Who's that young boy?

After Grand Elder Shui and Grand Elder Dadi departed, Ancestor Shi couldn't help but notice the worry etched in Bai Huo's eyes. It was a rare sight to see Ancestor Shi display such emotions or actions publicly in front of other Bai Clan members. He was typically a reserved and laid-back figure.

However, the concerns Grand Elder Huo had raised about the clan's future had placed a singular focus in Ancestor Shi's mind—the Bai Clan's very own prodigy, Bai Jian.

Ancestor Shi spoke with curiosity, "They're gone, Bai Huo. I can't trust Bai Shui and Bai Dadi. They're always up to something."

Bai Huo offered a soft chuckle. "Hahaha, Bai Huo, your problems with Bai Shui are personal, clouding your opinions of him."

"Well, Ancestor Shi, the issue I have pertains to Bai Jian."

Ancestor Shi's interest was piqued. "Is his life in danger? If so, I'll move into his residence!"

Bai Huo shook his head. "No, Ancestor Shi, it's quite the opposite. Bai Jian wishes to visit the library tomorrow."

Ancestor Shi raised an eyebrow. "Oh, he does, does he?"

Bai Huo continued, "What did you tell him?"

"I didn't have the heart to tell him no."

Ancestor Shi leaned in, curious. "Okay, so what's your problem, Bai Huo?"

"I want to bring him tomorrow, but I haven't informed him that we don't have a regular library."

Ancestor Shi pondered the situation. "Then all we can do is bring him to the Martial Arts Pavilion."

Bai Huo nodded. "Yes, Ancestor. It will be done."

Ancestor Shi paused for a moment, considering their next move. "Wait."

Bai Huo responded, "Yes, Ancestor Shi."

Ancestor Shi suggested, "Let's do this: we'll send him to the Martial Arts Pavilion with Lady Li and Bai Kuai, along with a couple of Bai Clan guards tomorrow. We can watch him secretly to see what he'll do, even though we held off on giving him an item ceremony like the other children in our clan."

Bai Huo seemed intrigued. "Oh?"

Ancestor Shi explained, "We can see what he'll do when he enters the Martial Arts Pavilion. Who knows, maybe he'll even surprise me."

As Ancestor Shi and Grand Elder Huo discussed their plan, two more Grand Elders arrived at the Martial Arts Pavilion. Just as their conversation concluded, the newcomers found Ancestor Shi and Grand Elder Huo on the 6th floor of the pavilion.

Grand Elder Jin spoke first, offering his greetings, "I, Grand Elder Jin, salute Ancestor Shi."

Grand Elder Jinshu followed suit, "I, Grand Elder Jinshu, salute Ancestor Shi."

Ancestor Shi returned their greetings with warmth.

"Oh, hello. Greetings to you both. How are you?"

"We're good, Ancestor Shi,"

both Grand Elders replied in unison. Ancestor Shi nodded, acknowledging their response.

"So, Grand Elders, what brings you two here?"

Grand Elder Jin spoke up, "Ancestor Shi, we came here due to reports of Grand Elder Huo rushing through White Crane City."

Grand Elder Jinshu added, "Yes, we received information that Bai Huo was moving at an incredibly fast pace through the city. We thought there might be an emergency."

Ancestor Shi glanced at Grand Elder Huo, his expression a mixture of understanding and amusement.

"I see. I appreciate your concern, Grand Elders. There's no need to worry. Bai Huo was here for a meeting with me."

Grand Elder Huo chimed in, "I apologize for any disturbance I may have caused in White Crane City."

As the Four talked and discussed things.

The room was filled with a palpable sense of anticipation and uncertainty as Grand Elder Jin and Grand Elder Jinshu shared their insights and ideas.

The prospect of seeking guidance from the enigmatic elders residing behind the Glimmering Mountain Range, a place shrouded in legends and mystery, loomed large in their minds.

Ancestor Shi, his brow furrowed in contemplation, couldn't help but consider the idea of reaching out to these reclusive old and imposing elders.

The room fell into a hushed silence, the collective apprehension almost palpable. The legends and tales surrounding these elderly residents of the Glimmering Mountain Range were filled with myth and uncertainty, adding an extra layer of intimidation to the prospect of requesting their assistance.

As the discussion continued, Grand Elder Huo's thoughts veered towards a different perspective, one colored by the fear that the venerable sages might not be inclined to help without some form of compensation.

