Natalia Díaz, a Junior student at Orange Beach University, doesn't waste time getting involved in romantic affairs. This assignment has forced them to spend time together, and at the beginning, it seems almost impossible for them to get along, since they couldn't be more different... but sometimes different is good. Who knows, maybe different is what they have been looking for all along. The story is written from both of the main characters' perspectives (Natalia's and Alexander's).

I wake up with little Alidan's legs on my chest, and his arm across my face. He looks so peaceful while he sleeps. I wonder what he is dreaming about. I sit slowly on the comfortable bed, and check the time. It is 9:13 am. My mom is already showering.

I try to avoid waking up my little man, since he went to bed way past his bedtime last night. I stand up quietly and head to the kitchen for some water. While grabbing a bottle of water, I notice the orchids on the table. I try to ignore them, but I can't... So I take them and walk to the trash can, opening the trash can's lid. But why can't I bring myself to throw them away? Ugh! I grunt, closing the lid and putting the flowers back in the tall glass.
