door behind him.