He broached the issue, expressing his concern about their willingness to cooperate.

Ancestor Shi, however, offered an alternative perspective, steadfast in his belief that the old masters were not motivated by selfish interests. He sought to reassure the group, "You see, Bai Huo, those individuals behind the mountain are not driven by material gain or power.

Their motivations are rooted in knowledge, wisdom, and the betterment of our clan. It's not about benefits for them."

The discussion continued, and the question of which elder to approach remained a topic of debate.

Ancestor Shi contemplated the options, "We have two strong possibilities - Bai Qiu, Bai Huo's very own Great-Grandfather, or Bai Yin the Old Tiger.

The third option is Bai Weizhe, although he's a figure lost to time, unseen for over the last two millennia. He was a figure of great Strength and has lived a long time, but I would say with a small chance we're uncertain whether he's still within the clan's lands or even alive."

The room was filled with a profound sense of gravity as the group mulled over their choices.

The prospect of seeking help from these ancient beings behind the Glimmering Mountain Range was an endeavor fraught with uncertainty.

Still, they all recognized the significance of reaching out to unlock Bai Jian's extraordinary potential.

Suddenly, Grand Elder Jinshu interjected with an intriguing revelation, "Wait, Ancestor Shi, Bai Yin the Great Tiger is still alive? But isn't he over 4,000 years old now?

Ancestor Shi went into detail about the stories about

with Bai Yin's legendary feats, he began to paint a vivid tapestry of the Great Tiger's extraordinary life, each story more breathtaking than the last. He spoke of Bai Yin's remarkable battles against Spirit Beasts in the Yinfold Domain, recounting how these confrontations had shaped his reputation as an unparalleled martial artist.

In one awe-inspiring story, Bai Yin had faced a colossal Earthshaker Leviathan, a Spirit Beast of immense proportions.

Their battle raged for seven days and seven nights, and in the end, Bai Yin's indomitable strength prevailed. The clash had resulted in the entire Yinfold Mountain Range being reformed, with an entire mountain reduced to rubble.

Another epic tale involved Bai Yin's confrontation with a Water Dragon Serpent in the heart of the Yinfold Domain. The battle was so fierce that it altered the course of the River of Whispers, moving it to a new path that now flowed through the heart of the Yinfold Domain. The memory of their clash lingered in the landscape as the river had carved a deep chasm as it found its new route.

Yet another astonishing account told of Bai Yin's stand against an ancient Thunderclap Roc, a Spirit Beast with the power to command storms. Their battle had culminated in an epic thunderstorm that lasted for an entire month, leaving behind a valley that lay scorched and devoid of life. The very earth itself had been seared by the Roc's lightning strikes.

One particularly renowned story detailed Bai Yin's encounter with a Fire King Drake Spirit Beast, an entity known for its mastery of fiery infernos.

Their duel had led to an astounding impasse that left the Yinfold Domain ablaze with molten rock and roaring flames. The conflagration raged for a week, creating a field of scorched earth where once a thriving town had stood. The town had been reduced to smoldering embers, a testament to the raw power unleashed during their confrontation.

As Ancestor Shi shared these incredible stories, the audience was left in awe of Bai Yin's unmatched courage and martial prowess. It was said that even the Spirit Beasts of the Yinfold Domain spoke of him with a sense of reverence, acknowledging his place as one of the most formidable beings they had ever encountered.

Each new story further deepened the legend of Bai Yin, and the room was filled with hushed admiration for the Great Tiger. His deeds were not just tales but living testaments to his extraordinary journey as a cultivator and martial artist, leaving an indelible mark on the world around him.

Ancestor Shi continued to captivate the audience with tales of Bai Yin's incredible exploits.

He recounted one of the most famous stories that had become a legend among cultivators and Spirit Realm denizens alike.

In this particular story, Ancestor Shi's own Great Aunt Bai Xuanlu - (The Great White Lotus) was witness to herself, Bai Yin had found himself in an epic duel with an enigmatic mage.

What began as a seemingly straightforward confrontation had taken an unexpected turn when they discovered that their opponent was not just any mage but a Spirit Necromancer, one who wielded the power of life and death.

Their clash had started with a fierce intensity that quickly escalated into a ten-day and ten-night battle. The reason behind their relentless struggle was an Exalted Spirit Wine Fruit, a legendary treasure rumored to extend one's life and cultivate longevity. Both Bai Yin and the Spirit Necromancer were equally headstrong and resolute in their determination to claim the fruit for themselves.

