The Ascent Of A Lightning Bolt !

After what the young man had said, all of the people that were close by, especially those that were from the Huo Sect or the Hou Clan were now laughing. They were heckling and egging the person on the fighting stage.

For the most part, it was just silly things or things that would maybe get a rise out of him. While he was on the stage, they just kept calling him names and how he was small and thin-looking and how he couldn't be anything except but be a weakling.

If There was one time when someone could make a guess and probably not get it wrong. It would probably be right now and if there was someone there that could make an educated guess and guess what everyone around them was thinking. I'm sure everyone had one word in common that was their presence.

That word would be "weak"

The thing was that from a stranger's perspective Bai Jian did look like a weak person, standing there on that stage. He probably looked weak, thin, and short in their eyes.

But for the most part, people were talking about Bai Jian's face. For one thing, they couldn't see his face and they thought that if he was wearing a mask over his face. Then most likely he was probably really ugly and that it was really scary to look at, so most likely he wore the mask to hid his face and not to hide his identity from other people.

A person nearby was talking to someone one on one, then another person next to them was talking to one of their friends, and his chat between his friend and then that person was just loud enough for others around to hear him, but not for people really far away to hear him.

"I bet it's because he's ugly and that's why he needs to wear that mask."

"I bet, he wears it all-year-round because he was mauled by a tiger in the face when he was younger."

"Yea, maybe you are right. Maybe he was hurt real bad and he now has to wear a mask to hide his hideous face so as to not scare people with his face."

Then another jumped into the conversation.

"Yea, yea that sounds right probably!"

"I'm Hou Duo, what's your name!"

(Bai Jian didn't notice it when he got to the stage but something inside of him felt different to him. For some reason, it was getting harder and harder as time went on, especially against the arrogant shit in front of him. )

"I'm your worse nightmare!"

"What?"

"Hahaha did you guys hear that! He's my worst nightmare."

"Hmmm, where are the rest of the little cats in your Clan. Did they run off and hide in their little caves huh!? Where are the members of your clan, there's only one person of the Clan's Main Bloodline here right now?"

"It doesn't matter you won't be around long enough to see them, any last words?"

"Hahaha, guys, this kid is doing it again. he's talking to himself again, don't worry kid I'll finish this fight real quick, don't worry it won't even hurt that bad you'll just get a couple of bruises but maybe you'll be unlucky and get a couple of broken bones, lets put you into a little misery!"

Bai Jian channeled his Qi through his veins than through his meridians to his hands then performed a Snake, Dog than a Tiger hand sign, and then made his Qi travel to his feet, and performed his Chasing clouds Technique.

Swoosh!

He got within a meter of Hou Duo, then activated his Cultivation Technique to start using his Qi again, then he channeled his Qi through his left arm down to his left hand, formed a one-handed Tiger Seal.

His Qi then channeled back through his left arm then through his chest then down his right arm to his right hand, then he made an opened his fist to form a chopping motion in the form of a hand thrust move towards Hou Duo.

[ The Ascent Of Lightning Stab Technique]

As he finished the motions to the first technique, the Qi that left his body through his right hand had started to change from the usual clear/Grey color to a very light Azure color.

"The Ascent of a Lightning Bolt!"

A 4-inch wide bolt of Lightning flew out of his right hand.

(What the heck?)

Bang!

"Hahaha, did you think that you'd catch me off guard with that weak attack?"

"Hahaha, so come on kid, who might you be?"

Hou Duo, ducked under the bolt of lightning, that Bai Jian sent out then he turned his head to the left, while he was still slightly crouched!

After Bai Jian missed with his first move he then jumped 10 meters into the air, then made a forward motion towards Hou Duo

"Wait, what!"

Bai Jian jumped, catching Hou Duo off-guard a little, but as he was coming down he made a hand chop type of motion towards Hou Duo's head.

[ The Might Of A Midnight Tiger ]

"The Descent of a Lightning Claw"

A 3 meter wide bolt of lightning came out of Bai Jian's Hand as the bolt of lighting changed into a White Tiger's paw with its claws out, came rushing down towards Hou Duo's Head!

After this second attack, people that were nearby that weren't paying attention before were now paying attention after a bolt of lightning made a bang when it flew past the audience's heads and hit a wall of a house nearby and blew a 10-meter hole into the house's courtyard wall.

