"I shouldn't sleep because I don't trust him at all," he mumbled, but his eyelids were growing heavier. "I know he will read my mind, even though it is completely blank."
He was resisting, but his body couldn't wait to fall.
"Should I wake Killian?"
He looked at the couch, but it seemed too far away. He was tired.
"Fuck it!"
He yawned and stretched his body as far as he could.
"Aaahnn!"
He paused briefly, and then a flash of inspiration struck him.
"If I sing an upbeat song, maybe I can stay awake."
He held a pot in his hand and tapped it like a drum, bringing the melody that floated in his mind to his lips.
"Sing this song,
Let an awakening arise.
Come, walk beside me,
Let's stir the robots to life."
Frustrated, he clenched his teeth.
"Oh, this is ridiculous. What idiot composed this?"
And he yawned again. "Hoooaaah!"
