Beginning Of Jealousy?

Serin may feel weak in alone, but she isn't weak. She might get confused in many things about what to do and how to handle them, but her decisions are always right. She is brave, she is wise.

Set in stopped and stood on her place, she didn't move then. Damen was confused by why isn't she moving or getting scared anymore. While he was busy in thinking and finding out another way to scare her, Serin wisely took away the jar from his hands.

She ran towards the window and threw it out. Fun fact was, the jar disappeared in the air, it was just a trap to make her eat food. Serin understood that it was a magic to fool her and she became one. Damen began chuckling on Serin, this made serin mad.

Serin quickly turned around and walked towards Damen. And without wasting another moment, her hands were against his cheeks. She slapped him.

"This is for what you did earlier, saying that it was a mistake", she clenched her jaw and spoke up. "To misbehave with you, you might give punishment to normal people. But for misbehaving with a girl, a prince should also be punished, Mr prince Damen".

Damen didn't go against her this time. Because she was right. She was right that whether it's a prince or any normal people if misbehaved with a girl, they should be punished. And so he got what he did.

Serin took the tray and kept it on the coffee table. She sat on the couch and began eating her lunch. Of course, she was hungry. She didn't eat anything properly since the arrow incident near the cave. She ate everything in the tray full and went in the washroom to clean her hands.

Damen was quiet. He was standing beside the window whole time until she ate everything full. His attention was out of the window, looking towards the open field. The field where Artemis trained everyone 200 years ago. He was missing practising there with everyone, and ao he decided today to take everyone with him on the field.

When Serin came out of the washroom, Damen was standing with a dress in his hands. "Dress you are wearing is beautiful, but you can not always wear such clothes and walk in the castle", he explained. "Wear this normal dress and come downstairs, we are going on the field to practice with everyone".

"Why should I come to practice with you all?", Serin interrogated.

"Because everyone in the castle will be on the field, and we don't have anyone to protect you or take your care here", he said calmly. "Being a prince, I have your responsibility. Go to change the dress and come with me"

Damen kept the dress on the bed and walk out of her room. He was not sure whether she will come or not. He crossed his hands and wished she will come. Damen wanted to teach her self defence so that at least she can protect herself from bad men around her.

Serin thought for minutes and finally let out a sigh before going in the washroom to change the clothes. Her mind didn't want to go, but the heart wanted to. She changed herself into the white dress with a grey silk robe on it. She was looking like one of the witches. She tied her open hairs into a ponytail and then walked downstairs in the great hall where everyone was waiting for her.

Someone in the hall was very happy to see her. Damen admired her beauty, she was looking more pretty in formal dress to him. The prince was losing his heart towards her but Serin wasn't. And even if Damen's heart was getting attracted towards Serin, his mind didn't want to accept the fact. It was kinda impossible for Damen to be attracted to any girl.

Serin ran towards his cavin and hugged him tightly. She missed his first friend in Artemis badly. Cavin holds her hands and walked with her out of the castle towards the field. Damen kept glaring at his small brother getting close to a human girl. "Please brother, I'm getting bored to read your mind. Think something exciting", Asterin joined walking beside Damen.

"Sorry, but why are you always interested in reading other's mind, princess?", the grey wolf walking beside Damen asked.

"Are you jealous that except you I read everyone's brain, Mr Chen?", Asterin smirked at him before walking away from them. It's not that Asterin doesn't read his mind, Chen doesn't want her to read his mind. Asterin cant read someone's brain when they're not in their human form.

"What a stupid girl she is? I mean I don't want her to read my mind. Then why is she feeling proud and talking lie?", Chen mumbled. "No matter what, somewhere you both are the same, Prince"

"Give her respect too, she is your princess too", Damen let out with a glare towards Chen.

"Princess?", Chen chuckled. "She is not my princess. She's only a normal girl to me, Prince. Only you are my prince and I'm born to only follow your orders and respect you. Not others except goddess Artemis", he growled.

Like Damen, Chen has been living with him for 200 years. He is the right hand of Damen and also one of the researchers in the pack. He has invented many things in the pack for their daily needs. He and his group have a different floor in the castle where they work. They even design arms and weapons for hunting and wars.

Other than that, Chen plays another important role in the pack. He is even the coach for training the new candidates of the pack. He guides them, teach them about how to use weapons practically on the battlefield and gives them tips for better understanding. He doesn't need to work hard, as students already learn half in high school.

"Is everyone ready?", Damen asks everyone in a loud and clear voice.

"Yes, Prince", they all shout back in reply.

They all begin with remembering Artemis and then start warm-up. Serin was unfamiliar with everything. As Damen said, she is here only because there was no one to protect her alone in Castle. Serin makes herself away from the crowd and walk towards the edge of the cliff.