Besides the man on the stage fighting Bai Jian, a lot of the people still standing or that wasn't hurt from Huo Baoli or Tian Tomi's earlier fights were amazed at the amount of Lightning that just came out of Bai Jian's hands.

On a Hill in White Crane City-

On top of a hill right now, two young men were standing with their guards were in yellow silk robes with light brown silk sashes tied around their waist.

Each had a spear tied to their backs, with a gold circle with a Golden Bird in the middle on their left chest.

They were sitting down and eating food with their guards prepared by their servants.

While they were eating their food, they noticed the fighting going on earlier down inside White Crane City, they had decided to sit down and watch the fighting as they eat their lunch.

"Brother Hu, did you see that?"

"Yea, I saw that Junior brother Ying. I can't believe it!"

"I know right that was amazing right! I've seen cultivators that have controlled Thunder type Technique's on Huo Continent but I've never seen a cultivator control Lightning before!"

"Junior Brother Ying, I guess it's true then what I heard about the Bai Clan!"

"What did you hear?"

"Well I first read about them then I asked an Elder about them, An he told me an old Legend."

"What legend Brother Hu?"

"There are some old scrolls in the forgotten library in the Yellow Tower at the back of Tou Ying Sect, that I got to visit with our master over 20 years ago, they actually have quite amount of old information on all of the old clan's and Sect's that inhabit our Planet.

I got to read about a Clan called the white Tiger Clan that came from one of the Higher Realms a couple of ages ago. But now I can guess that the ( White Tiger Clan ) that was talked about in those old scrolls is probably the same Bai Clan that we're watching right now."

"What! A couple of ages ago, that would make them 10 times older than our Sky Lords Sect?

"Yea that would be true Junior Brother Ying!"

"Come on, Brother Hu! That would mean that the Bai Clan is older than 2 or 3 million years old."

"Yes, Brother."

"There's no way"

"Yes, Way!"

Come on, that can't be true brother Hu!"

"But, I think it is true. Haven't you noticed all the tiger statues in and around their territory?"

"What the heck, junior brother Ying? All of them, wear exactly the same white robes, with clouds on them, junior Brother Ying, the Hill that were sitting on. Is in front of the White Tiger Mountain, I bet you all the money inside my spirit space pouch. That the old mountain from the old legends, we've all read about, is the same White Tiger mountain behind us right now. I mean look at the people from the Hou Clan, they all call the people from the Bai Clan little cats and other words to insinuate that their weak tigers?"

"But brother that could be just a coincidence, I mean they live on and near a mountain called White Tiger Mountain, and because they think the Bai Clan is weak. They don't deserve to be called Tigers, so they keep throwing insults left and right at them while their fighting members from the Bai Clan to show them that they don't think that there tigers but cats instead."

"Brother have you never heard the Ancient stories about planet Azure and the proverbs about Tigers?"

"Yes, but they can't be..."

"But it's true junior brother Ying, all of the old proverbs about tigers or dragons or any other mythical Creatures from Ancient times is true. The one about the Tiger Den is a reference to an Old monster that lived on the exact mountain behind us more than 2 ages ago."

Well, do you remember the proverb you heard while we were at a Tavern a couple of days ago when we went to the Bar?"

"Yea, those two old-timers that were talking and joking about the Bai Clan, I remember that they got beat up by an old man after he heard what they said at the bar."

Well the proverb " When there are no great tigers on the top of the Mountain, even a monkey can become king."

Came from when someone from a Clan that possessed an Ape or Monkey bloodline around those times and made a joke about how the White Tiger Clan didn't have any tigers but their Clan had their Ape King or something back then.

"This caused a great cataclysm event one and a half ages ago, between all of the clans that possessed a beast or even a Mythical creature Bloodline that it even brought their subordinates and their lord's clans from the higher realms into the war.

"Come on Brother Hu, that seems far-fetched if you're insinuating that those stories and those famous proverbs are about the Bai Clan that we're watching right in front of us right now?"

"Brother Ying, you know about how humans came to inhabit Planet Azure correct?"