As the days wore on, their battle unfolded with an intensity that defied comprehension. Bai Yin's physical strength and martial prowess were pitted against the Spirit Necromancer's mastery over life essence and death energies.

The resulting conflict had cast a surreal and mesmerizing Yin aura over the entire Yinfold Domain.

Their confrontation became an endurance test of both their abilities and their spirits. The land was marked by scorched earth, the air tinged with otherworldly energies, and the heavens themselves seemed to watch in anticipation.

In the end, it was the Spirit Necromancer who could no longer sustain the exhausting battle.

As he finally fell to the ground, depleted and exhausted, it was Bai Yin who stood victorious. In an uncharacteristic display of mercy, Bai Yin chose not to end the Spirit Necromancer's life, despite the dark path the latter had embraced.

The Spirit Necromancer was left to live, but the battle had taken a toll on him in more ways than one.

Over time, he found himself transformed, not only in body but in spirit. The experience forever altered the course of his life and led him down a path of redemption.

Ancestor Shi's storytelling had left a profound impact on the room's occupants. The legends of Bai Yin's unwavering spirit and indomitable character garnered the respect and admiration of everyone present.

His tales were more than just stories of valor and strength; they embodied profound lessons about the indomitable nature of the human spirit.

Grand Elder Huo and Jinshu expressed their astonishment and marveled at the authenticity of the story, confirming that the Spirit Fruit had indeed extended Bai Yin's life, making it a rare and miraculous event.

Grand Elder Jin offered his own insights, emphasizing the rarity of such blessings in a cultivator's life.

To stumble upon a Spirit Fruit or receive a Spirit Elixir from a Great Alchemist capable of extending one's lifespan was as uncommon as witnessing a fire-breathing dragon in the mortal realm. He also noted that alchemists tended to guard such rare materials jealously, often keeping them for their own benefit.

The room was now buzzing with both the splendor of Bai Yin's legacy and the rarity of the blessings he had received.

Each person present understood the significance of these stories and how they shed light on the untapped potential that awaited Bai Jian as he ventured into the world of cultivation.

The four individuals continued their spirited discussion. Someone in the room suggested seeking counsel from Ancestor Shi's Great Aunt on the Flowering Lotus Peak for advice, one of the esteemed previous Ancestors, Bai Xuanlu, known as the Great White Lotus.

The room fell into a momentary money of silence, there was a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air, considering the wisdom of seeking guidance from such an esteemed figure, would come as a great gift to any cultivator.

One of them contemplated, "Yes, my Great Aunt should have the knowledge we seek. We should consult her to determine which path we should take."

The room filled with a shared sense of resolve as they decided to reach out to the Great White Lotus on Flowering Lotus Peak for her guidance.

As Ancestor Shi outlined his plan, a sense of relief and hope began to permeate the room.

"No need to worry, Grand Elder Huo," Ancestor Shi said with determination.

"I believe we can turn this situation to our advantage. Let's have the younger generation enter the Martial Arts Pavilion under the pretext of a test."

Grand Elder Jinshu nodded in agreement, realizing the potential of the plan.

"Hmm, Ancestor Shi, that's a great idea."

Ancestor Shi, resolute in his decision, concluded, "Very well, I will share our plan with the entire clan. We will arrange a grand coming-of-age ceremony and invite five participants from each branch, as well as five representatives from the three main branches. I am confident that this idea will yield positive results."

With the plan set in motion, the room filled with renewed optimism, eager to see how this event would impact the younger generation of the Bai Clan.

As Ancestor Shi proposed the next steps, he turned to Grand Elder Huo, Grand Elder Jin, and Grand Elder Jinshu for their input.

Grand Elder Huo spoke up first, his voice reflecting the seriousness of the matter.

"Ancestor Shi, it's a prudent approach. Sharing our plan with the other Ancestors will ensure that we have the collective wisdom and support of our most esteemed members. We can benefit from their insights and guidance."

Grand Elder Jin added, "Indeed, Ancestor. Their experience and perspectives are invaluable. We must make use of all available resources to navigate this uncharted path."

Grand Elder Jinshu chimed in, "Ancestor Shi, it's a sound strategy. With the backing of our fellow Ancestors, our decision will carry even more weight. It's a wise move to ensure we proceed in the best possible manner."

Ancestor Shi, satisfied with their consensus, nodded in agreement.

