"You think I'm a rebelling slave?" I laughed at her insinuation.
The crystal on my forehead made itself known then as I unleashed the full power of my aura. It slammed into the people in this room like a wave. Many of them folded to the ground the instant it hit them.
"I'm no slave," I smirked at her, "I'm much much worse. If you can't understand that, and obey like a good little girl then I have no use for you."
She was the only one that stayed standing when my aura slammed into her. That spoke volumes of the difference in power between a common low elf, and a noble low elf. Sekka entered the room then. My aura wasn't directed at him so he was able to stand its pressure with relative ease.
"Why don't you use the slave collars to subdue these captured elves?" Sekka asked.
"My thoughts exactly," I shrugged, "You wouldn't happen to know where to find those slave collars."
"It's not all that difficult to sense the mana in a slave collar," Sekka nodded, "I could find them fairly quickly if you would like me to."
"How badly were the others wounded?" I glanced back at Sekka as I reigned my aura back in.
"An arrow to the leg, and a few other minor injuries," Sekka answered automatically.
"I need to handle the escapees," I tossed a small bag full of spatial items at Sekka, "I'll take care of the leg once I'm done with them. You can look for the slave collars if you want. I think it would be a fitting punishment for these assholes."
I sat down on the ground with my legs crossed. My awareness of the area under my control expanded until I could clearly sense all of the fleeing men. I slowly closed my eyes to dedicate all my focus to the area under my control. While I was doing this storm clouds started to form above the entire compound. Thunder boomed so loud it shook the windows.
Lightning sprung from the clouds. Zig zagging through the air the way lightning did, and striking down the one that had made it the furthest. Another two lightning strikes went after two of the others. Now there was only one left. One more strike was all it took.
My eyes flicked open, and I jumped to my feet.
"One less problem to deal with," I cracked my neck to ease tension.
A quick tap of the gem on my forehead, and it vanished beneath the skin once again. My shirt was a nice button up one, and my shoes were simple leather shoes or at least that was what they looked like. They were made from my mana, and they could look any way I wanted. I preferred simple clothing. Simple clothing was easy to alter, and hardly anyone would notice if it was altered.
"That takes care of one thing," I looked at the madam, "You do understand English don't you?"
I smirked at her.
"That doesn't make much of a difference to me, but it must be horrifying to know that I could kill them so easily," I dropped the smirk, "Behave or I will kill you just as quickly as I did them."
I walked over to the window, and opened it casually. Stepping up onto the frame before I jumped out of the window. I landed in the courtyard lightly. Barely making a sound before moving over to the guy that had an arrow in his leg.
"This is going to hurt," I gripped the arrowhead.
He looked at me nervously for a brief moment before I snapped the arrowhead off, and yanked the shaft from his leg. He cried out in pain before I slapped my hands over the wound tightly, and allowed my light mana to flow into the wound. My healing ability hadn't improved all that much while I was training with Letty, but it didn't take much light mana to stimulate healing. I could feel the bleeding slow, and stop beneath my hands as the wound sealed itself shut. It wouldn't be a perfect heal, but it would be a lot less painful, and risky than leaving the wound open.
"That should do it for now," I released his leg, "I'm not an expert so you should get it checked out properly later, but you should be able to use the limb in the meantime."
Now the only obvious evidence of his wound was a small scar left on his leg, and the blood on his pants.
"I got these for you," Ethan tossed me a bag full of spatial storage items, "What about healing the others?"
"They can tend to their own wounds," I shrugged off the dirty looks that a few of them gave me, "I have enough to do with this barrier I'm maintaining around the whole compound."
I didn't need to say the second part but it was kind of hard to resist with them wanting more assistance then I was willing to give. Never mind the fact that I'd just done all the work securing this whole compound in the first place.
"Help Sekka find the slave collars," I directed my eyes to Ethan, "We can use them to control the remaining elves."
"What will we do with them when we're done here?" Ethan asked.
"We'll release them," I answered honestly, "We're not here to start a war or kill innocent staff or children."
A few of the people around us looked at me funny when I said that. Their expressions seemed to scream, but we're already at war with them. What they didn't know was that the elves hadn't actively tried to cause harm to the people on earth yet. We wouldn't be anywhere near as good of shape as we were now if they had been actively attacking us. It was surprising that they were even spying us.
If they were truthfully at war with us then they would have been attacking us on a regular basis, and so far the worst they had done was the original attack. Spying on us, and attacking me wasn't even that bad in the grand scheme of things.