"Yes Brother Hu, there was some big disagreement that happened within the Mystic Clan on Planet Mystic for the Patriarch position in the Mortal Realm. But due to this event, almost caused them to succumb to infighting and war amongst themselves.

But from what I was told, my Great Grandfather told me that because of the fighting that happened there within the Clan. It somehow carried over to the Profound Realm and even affected one of the millennium succession meetings that was big for them that someone within the Mystic Sect almost died because of what transpired over who got the rights to the succession of the Sect Leader Position in the Profound Realm.

The Azure Clan started to get frustrated, then after saving the Mystic Sect's territory after they wanted control over the Mystic Water Region and from getting totally annihilated against the Yin Corpse Sect and the Spirit Duo Sect.

The Azure Clan finally got upset at that point. So they decided to give the Mystic Sect their terms, either they go to war for the Sect leader position within the Mystic Sect, or they would receive a large number of resources and would get a larger area to control over, in the Mystic Sect's own region in the Profound Realm or they would attack the Mystic Sect from within and leave getting what they wanted.

When the Mystic Sect was still in control at that point they had been in control of the entire Mystic Water Region for more than a couple of Eras. (Eras equals 2,000,000+ Years) So after a couple of millenniums after the Mystic Sect won the war against both the Yin Corpse Sect and the Spirit Duo Sect. The Sect Leader of the Mystic Sect stepped down as leader and went into Cultivation seclusion. Leading to the Mystic Sect electing a new Sect Leader, this in turn caused the Azure Clan to demand the right to be anointed as a successor to the Sect Leader Position.

But because they were denied the right to even be anointed as a successor, this caused the split to happen between the Mystic Sect and the Azure Clan, and even though the Azure Clan made up 40 percent of the Mystic Sect's power the Mystic Clan didn't want to give up an extra seat at the table for another successor.

Even though at that point the Azure Clan deserved a chance at getting a shot to get a successor seat to try their chance for the Sect Leader position in the Mystic Sect, and after all the sacrificing they did with their own blood and sweat, and tears.

They lost genius and prodigy in their Clan in the war. So after losing a ton of their members, and not succeeding in the Sect Leader position, and not getting a say they got fed up with the Mystic Sect's Elders and left the Mystic Sect and the Mystic Water Region within the Water Domain in the Profound Realm.

They packed their things and grabbed the resources they were given and left for another Domain in the Profound Realm. But from what Grandfather said everyone that was part of the Azure Bloodline left and started their own Sect and got their own Mortal planet as a part of the deal they had with the Mystic Sect Right?"

"Yes, that's correct but during those old times, an old monster from the White Tiger Clan, probably from the Main Bloodline. Came down to our Azure Planet from the Profound Realm and took all the Tigers with-in existence on our planet and all of the other planets within the Mortal Realm and brought them away to the Higher Realms. Leaving not a single Tiger left for anyone else. But from what I read about in those old scrolls and what it was insinuating about, it seems that the old proverb (When there are no great tigers on the top of the Mountain, even a monkey can become king) came true from those times as after this incident happened prior this event, that proverb never existed. But in turn, this proverb is what caused a war to break out, that the Mortal or the Profound Realm had ever seen before." - Ying

"Brother come on, you were probably not reading that old scroll properly!"

"Junior Brother Ying, It wasn't until 36 millennia ago, that Planet Azure had seen a tiger, but that was a gift for the Bai Clan as people from the Profound Realm brought a Tiger down with them to visit them. They had a couple of White Tigers with them when they descended to our Planet Azure.

But they brought a special one with them when they descended, but the one they had was a dying White Tiger. It had wings on its back, it was apparently on a floating Marble table when it came down. When they came, it caused a giant gate to appear in the sky then some stairs appeared.

It turned out, that they brought those Tigers to awaken and or strengthen the Bai Clan's main clan member's bloodline on our planet. This in which didn't just cause everyone back then to see what lied beyond the Bai Clan as a backer it showed that the Bai Clan didn't start here on Planet Azure but descended here from a higher Realm it also actually brought in a new age.

But right now the Bai Clan can only be called weak, and that is only because most of their older and the strongest members left for the other continents a while back. An from what I heard recently from my father, he said he saw one of those old Tigers from the Bai Clan still kicking.