"Thank you, my trusted advisors. We will indeed consult with our fellow Ancestors before reaching out to the Profound White Tower. Once we have their support, we can proceed with our plan to enter the depths of the Glimmering Mountain Range."

The group understood the significance of their actions and the necessity of gaining the collective wisdom of their Ancestors before embarking on this important journey.

Grand Elder Huo, Grand Elder Jin, and Grand Elder Jinshu exchanged thoughtful glances, considering Ancestor Shi's plan. After a brief moment, Grand Elder Jin spoke up,

"Ancestor Shi, I believe we should also prepare Bai Jian for the journey ahead. We must ensure he is ready for the challenges that await him in the Glimmering Mountain Range."

Grand Elder Huo nodded in agreement.

"Indeed, preparing Bai Jian is crucial. His potential is immense, but he needs guidance and training to harness it effectively. We must see to his cultivation and provide him with the necessary knowledge and skills."

Grand Elder Jinshu added, "Ancestor, we should also consider assembling a team to accompany us on this journey. The Glimmering Mountain Range is a formidable place, and we may encounter unforeseen challenges. Having skilled individuals with us will enhance our chances of success."

Ancestor Shi appreciated the input from his trusted advisors.

"You are all correct. Preparing Bai Jian, forming a team, and ensuring we have a clear plan are essential steps. We will begin by gathering our fellow Ancestors' wisdom and the Profound White Tower's support. Once we have all the pieces in place, we will embark on this important journey."

The group understood the gravity of its mission and was determined to take all necessary steps to ensure its success.

Now let's hope My Great Aunt can help us, and there are no surprises for us! Well gentlemen I'll see you there in two weeks.

As Grand Elder Huo, along with Grand Elders Jin and Jinshu, made the announcement throughout the Bai Clan, the news quickly spread, causing a buzz of excitement and anticipation.

People from various branches and generations of the clan started making preparations for the upcoming event, eager to send their youngest members to the Martial Arts Pavilion.

However, beneath the surface of this excitement, there was an undercurrent of unease. As the three elders gathered to discuss the situation further, Grand Elder Huo's concern for Bai Jian was palpable.

"I hope this idea will work," Grand Elder Huo admitted, his voice tinged with unease. "I'm deeply concerned about Bai Jian."

Ancestor Shi acknowledged his concern with a nod, his brow furrowed. "I share your worry, Grand Elder Huo. Bai Jian's potential is undeniable, but it's uncharted territory for someone with his Sacred White Tiger Physique."

Grand Elder Huo clenched his fists, a heavy weight on his shoulders as he contemplated the challenges that lay ahead.

His expression grew somber, mirroring the gravity of the situation they were facing. The road to unlocking Bai Jian's unique potential was fraught with uncertainties and dangers, and their concern for his well-being was deeply felt.

Ancestor Shi's eyes glistened with understanding, and he spoke with a tone of reassurance.

"I know, Bai Huo. But sometimes, we need to push our limits to unlock our true potential. Perhaps this test will be the catalyst Bai Jian needs."

In a quiet corner of the Main House Villa, Grand Elder Huo and Ancestor Shi discussed Bai Jian's unique situation.

There was an unspoken tension that hung in the air, knowing that Bai Jian's future was at stake. Grand Elder Huo couldn't hide his deep concern as he said, "Ancestor Shi, I've searched through countless techniques and scrolls, trying to find something that can harness and unify Bai Jian's Sacred White Tiger Physique and his innate cultivation talent. But I've found nothing that fits."

"We will find a way, Bai Huo, We will find a way."

4 days have gone by.

----------------------------------------

Inside the Main House Villa -

Bai Jian found himself at the heart of the grand household. Seated at a massive dining table, he shared a meal with his parents, aunts, uncles, and some of his sisters. The atmosphere was lively, filled with familial warmth and conversation.

As Bai Jian looked around, he couldn't help but notice the grandeur of the room. Above the lengthy dining table hung two imposing stuffed creatures, their lifelike postures creating the illusion of an eternal battle.

The first creature above the head of the table was a massive 10-meter-long Midnight Twin Winged Corporal Tiger.

It gripped the midsection of a colossal, serpent-like Blood-Saint King Wyvern, spanning an impressive 40 meters.

The Wyvern was adorned with dark, blood-colored scales, reflecting an otherworldly sheen.

The display was further embellished with ornate ornaments, figurines, and an array of candles.

