Chapter 13 Part 1

The Narrator wakes up in the bedroom of Beluf Alpha the morning after. Beluf and Heddwyn are spooning under the covers of the large queen size bed.

(Narrator) Ugh, what happened?

(Nebulon) You fainted, and at the best part too. Not exactly the cleanest with writing, are you?

(Narrator) I'm so disappointed in myself! At least I caught most of it.

(Nebulon) Nah, they kept going for quite a while. I'll be surprised if they wake up anytime soon.

(Narrator) Let's go find where Christopher is. The sun is up so I suspect he's in the fields.

"Hey, Dime." Christopher calls out, standing in front of the farm.

(Dime) You called, sir?

"Morning Dime. Are you able to harvest and maintain these crops?" Christopher asks curiously.

(Dime) That I can, sir. Would you like me to do so?

"Will it reduce your efficiency?" He says, scratching the back of his head.

(Dime) No matter how many jobs you assign to me, it cannot decrease my productivity, sir.

"Ok, perfect. I would like you to manage the farm from now on. Make a report of the product and store them in some boxes for me."

(Dime) It will be done, sir.

(Narrator) I'm contemplating making Dime just speak through dialogue…Nah, that would be too hard for me to do. Fuck that.

"Oh, you can watch those two again now. I'm sure whatever they got up to last night is done by now." Christopher says. "One last question. Are you able to pass me an item while I'm out in the world?"

(Dime) Certainly, sir. Anything you may only need to call its name to me and I can give it to you.

Christopher smiles widely, greatly pleased with his achievement in creating Dime.

"Wake those two lovebirds up. With any means necessary." Christopher commands.

A high pitched smacking noise erupts from Beluf's house, followed by a loud scream, then confusion, and finally, Heddwyn cusses Dime into oblivion. Dime's text reemerges in front of Christopher telling him they'll be out soon.

Christopher waits for up to half an hour before sending Dime back in. Only to find them fast asleep once more. So another round of whacking it was. This time, it was considerably harder. Almost knocking Heddwyn out the window. Luckily this wasn't the first time Christopher has seen the Nekojin's bare bottom. Heddwyn's distant voice berrates more curse words at the loyal Dimension God, who didn't even care.

Dime appears ahead of Christopher once more declaring a last resort if they fall asleep again. Heddwyn and Beluf emerge from the house another half hour later, groggy and scruffy, not having enough time to brush their fur.

"You too are looking, extra dishevelled this morning. Have a little too much fun last night, reacquainting?" Christopher says, making a circle with one hand and pushing his finger through it.

"Boundaries, Christopher. What did we talk about saying stuff like that?" Heddwyn says, scratching his neck.

Beluf smirks just behind him, giving the boy a thumbs up. "It was so much fun, wasn't it." he says, briskly nuzzling his head into Heddwyn's neck.

"C'mon, Beluf. I'm not going to talk publicly about our private relations." Heddwyn says, sighing deeply.

"Well. it's fairly obvious you've tamed the alpha of a Wolfman pack, dad. You're going to get way more personal questions from them when you finally meet them." Christopher points out. "In any case. I need to head out to the capital to get an audience with the King so I can't leave you guys in here. It'll waste too many resources I dont have right now."

Dime tries to tell him that's incorrect but Christopher swipes him away as fast as his words appear.

Heddwyn and Beluf look at him amused. "Pup, you don't need to lie to us. You do own this place so it's only fair you get to say what goes on inside it." Beluf says, laughing over his words.

After a little deliberation, Christopher says. "Fine, I don't want to stretch the dimension too much right now as this is a new thing. I don't want the two of you to be trapped if the realm tears apart. Even if the chances are negligible, I don't want to risk it."

"That's totally understandable. We decided to join you on this trip as my village isn't too far from there." Beluf adds.

"I'm going right now, I'm going to give the two of you rings just before you leave. And Dime, deny access to everyone except me until we've certified that it's 100% safe across large distances." Christopher says.

Dime confirms the successful communication with the twins and prepares the rings for the lovers as stated. When all of them have left, Christopher places his hand on the door and says, "Close."