But was seen somewhere within the continent that's controlled by the Yun Dynasty fighting members from the Wang Clan about 30 years ago." - Hu

"I still don't think that, if you had read something that ... Oh shit look !"

Brother Hu's Junior Brother Ying was looking at the fight now between Hou Duo and Bai Jian much closer now, instead of glancing at the fight once and a while like he was before.

He could see that Bai Jian was the one with the advantage, Hou Duo was at a disadvantage and he couldn't keep up with Bai Jian's speed. Every time he caught up or thought he reacted in time, Bai Jian would make a quick lateral movement or jump or slid to another position trying to gain more of an advantage against Hou Duo with his Shadow Void Steps.

"Junior Brother Ying. it looks like he's gonna finish his opponent off any moment now. I can't believe that little shrimp was actually a handful in this fight, if this fight lasts another five more minutes I gonna be surprised!"

At this point, both Bai Jian and the man Hou Duo that he was fighting with had both taken a little damage at this point after fighting for 15 minutes straight now.

And now for some reason, Bai Jian's simple and optimistic personality was starting to waver a little, and the thought that something had changed within him, was getting stronger and stronger as he was starting to get so angry that he started to feel rage and not anger, but rage for the first time since his reincarnation.

The more and more he fought with this man on the stage, the more he started to lose control. Little by little, he started to lose a little more of himself today, and he didn't know if it was his pride that took a hit or maybe it even had to do with the new technique's that he got from the Old Man within the painting the Bai Clan's Martial Arts Library.

Now the more and more the man in front of him insulted him or called him something he would get agitated. But every time he insinuated someone or something about his clan he lost more and more control as the fight went on.

"Hahaha, wow these little cats are so weak from the Bai Clan. Kid where are your Clans Elders at, come on tell me I don't want to keep fighting a little kid anymore!"

[ Lightning Sword ]

[ 1st Technique ] - "The Swipe Of Shinning Lightning"

An arc of lighting left Bai Jian's hand as he made a sharp and quick arching sweep with his left hand, then he followed it up with his other hand then threw a forward movement thrust with his whole right arm as the lighting Qi started to move more and more further off of his body to form a sword of Lighting Qi over his index and middle finger forming a 2-foot long sword of electricity and it had a with of 2 inches.

[ The Shoulder Of Fire ]

A flame of fire rose up from Hou Duo's body then gathered on his left shoulder as he charged towards Bai Jian.

Bang!

Bai Jian then performed the second stage of [ Shadow Void Steps ].

"Hahaha, come on you little midget, come over here again and entertain me some more... come on why don't you...!"

Swoosh!!!

Bai Jian, heard something creak then something cracked a little!

Something had hit the floor and made a small plop sound.

(Hmmm.. wait a second that felt a little different from earlier... But when I activate my Body, Cultivation, and my Soul Technique together, it feels great. For a split second my power amplified tremendously no ... it multiplied!"

At this point, Bai Jian was facing the complete opposite direction as the dude on the Fighting Ring Stage, but as soon as the kid's arm felt funny he looked down towards his arm and he started to panic a little. He started to feel fear like he has never felt before in his life.

The first thing he noticed, he saw his right arm start bleeding profusely then he noticed that he couldn't feel his hand then he saw it fall from his arm then he saw it, sitting on the ground. After that Hou Duo was now kneeling on the ground groaning in agonizing pain.

"Would you look at that, isn't that interesting Hou Duo! You can actually bleed, and you bleed just like I do but for some reason, you act like your invincible, but your not. Hmmm... you are just like me, that means if you bleed just like I bleed, then that means you can die just like I can. So wouldn't you agree that it is a little weird Hou Duo... Wouldn't you agree!"

At this point, an almost evil grin appeared on Bai Jian's face but because there was a mask on his face? No one could see his eyes. His eyes started to look a little thinner from him squinting his eyes.

'This wave of rage rushed right over him and then a wave of ecstasy rushed over him like a flood then he felt another wave rush over him but this time it was like a thousand tiny zaps of Electricity hit him all at once giving him this rise of euphoria as he was now in possession of a power he's never experienced before ran through him like water, it was easy as breathing for him.

He looked down towards his right hand as it currently felt warm, then he saw the blood on his hand. But for some reason, Bai Jian started to feel like he didn't make this decision on his own, it was more like his own body did it.