The entire scene cast an air of grandeur and magnificence upon the room as if telling stories of ancient battles and martial prowess.

Bai Jian couldn't help but marvel at the might and lineage of his new family. The presence of such powerful artifacts as dining room ornaments hinted at the formidable heritage he had joined.

As he contemplated his newfound family's strength, Bai Jian's thoughts raced. He considered his own cultivation level and the need to reveal it to the clan.

With a hint of excitement and trepidation, he mused about accelerating his cultivation plans. Bai Jian was aware that suppressing his true level of power was a skill he had honed well, thanks to his training in the Void Phase Arts from his old family.

He was confident in his ability to conceal his true abilities while navigating the delicate intricacies of his new clan.

Bai Jian couldn't help but wonder about the power distribution within his family and yearned to explore the levels of strength and influence each member held.

As Bai Jian observed the Bai Clan guards, he was struck by the impressive display of their martial prowess.

The men, clad in pristine white Taoist robes, projected an aura of strength and discipline. He meticulously assessed their cultivation levels:

All the basic guards had reached the Dantian Formation Level, showcasing the standard baseline for the clan's security forces.

Astonishingly, at least a thousand guards were at the Nascent Stage, signifying the existence of a formidable and numerous force within the clan.

Approximately a hundred guards had ascended to the Ascendant level, a testament to the Bai Clan's emphasis on training and nurturing talents.

Even more remarkably, Bai Jian identified five guards who had reached the Archaean level, further highlighting the formidable martial strength that guarded the family.

Next, Bai Jian's thoughts shifted to his immediate family members as his mother, Li Bao was an impressive Middle Ascendant Stage cultivator at the age of 33, showcasing her dedication and skill.

\His father, Bai Hu, had faced challenges with an injured Dantian but had persevered to reach the Peak Dantian Formation Stage. However, a decade ago, he had been at the Late Arcane Stage, and this injury had led to his current cultivation level at the age of 30.

With a tinge of pride, Bai Jian kept his own cultivation level hidden. At the Late Meridians Meridian Opening Stage, he had opened 300 out of the 382 meridians, two True Meridians, and three Special Acupoints. This young prodigy was a mere five years old, but his potential was immense.

Bai Jian's sisters demonstrated a remarkable array of talent and potential:

His second sister, Bai Piaoliang, was at the Peak Nascent Soul Establishment Stage at just 12 years old.

His third sister, Bai Meili, had reached the Late Nascent Soul Opening Stage at the age of 11.

The fourth sister, Bai Mei, had recently formed her Dantian, marking her Initial Dantian Formation at the age of 10.

His fifth sister, Bai Xuan, had impressively formed two of her three cores and was just 9 years old.

The twin sisters, Bai Lan and Bai Lanfen, were demonstrating their own prowess.

Bai Lan had reached the Late Foundation Establishment Stage, while Bai Lanfen was at the Mid Foundation Establishment Stage, both were just 7 years old.

The youngest sister, Bai Mei Lien, was an Early Foundation Establishment Stage cultivator at the tender age of 6.

The list of aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents provided an extensive family tree that revealed the diversity of the Bai Clan.

Their respective ages and cultivation levels showcased the rich tapestry of the family's strengths and experiences.

Amid the family gathering, Bai Jian couldn't help but sense the intrusion of an unfamiliar spiritual presence, an attempt to gauge his cultivation level discreetly. He pondered this unexpected encounter with curiosity.

As conversations flowed, Bai Jian interacted with various family members. A humorous exchange between his uncles and aunts lightened the mood, with teasing and laughter filling the room.

When his grandfather, Bai Huo, mentioned his upcoming visit to the library, Bai Jian's excitement and eagerness shone through.

The night concluded with the family dispersing, and Bai Jian, deep in thought, retired to his room to prepare for the day ahead, full of anticipation for his visit to the library.

A new day dawned with an air of anticipation and purpose, the three Bai Clan Ancestors, known for their wisdom and power, convened early in the morning. Ancestor Shi, a figure of great reverence, began the meeting by recounting the events of the previous day.

The weight of their discussion hung heavy in the air, for they were embarking on a path fraught with challenges and the promise of greatness.

As the sun ascended in the sky, casting its warm rays upon the world, the Ancestors delved into the heart of their plan, refining every detail to ensure its flawless execution. They knew that success was not only a matter of strategy but also of unity and unwavering resolve.

