Sarell sent off the letter to King Rinon as soon as it was acceptable to because he knew that if he stalled, he would never do it.

A response came rather speedily and to his surprise King Rinon was rather agreeable with his suggestion, and instead of being carted away to the dungeons, he was encouraged to send more letters to inform the King of Prince Reqiel's progress.

Although Sarell was pleased that Reqiel wouldn't have to go to the King's Castle in the near future, he wasn't pleased about having to give a report, especially without Reqiel's knowledge. He made sure to keep the reports as concise as possible, only sticking to the essentials and sometimes the entirety of the letter didn't surpass a single line.

Another month passed like this, his reports to King Rinon getting infrequent, not out of disobedience but rather because there was simply nothing to report - nothing he wanted to report.