After a few seconds of staring at each other, another member of the Hou Clan member came up to the stage and was staring at Bai Jian as he walked towards Hou Duo. He had started to dress Hou Duo's injury in a cloth wrap and bandages.

As the young man, started to finish the wrap on Hou Duo's arm, Bai Jian picked up Hou Duo's weapon from the stage floor and started walking over to Hou Duo.

Both Hou Duo and the young man from his clan started to sweat a little. Bai Jian got a little closer then bent down a little, then pointed Hou Duo's weapon towards Duo's chin.

"Well Hou Duo, have you had enough? Or do you still want to meet my Clan's Elders!"

Bai Jian's mind might have honestly cracked a little, he was starting to feel like the chains binding his new cold heart to loosen a little, after hearing someone insult his family. His mind had a small mental break, then Bai Jian's started to let his killing intent loose a little as it started to escape from outside his body lightly.

"Later Kid!"

After Hou Duo heard Bai Jian talking and saw Bai Jian back, but after hearing him call him a kid. He started to wake up from his short gaze. When he looked up, all he could see was Bai Jian's Azure Blue eyes staring through right back at him.

Bai Jian's Killing intent was so great l, it wasn't the regular Deep red that almost everyone had, it was an icy dark navy blue color. It would send chills down anyone's neck and back that saw it. All Hou Duo saw was Bai Jian's eyes creeping through the mask back at him, all he saw today was a beast staring down at him, and not human, not a tough guy, not an Emperor, but a cold-hearted beast!

Hou Shangwu who was nearby was now sweating a little, as he couldn't understand how a kid in the Dantian Stage could have done that to a young man in the Ascendant Stage. The more he thought about it, the more it made less sense to him and he couldn't figure out how the kid in the white mask got to the man on the stage so fast that even he himself (Hou Shangwu) in the Spirit Formation couldn't see how he did it.

Then he came to a simple realization and got angry. He then activated his Cultivation technique, then started to circulate his Qi fully.

A silhouette of a 38 Foot tall Burning Fire Ape appeared behind Hou Shangwu.

"You little brat, how dare you to try to hurt someone that's apart of my Hou Clan, right in front of me!"

"Take this you little Maggot!"

Bai Jian dodges and performed a backflip to his left, as Hou Shangwu attacks him.

"Hahaha maggot, I'll show you. Old man watch this!"

As soon as Bai Jian said that he released more of his killing intent than a small amount of navy blue smoke mixed in with his Qi showed up on a thin layer on the edges of Bai Jian body then the young man on the stage could feel the terror rising up from his stomach.

"Cousin Hou Son, you need to get away from me. That kid is gonna attack me again, and I feel like Hou Shangwu for some reason won't be able to stop him."

"No Cousin Duo, come with me, so we can leave, that guys only in the Dantian Stage, so we will be fine."

"Hahaha wow you guys feel like running now, you little monkeys! Well, it seems like you forgot, that you are within the Tiger's Den now and you can't leave when a Tiger's gotten a taste of blood!"

The hairs stood up on the back of everyone's neck, then Bai Jian looked up as he saw Hou Shangwu's palm came down towards him.

"Hahaha, old man your too slow!"

Bai Jian then practically teleported next to the one-armed Hou Duo and the man next to him on the stage, then the man looked down again and saw Bai Jian in front of him, and this time Bai Jian raised his hand slowly raizing fingers into a two-fingered sword, there was now a Dark Navy Blue Qi mixed with his killing intent covering his right hand now instead of the Azure colored Qi he had before as he razed his right hand.

"In your next life be nicer to people and don't make fun of people, goodbye you stupid monkeys!"

"What... ... ... Nooo!!"

"Don't you dare touch them, you stupid cat!"

Swoosh!

Bai Jian chopped off Hou Duo and Hou Son's head so quick and decisive that Hou Shangwu, stopped momentarily for a couple of seconds out of utter disbelief that the Kid in the White Mask actually did it without any hesitation in front of him.

Everyone still up and awake that didn't faint was scared straight from how brazen Bai Jian was, especially how Bai Jian had just killed the two young men on the stage without hesitation.

Everyone was just in complete disbelief at what they just saw!