She sits there under the tree, in a cool shadow. She was sitting alone, and get herself lost in her imagination. Watching towards the clouds and birds flying up in the open sky she wished to be like one, to have wings. She wanted to be free, free from every problem and every difficulty and fly high in the sky.

Serin was missing her family, she was thinking about them. Whether they have eaten their food or still finding her, she was worried about them. Tears were filled in her eyes, they were ready to fall through her cheeks but the familiar voice made her wipe them.

"Arent you joining us, Serin?", Asterin invited. She was standing behind Serin which made her difficult to see Serin's face. She walked and sat beside her, Serin didn't move or look at her a little. She was staring towards the sky, trying her best to ignore Asterin and not let her read the mind.

"What's wrong?", Asterin mumbled while nudging her. But serin didn't react. Instead, she stood up and walk away from her. Asterin sat there blinking her eyes in confusion, she was not able to read what she was thinking and became more confused with Serin's behaviour.

Asterin remembered herself sending her brother in Serin's room in the morning. She guessed that Damen might have done something which made her mad. She storms towards him and pulled him aside from the crowd.

"What's wrong with you?", Damen yelled. "Can't you see I was about to hit the arrow?"

"Shut your mouth!", Asterin yelled back. "What you did to Serin? Why isn't she talking to me?"

Damen thought she will not follow the rules anymore, but he was wrong. Serin was fed up with everything, she doesn't want any other reason to be blamed so she thought about being quiet and ignoring everyone. Even when she hugged Cavin, she didn't converse with him. He was Cavin who spoke all the way, and Serin quietly walked with him.

"I don't know what is with her", Damen explained. "It's better if a princess gives all her attention to the practice and not on what others do in their private life". Damen ignored Serin and walk towards everyone practising archery.

Watching Serin sitting alone, made both Mr and Mrs Forster's worry. Kane sends Sofia towards her to bring her back and make her practice with them. "She will listen to you, go and bring her", he whispers carefully to not let anyone hear them.

" What if she does the same with me as she did with the princess?", Sofia asks nervously. "She won't, just go", Kane push ger forward and then she walks towards Serin.

"Did you like the sky of Artemis? How is it in your world", Sofia asks calmy while seating beside Serin.

Serin nervously looks up at Sofia and her actions and then again look towards the sky. The sky was changing its colour, soon it was going to be evening and a beautiful sunset. Serin ignored Sofia and buried her head down between her knees.

"Serin? I know its all difficult, everything is different here and you are worried about your family and home. isn't it?", Sofia asked while stroking Serin's hairs back.

"You are strong enough to face it all, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. Overthinking will destroy your happiness and your mood. It makes everything worse than it is. Take a deep breathe, exhale, and have faith. What's meant to be, will be", Sofia explained her calmly. Her words made Serin take her head up and look at Sofia.

"Stay with people who bring out the best in you, not stress in you. Spend time with me, with Cavin, with everyone whom you feel comfortable. Remember that you are here for some reason, might be to bring something best out of you. Work for it and go back to your work as soon you wish", she added and winked towards Serin in the end.

Serin blinked for few times, she was understanding every word Sofia spoke. Whatever she explained made Serin realise that she has to stop waiting to go back. She needs to work for going back. She understood the reason for coming there was related to Artemis. And finding her is the first step to go back, as she knows everything about here.

Serin slightly nodded with a smile on her pale face and stood up. "No matter what it takes to find you Artemis, I'll try my best to find you and make myself go back to my world", Serin think in her mind and go back to the field. Sofia was relieved to see Serin little active than before, she followed her back and continued the practice.

Serin looks at everyone in the maze. They were practising to cast spells, sword fighting, archery and self-defence. Serin wished to learn all in excitement. Her gaze gets stuck at the prince with a girl, he was teasing her and making her run behind him. The girl was none other than Asterin. Serin does not know yet who she is, she doesn't know Asterin is his little sister and the Princess of the Moon.

A slight feeling of jealousy touched Serin's heart while looking at both of them laughing, fighting and running behind each other. She herself doesn't know why was she feeling that but her heart was slightly aching.

"What's wrong with you Serin? You have to find Artemis and to find her you have to work on it. So why are you thinking about that prince? He's probably a playboy, don't think he talks to you means he is interested in you", Serin thinks in her mind. "Oh Jesus, help me what am I thinking? Why would I care for that pervert if he is interested in me or not? Serin just shut up and ignore them"

Serin shook her head and walked towards the table where swords were kept. There was one sword different than others which attracted Serin towards it. It was shining slight purple but was same as Damen's sword in structure. It has ruby stuck on it and it was looking glorious. It looked magical.