As the morning unfolded, a buzz of excitement swept through the Bai Clan. Members from every corner of the clan, dressed in traditional Eastern attire, began to congregate. Their journey led them to a massive ravine, a natural chasm that cleaved the earth beside the awe-inspiring White Crane City.

Across the abyss, nestled like a pearl amid the rugged terrain, lay a quaint town that had sprung to life over 400 years ago. It had been established to alleviate the challenges of overpopulation and to serve as a stronghold for the Bai Clan. The town's purpose was clear: to safeguard and maintain the revered Martial Hall Pavilion that stood proudly at its heart.

This sacred Martial Hall Pavilion was more than just a training ground; it was a testament to the Bai Clan's legacy. Perched at the foot of a colossal flight of stairs leading to the Mountain Siheyuan mansion, it held the indomitable spirit of generations past. This mansion belonged to none other than Bai Huo's great-grandfather, the legendary Bai Long, and his enigmatic Great Uncle, Bai Zhiyuan.

The memory of these illustrious ancestors had loomed over the Bai Clan for centuries, though they had been absent for over seven centuries. Their silence had only added to the enigma and prestige surrounding their names. As the Bai Clan gathered, the echoes of their stories and the profound history they left behind served as a constant reminder of the importance of their mission. The Martial Hall Pavilion had always been a link to the clan's ancestral might and an enduring symbol of the Bai Clan's strength.

With the sun at its zenith and the wind carrying the whispers of time, the Bai Clan members readied themselves for the pivotal event that was about to unfold. The promise of ancient legends and untold power hung in the air, waiting to be grasped by those bold enough to reach for it.

As the sun climbed high in the sky, the Bai Clan's gathering neared its culmination. Half an hour before noon, the Grand Elders and Ancestors observed a sight that filled them with intrigue and excitement. Eight distinct groups, each radiating an air of anticipation, were slowly assembling near the bridge that connected the White Crane City to the Martial Hall Town.

One of the Grand Elders turned to his companion, a glint of curiosity in his eyes. "Is that true?"

His fellow Bai Clan member, Bai Chi, contemplated the gathering crowd. "The clan must have arranged this event recently, Brother Bai Chi."

Bai Chi nodded, his gaze fixed on the various groups converging on the bridge. "It seems that the clan has sensed the mounting pressure from external forces. They are likely hoping to ignite the spirit of our Bai Clan by seeking new talents among the younger generations from the various branches."

Bai Jia, who had been listening intently, interjected with a furrowed brow. "What do you mean by external pressure?"

Bai Chi sighed, realizing the need to share this knowledge. "The Clan Leader of the Hou Clan and the Patriarch of the Fire Strength Sect have both reached the Peak of the Nirvana Soul Transformation Stage.

The Bai Clan has indeed felt the mounting external pressure due to their advancements. The Ji Clan, our allies, is dealing with their own issues, and their assistance may not be forthcoming."

Concern etched on his face, Bai Jia asked, "So, is our clan in danger?"

Bai Chi, ever the pragmatist, offered a measured response. "Not yet, but the clan is awaiting word from our in-laws, the Li Family, and the Li Clan."

His younger brother sought reassurance. "So, that means we are safe, big brother Bai Chi?"

Bai Chi glanced at the gathering crowd and responded thoughtfully, "Only time will reveal the true outcome, little brother Bai Jia."

Meanwhile, Bai Jian found himself in a carriage with his parents and his eldest sister, traveling towards the Martial Hall Pavilion. He contemplated the events unfolding around him, pondering the stark differences between his current life and his previous one.

In his former existence, his ancestors and master had pursued their cultivation under the protective wing of the Celestial Yang Dragon Sect, harboring hopes of being chosen as the next Emperor by his royal family and father. Bai Jian eventually realized that dream and ascended to the throne, initially rejoicing in his achievement.

However, the path of his destiny took a dark turn. His master was ambushed while escorting his junior brother to the Celestial Yin Phoenix Sect for a marriage alliance, an ambush orchestrated by his own eldest uncle and cousins. Though his master survived, he was forced into hiding, while his junior brother reached the Phoenix Sect safely.

As the pieces of his past unraveled, Bai Jian couldn't help but think about the tumultuous journey that had led him to this life and this moment, a moment pregnant with possibilities.

Bai Jian clung to the few constants he had retained during his transition to this new life: his memories, certain items, and most importantly, his soul cultivation. These remnants of his previous existence served as his source of hope and pride, as they bridged the gap between the worlds he had known.

