With their supplies replenished, Ethan and the group continued their journey towards Arcadia, making their way through Median Mountain. The treacherous passageway proved to be a challenge as they encountered various monstrous creatures, each with their own unique abilities. Despite the fierce battles, their combined combat skills allowed them to overcome these otherworldly beasts and navigate the valley cautiously.

In the heart of the valley, a remarkable sight unfolded before them—a colossal scorpion-like monster engaged in a fierce battle with a young man dressed in black. The creature dwarfed them, standing nearly three times their size. However, in a moment of distraction, the monster landed a devastating blow on the young man, sending him crashing into a nearby tree.

Jane exclaimed urgently, "We have to save him! He's in danger!"

Jessica, bewildered by the creature's appearance, voiced her confusion. "What in the world is that thing?"

Ethan, analyzing the situation, responded, "It doesn't resemble anything from our world. I suppose it's another one of these monsters."

Jessica nodded resolutely. "Alright, let's go!"

The group rallied together and launched a coordinated attack against the monstrous adversary. Ethan engaged in close combat, wielding his laser sword with precision, while Jane and Jessica provided ranged support from a distance. It was a grueling battle, but Ethan tapped into his magical abilities, channeling dark energy into his laser sword, and unleashed a barrage of high-damage slashes, ultimately bringing the monster down.

With the creature defeated, they rushed to the injured young man lying beneath the tree. As they approached, they couldn't help but notice his strikingly handsome face, exuding a charismatic playboy charm capable of capturing hearts.

Jane exclaimed with concern, "He's injured!"

Jane proceeded to use her healing skills, emanating a gentle blue light that enveloped the young man, mending his wounds.

Jessica, surprised by Jane's abilities, questioned her, "Jane, have you undergone the DNA plug-in surgery in Jackson City?"

Jane appeared puzzled. "Surgery? No, I haven't..."

Jessica pressed further, "But your healing skill, it's remarkable."

Jane chuckled, her memory tracing back. "Oh, this healing skill? I've known it since I was little. I'm not sure where I acquired it from. Haha, I guess you could say I'm Arcadia's famous doctor."

Jessica turned her attention to Ethan. "And what about you, Ethan? How were you able to cast such powerful magic earlier?"

Jane interjected with a smile, "Both of us have had unique powers since we were young. Haha."

The young man regained consciousness, his gratitude apparent. "Who are you?"

Jane answered, "You were injured by that monster. Are you okay now?"

The young man replied, "Yes, I'm feeling much better. Thank you for your help. My name is Xavier."

Jessica's eyes widened. "Xavier? I've heard your name in Jackson City. The handsome guy who's always surrounded by a flock of admirers. This is Jane, the lady who healed you." She pointed towards Jane.

Xavier expressed his gratitude, "Thank you. If it weren't for your help, I might have become the monster's meal."

Jane modestly replied, "You're welcome."

Xavier, curious, asked, "And what should I call all of you?"

Jane introduced the group, "I'm Jane, this is Jessica, and this is Ethan."

Jessica couldn't help but comment, "This isn't a safe place for a conversation. Xavier, do you have a destination in mind?"

Xavier replied, "I've been traveling around. I heard strange screams coming from Median Mountain yesterday and decided to investigate. That's when I encountered these monsters. Where are you guys headed?"

Jane answered, "Arcadia."

Xavier remarked, "Ah, Arcadia is a beautiful place. I've been there before."

Jessica suggested, "Ethan, shall we travel together with Xavier to Arcadia?"

Ethan agreed, "Fine by me."

Xavier smiled and remarked, "You have a cool guy with you."

Jessica replied jokingly, "Well, if you get on his nerves, he can be scarier than those monsters."

Xavier chuckled, "Hahaha, I can sense that."

Taking a moment to observe Ethan's appearance, Xavier made a guess, "This appearance... You must be someone from Jackson City, perhaps working as an assassin or agent?"

Ethan remained silent.

Xavier laughed, "Hahaha, if I'm mistaken, I apologize for the assumption."

After some friendly banter and introductions, the group made the decision to travel together towards Arcadia, their common destination.
