Max nodded, looking at them all to be sure none of them were with any weapon that would stab a d blow his head off. Because he was getting this dangerous chill from all of them that he could not push away.

Max was going to meet the others at the post to pass across some information from Raymond. That was he saw someone... Or something. It passed him so quickly his eyes could not grab what it was.

Then, strange sounds followed. He followed it wondering if an animal had strayed into the premises.

Again, something passed fast behind. He jolted around, asking:

"Who is there?"

Of course, no reply. 

"Show yourself!"

He had already wondered off where his mates were not.

Suddenly, he felt someone creeping up from behind him.

Max looked up at Demona, jittering whether he should use such description or not.
