Fooling the heroes (1)

The same day...

In the league's statelite which is mostly same as the justice league's watch tower but the difference is its blue color and and a dome on the top of the satellite.

Inside the satelite there are many heroes in front of monitors and also some of them roaming around. The primary ones are in the interrogation room with Vigilante in the middle. Vigilante was strapped like a prisoner as his entire body upto his knees is wrapped up with only his hand and legs visible.

The league was both angry and had an uneasy expression in their face. They encountered villains and anti heroes who had a flair for dramatic which helped them stop the guys but the guy in front of them slaughtered the villains instead of making it a spectacle. On top of that he was the one responsible for the evidence to come out which affected the entire country.

Even when surrounded by powerful and intelligent heroes the guy was not afraid or play games lik those villains do or play with the minds of the heroes.

"Who are you?" questioned Crowman from his mask.

Vigiante with his smirk said "I am Vigilante. As you already know I am not from this earth. I come from a parallel earth called Earth-22. Due to a terrorist attack from a terror group called Black Hole me and my girlfriend were sucked into a dimensional hole which brought me and her to this universe.

After coming to this world I received a divine message from a powerful being you guys can't even fathom to clean this earth of mess. As soon as I received it I collected all the dirt of the system and posted it. The villains captured me and I they paid the price for that and after that you know what happened."

The league members looked at each other. "That explains it." said Crow Man.

"What are you taalking about?" asked Speed.

"Few weeks ago, the league tower picked up dimensional distortion, but it was so subtle that it occured for only just few seconds before completely disappearing." said Crow Man.

"So, you're causing this chaos on the pretense of the cleaning this mess because a divine being ordered you to. You expect me to believe that?" asked Hyper Man with his usual farm boy dialogues.

"Mark Brunt aka Hyper Man, typical farm boy who donned the cape not knowing the horrors of the world and preaches about hope. But when it comes to low level areas or slums, he doesn't even care about it. Isn't that right?" mocked Vigilante with a crooked smile.

Hyper Man's eyes widened as his identity was revealed to someone like Vigilante.

Vigilante looked at Miracle Woman "Princess Lianne of Thermyscira."

"Speed aka Perry Allen"

"Mercury Manhunter aka Leon Jonz"

"Cybernetic aka Thomas Stone"

"Maroon Lantern aka Van Morgan"

When Vigilante revealed their identities as if it is normal, man of the guys gritted their teeth. Especially Crow Man aka "Reece Dwayne".

Vigilante had mockery and amusement in his face because unlike the villains, heroes are pretty easy to play with.

"What would happen if you're true identities were to be revealed to this world?" asked Vishal.

There was a minute of silence when Hyper Man said "You should worry about yourself. Killing people ruthlessly without mercy. Do you even know what you have done?" asked Hyper Man.

"The same old tactic. You don't answer the question which I pose to you but to make sure that I am the one in the wrong you choose not to answer it and divert it so that the suspect in question forgets about it." replied Vigilante.

Hyper Man was keeping himself stoic outside but the answer was something he never expected because he and Crow Man has tried this against Rebels many times and succeeded but never expected the guy to see through it.

"You're thinking "How did I find it out?" asked Vigilante.

Though they did not reply, they were curious.

"There are two morons like you and this crow in my own world." replied Vishal.

"Watch your mouth." said Maroon Lantern after hearing those words.

"Sector-989." replied Vishal.

Van was taken aback by the mention of that sector. It is the single biggest black mark of Maroon Lanterns and the "Protectors"

"How do you know that? That was supposed to be confidential." said Van stuttering.

"You can't even fathom the powers I have. If I wanted I could kill all those protectors just by sitting here but sometimes things need to be fun, right?" said Vishal.

Mercury Manhunter who had a clear white body and blue eyes. His blue eyes flickered indicating him entering Vishal's mind.

As he entered, he saw a gigantic wall and in front of it there is a dragon and tiger guarding it. Even then he tried to sneak in when the psyonic barrier threw him away causing a mental shock to the guy causing him to faint.

"Leon." shouted Speed as he attended to along with cybernetic.

"What did you do?" asked Miracle Woman.

"Nothing. He tried to sneak into my mind but it's protection is top notch." replied Vishal with a grin.

Carrying Leon both Cybernetic and Speed made way to infirmary while the others left behind.

"What do you want, exactly?" asked Crow Man.

"That's the right question, Dwayne. I am gonna clean this earth  by spilling blood of the corrupt, criminals and the villains. That's the only way the things will change." said Vigilante.

"You're delusional and psychotic." said Dwayne.

"Think whatever you like because I know how hypocritic you heroes behave. You're not the solution to stop crime but in fact they have increased crime." said Vishal.

"What do you know? You're not even from this world. Besides if you kill a criminals, the number of criminals will be the same" said Crow Man uttering the self righteous bullshit.

"But if you mass murder the villains in one go, it will be hard to replace such psychos in short time and within that time you can change the entire system so it works properly." replied Vishal without hesitation.

The words not only brought a shiver down their spines but also paralyzed them to their spots because the person they were interrogating said it as if it is normal.

"It is a bad example and if others were to follow this path, there will be a lot of destruction. It perfectly justifies the embodiment of a villain." said Hyper Man.

Vishal tilted his head and said "Cut off the rot to save the entire body. The people of the world constitute and entire body. The villains are the rot and cancer which affect the body, if it were to spread to other parts then the entire world will be destroyed.

You heroes are just temporary medicine keeping the rot at bay. One day the rot gets immune to the temporary medicine and spreads to other parts and it will definitely lead to amputation of  many parts. That means many innocent people die due to the adverse affects of the villains."

"That might be an easy way but it is not the right way." said Crow Man.

"Yes, we're heroes who are supposed to be symbols of hope and Justice. If we go down that path, then there is only a grim future for all of us." said Hyper Man.

Pfff Hahahaha.

Vishal broke out into laughter after hearing those cliche dialogues. "Man, these hero types sure do bring such naive and stupid idealistic dialogues which are not suitable for reality." thought Vishal as he laughed.

"What's so funny?" asked Lianne.

Vishal looked at her with smile and asked"How many lives did you and your gods take?"

Lianne raised an eyebrow and showed a hint of anger. Vishal nodded and looked at Crow Man "Why didn't you go arrest those Gods, Crow Man?"

Crow Man went silent and Vishal looked at Hyper Man. "Do you have answer for that or are you just going to keep silent?" asked Vishal.

The leaguers looked at one another uncomfortably. "Yeah, thought so. It's convenient for you guys to spout such non sense into other meta humans or normal humans but when I ask something genuine, you have tails under your asses and go silent. There is your wonderful hypocrisy heroes." said Vishal with a smile which irritated them.

It's getting hard to interrogate the guy in front of them as the truth he throws them in their faces is not only hurting but putting holes in what they believe in. The Crow Man still decided to continue even if it hurts his beliefs.