In the beginning, he had blamed himself for the unfortunate events that transpired in his former life. But as time passed and his understanding deepened, he came to realize that the circumstances were beyond his control. It wasn't his fault, and he was determined to let go of the past and forge ahead.

Ironically, even though he had initially believed that he couldn't rectify the situation, he now knew that the power to change his destiny lay within him. He was resolute in his determination to seek revenge on those who had wronged him. He understood that the path would be fraught with challenges, but he was ready to face them head-on.

Born into a mortal family in the lower realms of a mere Grade 3 planet, Bai Jian had started at a significant disadvantage. However, the clan into which he was born, while currently mediocre, held the potential to become a force to be reckoned with in the future of the cultivation world. This glimmer of potential provided Bai Jian with a ray of hope and the motivation to rise beyond his humble beginnings.

The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and excitement as the entire Bai Clan assembled in front of the majestic Martial Hall Pavilion. Thousands of clan members had gathered, eager to witness the grand event. The scene was bustling with energy and an air of unity as the Bai Clan showcased its might and unity.

Eleven large groups had congregated in front of the Pavilion, each representing different branches of the clan. The Ancestors took the stage, delivering instructions and outlining the rules for the new event. Their words carried the weight of tradition and authority, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.

The three main direct bloodline families stood at the forefront, each displaying their unique insignia on their banners. This display of heraldry symbolized their distinct identities within the clan and underscored the unity of the Bai Clan as a whole. The event had brought the clan members together, and the stage was set for a day filled with challenges and opportunities for the younger generation to prove themselves.

Bai Jian keenly observed the three main bloodlines within the Bai Clan, each distinguished by unique insignias and characteristics. The main bloodline he belonged to was represented by a Black banner adorned with a White Tiger enveloped in clouds. This was accompanied by the presence of his father and grandfather, indicating their association with Ancestor Yin's family line.

The second main bloodline was symbolized by an elderly man dressed in an all-white robe with Black arm guards. This man was accompanied by Grand Elder Feng, who bore two Katana swords. Their visual representation suggested they were affiliated with Ancestor Tie's family line.

The third main bloodline stood out distinctly, dressed in all-black robes, giving off an aura of assassins with hoods and a collection of weapons, including Katana swords and twin daggers. Grand Elder Shui led this group, and he had a hunched, elderly companion wearing a half-black and half-white robe with a crested moon on the left shoulder, and a wooden walking cane. This group was associated with Ancestor Shi's family line.

Bai Jian realized that each main bloodline had two branches directly below them. He understood that the close rapport between Grand Elder Shui and Dadi resulted from the direct subordination of Grand Elder Dadi's family branch to Grand Elder Shui's branch.

As he pieced together the clan's intricate structure, Bai Jian concluded that the last two Bai Clan branches were likely responsible for managing the clan's Medical Pill Pavilion, Martial Arts Pavilion, and the Weapons Sky Pagoda. Access to the Weapons Sky Pagoda required the approval of half the Grand Elders and two of the Clan's Ancestors, making it a highly esteemed and exclusive location within the clan.

The young cultivator's observations allowed him to better understand the Bai Clan's inner workings and hierarchy, providing him with valuable insights for the future.

As Bai Jian contemplated the advantages that a high social status could offer, a nobleman from one of the side branches nervously approached his father, Bai Hu. This man was visibly anxious, his trembling fingers nearly turning pale from the pressure of his grip.

With evident unease, the nobleman bowed slightly and offered a wooden box containing intricately designed jade pieces. Upon presenting the gift, his trembling hands steadied, and he glanced curiously at the young boy standing beside Bai Hu's wife, Li Bao. The boy's solemn gaze left the nobleman wondering about the thoughts racing through his mind.

However, the young boy didn't break his gaze and appeared to be sizing up the nobleman.

The nobleman, not knowing who the boy was, thanked Bai Hu for accepting the gift with a respectful palm salute.

Bai Hu reciprocated, "Why thank you, Grand Elder Jilie, for the gift."

The nobleman, Grand Elder Jilie, replied, "You're welcome, Clan Leader Hu. It's my pleasure."

As this exchange took place, Bai Jian remained watchful, and curious about the dynamics within the clan and the significance of this interaction. He couldn't help but wonder how his family's position in the clan would be influenced by such encounters.

{Who's that young boy?}
