Chapter 11 Part 3

"Amazing. This was the best decision of my life! Can you answer all questions about dimensions?" Christopher asks.

I can.

"Beluf! I have just created The God Of Dimensions!" Christopher says.

Is that what you would like my name to be?

"I-I uh. Lemme think about that one. That's an important decision. Ya know, just naming The God Of Dimensions." Christopher says, pacing. "Harry? Ew, no. Harvey? Ugh, no. What is it with my family and names starting with H. It's literally everyone but Engilram and me. Oh, I know. Gods of our realm are written in Welsh. How about Anfeidrol Dduw or Duw y Dimensiynau. Which is Dimension God or God of Dimensions. Whatcha think?" Christopher asks Beluf.

"Or. Hear me out. Just name them The God of Dimensions." Beluf says.

"Yeah, you're right." Christopher turns back to the door. "You heard us. Your name will be The God of Dimensions. And change the name to The Realm of the Great Sir Christopher Newman. Keep the lord part private because I feel it's too pompous."

Very well Sir I am now The God of Dimensions. And the realm name displayed on the door has been changed.

(Narrator) From here on, when The God of Dimensions speaks, it will be displayed like mine and Nebulon's names.

"One last thing. When the door is placed in this inn room, I would like you to keep the door open until sundown. This area is safe." Christopher requests.

(God of Dimensions) Very well Sir. Call on me if you require assistance.

"Thank you God of Dimensions...Yikes that's quite the mouthful. You now have a nickname. Dime sounds good." Christopher says.

(Narrator) Thank you Christopher. I was already sick of how long that was on the page.

(Dime) Process complete. I am now, The God of Dimensions, or Dime for short.

"Perfect. Thank you again, Dime." Christopher says. Walking through the door, with Beluf close behind.

I swear, not even a single second passed before Dime had something to say to him. Inside the dimension, Dime can talk through written messages anywhere in the dimension, even in the air so direct line of sight is always achieved.

(Dime) Someone has walked into the room and is looking at the door. What should I do Sir?

"Ask their name. Then tell me what they say." Christopher says, looking back at the door.

...

(Dime) It's Zoey Karthein.

"Oh, amazing. Allow her to enter whenever she wants. Tell her I'm waiting for her."

...

(Dime) It is done sir.

Zoey walks through the door and upon seeing Christopher, she runs up to him cheerfully. "It looks like you've been busy! What's with the door? And how is it talking?"

Christopher embraces Zoey, missing her cheerful personality. "Oh, that was a side effect of an experiment I made. I didn't see this result, but it turned out splendidly." Christopher pulls away and shows her the ring. "This ring is Dime, they're the brand new God of Dimensions. Me and Beluf decided it was appropriate since they have all the knowledge about Dimensional Spatial Magic."

(Dime) Hello, Zoey. It's nice to meet you.

"That's cool. So does that mean you figured out the King's request? What are they able to do?" Zoey asks.

"It does, and I'm not sure what they're able to do yet. I've only just performed the spell." Christopher says. Showing her the spell on the paper. "This is actually wrong, there are a few runes that should be different. I was just about to write up the real one now."

"Actually, I wouldn't. Keep the wrong one. That way no one can steal it from you." Beluf says.

"I agree. This is where you should take advantage of your eidetic memory." Zoey says, handing the paper back to him.

(Dime) That would certainly keep someone from replicating me for evil intentions.

"Yeah. Sounds good." Christopher says. "Will it be the same you?"

(Dime) Yes, it will always be me. Thanks to your enchantment that accompanies the spell it will always be me. I can also track and record those who use the spell now.

"I am loving all of these accidental features. You truly are like a god." Christopher yells.

(Dime) Yes, although I am technically a spell that attaches to a dimension.

"Who gives a crap. You have more power than I ever thought were possible. Especially since Christopher hasn't explored your abilities. I think you're amazing Dime." Zoey says.

(Dime) It is also possible to link other dimensions together, however that would require resources only attainable through 'The Mother's Wish'.

"What's 'The Mother's Wish'?" Beluf asks.

(Dime) It is an item that allows a person to make a single wish, if that wish doesn't violate the laws of creation itself. Such as, "Make me a god." for example. As The Gods are not capable of bestowing such a gift.

"And the only one that can is Nebulon. Add that to the list of reasons he destroys the laws of the perceivable universe." Christopher says.

(Dime) If you are able to find this item. You could use it to merge all of the me's you possess, therefore linking all of those dimensions. However, chants will no longer work as originally intended and you must select the realm you wish to enter on the door. Like a lever you would pull to open a gate.

(Narrator) That was a lot of text. Is that what it's like for you, reading this?

"That would be awesome, but what are the chances of that?" Christopher says.

(Narrator) Mother said no one has ever found it. Because it moves, teleporting to a new place every decade.

(Dime) I do not know. But asking a Narrator about it might tell you. Not many know about its existence.

"Shame. I'm unable to see the one following me yet, so I guess I'll have to wait." Christopher says.

(Narrator) You won't be asking me shit. I aint shelling out my mama's secrets.

"Anyway, what brings you in today Zoey?" Christopher asks, Dime's words disappearing.

"Well, I was just going to have a chat with you about your day so far, but now I don't need to. You got anything interesting planned?" Zoey replies.

"Not really. Some of our crops are a few days from harvest and the apple tree is not bearing any fruit so Heather is gonna need to take a look at it." Christopher says.

"Oh, well in any case. I've brought you a letter from Heather and Haider, it just got here this morning. And some Halfty." Zoey says, handing Christopher the items.

"I don't really have caffeine, but it'll be great for when I have visitors. Thank you. I'll read the letter when I'm back in my house. Do you want to stay for a bit? I'm pretty sure I have some snacks. We could gossip." Christopher offers.

"That's nice of you to offer, but those idiot cooks still can't make a decent waffle so I need to be down there right now." Zoey says, pointing her thumb to the door.

"Oh alright. I'll talk to you later then?" Christopher asks.

"Definitely. Catch you later too, Beluf. Continue looking after him, for all of us." She says, bounding off back through the door she came into.

"If only she knew it was you keeping me alive and well." Beluf says, placing his hands on his hips.

"Sure, but you're my emotional support dad." Christopher says, iconing his way back to his house.

"Haha, that's funny...Wait, dad?" Beluf asks, curious by what he meant.

As he opens the door, Christopher says, "Sure! Why not? You're gonna marry my dad at some point anyway so yeah. My soon to be dad." He waves a little and closes the door behind him, leaving Beluf to process what he said.

"I see why Hubby loves these pups so much now. He's so cute!" Beluf says. "I can't wait to tell Heddwyn that he called me dad." He continues, walking to his house like a Nekojin smoking catnip.