"Was that even necessary? I thought Dime does all that stuff for you." Heddwyn asks, shaking the frizz from his fur.

"No, but it felt cool." Christopher replies with a gleaming smile.

(Narrator) I'm just going to skip writing down this trip. If anything interesting happens then I will, but I doubt it.

Thank the gods I didn't manage to jinx it. Christopher arrives at the Capital City of Maranus, Geovana, in about two weeks, looking a little withered and starving. Heddwyn and Beluf have already moved on towards the Wolfman village.

His voice is dry and weak, he's also barely able to stand. Christopher speaks. "I'm finally fucking here." He collapses onto his ass. "Why didnt i buy enough food?" he asks himself.

(Dime) Sir, I think the fact that you have food in your dimension home slipped your mind.

"Oh, right. Now I feel stupid. Pass me an apple please Dime." Christopher says.

A small dimensional tear opens up above his hand and a fresh ripe red apple passes through. Christopher takes a bite and is reinvigorated by the sugary juices as he crunches. A satisfied smile spreads across his face.

"That has to be the best apple I've ever tasted." He exclaims, sighing with satisfaction as he finishes the last bite. "Heather got the apple seed for the tree from the market back over in Nestin. I was surprised to see how different the core was. It's like a peach instead of the apples I know of in Stocaea." He says, staring at the cocoon of apple seeds left behind.

"I don't think I can eat this. Dime, I believe this can go in the compost. Can you put it in there for me?"

Dime opens a gate and Christopher tosses it through.

"It might be a good thing if you learn to predict what I might need at some point, Dime. Don't force yourself to do it. Learn over time."

(Dime) As you wish, sir.

"That's enough rest. Let's make the final stretch. It'll be the first time I get to look at my new house." he says, getting up off the floor and brushing the dirt off him.

At the gate, Christopher asks the guards if they could direct him to Henrence, the name he gave his home in the noble district. At first, the guards didn't recognize the name. Until one of them remembered that King Shavik was expecting him.

"Yeah, I can guide you there kid." the man says. "But we gotta take you to His Majesty afterwards. He has requested that you see him as soon as you can."

"That's not a problem. I only need to see where my house is. We can head directly to the castle after that." Christopher answers, looking closely at the strapping man. "You look kinda young to be a gate guard."

"I just recently joined, a new recruit if you will. I became a full adult a few weeks ago." They blush a little from Christopher's complement. "Let's get you to your house."

The two walk side by side as they make their way through the streets, Christopher sneaks a few glances at the man. This man is Human, which is a little surprising given the general populous of Maranus has a unique variety of everything except humans. But in the capital human residents are about an equal number to all other races.

I got a little off track, but this man is about 6 foot 2 inches tall and has a fairly muscular physique. His face however lacks hair, giving away how young he really is. You wouldn't be able to place his face on his body unless you see it for yourself.

He is wearing the Geovana Guard Uniform. The version of the uniform he is wearing is fully cladded in chainmail and covered in thick brown leather from his shoulders down. He wears a few plates of iron armour protecting his joints, such as the knees and shoulders. He brandishes a long iron spear in his right hand.

His hands are rough and hardened with callouses, showing his effort into his training. His face is handsome, his cheekbones defined and his jawline sharp. He's easy on the eyes with his sculpture-esque nose and bright blue eyes. His uneven spiky blond hair tops it all off into a man no person would refuse a date with. And with his sweet and caring personality, people would be simping for sure.

(Nebulon) I'll bet my last platinum that these two'll be a thing. It's such a good match. The sweet tall one and the harsh shorter one is such a trope I want!

(Narrator) No! Not little Christopher. I won't allow it.

(Nebulon) Christopher will grow into an adult at some point. You gotta let go of this weird fatherly obsession with him. For one, you ain't done shit to raise him. And two, you're not his parent!

(Narrator) Wait. That's how I sound? Oh god. What have I done?

(Nebulon) You've grown attached. To be honest, It's a little creepy.

"So, what should I call you?" Christopher asks.

(Nebulon) So you're just going to ignore that?

(Narrator) Yes.

"Jasyn. You?" Jasyn retorts.

"Christopher." he replies. Blushing a little as he looks away.
