6. Helpless Father!
Athena was sitting on the rock thinking of their problems, when she felt a familiar spirit around her!
Athena looked around and smiled as she knew who it was. Lupus couldn't connect his spirit to Athena's body, but he was able to connect to her mind with Raksha.
'Dad...' Raksha said to herself as a tear escaped from her eyes.
'I know you are trying to connect to me... But... I know, you couldn't...'
Raksha said to herself and Lupus' spirit sighed as he sat beside her and saw tears in her eyes.
He couldn't do anything to make his daughter stop crying. He helplessly just sat there and saw her crying...
Lupus knew that Raksha knew what was going to happen next with them...
It was not that she was recognising the things clearly that were going to happen, with her power, but as a wolf's blood was running in her body, she knew that if a wolf passed away then his/her partner couldn't live on this world for much time…!
And Raksha and Lupus acknowledged very well that Zelda already knew that she would not survive longer and she would pass away sooner or later…!
Even though her body seemed weak, she was just keeping up with her energy, just because of her kids. She was fighting within herself!
'I can't do anything to save mom... I am sorry, Dad...' Raksha said to herself as tears started falling down from her eyes…!
Lupus could hear her clearly... As she was his daughter and as she shared his blood, he could clearly hear her voice.
'Love... You don't have to feel bad... You don't have to say sorry either... You did nothing wrong…
Unfortunately, this has to happen anyhow...
So, you and Rachel would come out soon, as I imagined!'
Lupus spoke in his mind, making Raksha hear him and she nodded her head, sobbing heavily.
'I know... But I couldn't help you out either... I am just a bad daughter...'
Raksha said as she cried her heart out.
'Raksha...' Raksha heard Lupus' voice sternly in her mind, making her stop crying suddenly.
'Listen to me carefully... You are not a bad daughter... You really don't have any idea what you did last night... !!
You manipulated the Rogue's…! Even when you don't have any idea how to use the manipulative power, you still tried it and succeeded... If you wouldn't have tried to use that power, then I don't know what might have happened...' Raksha heard Lupus saying.
'You saved your mother and sister... And I know, You will keep saving your mother and sister... Until Your mom...'
Raksha cut off Lupus in mid sentence.
'Nothing will happen to her, Dad...' Raksha said.
'Hope so... But... Remember to take away Rachel from here if anything happens to her... Are you getting it?'
Lupus asked and Raksha nodded her head in yes and just then, she heard Lupus yelling loudly...
'DAD…!!!' Raksha screamed.
'Dear, I might not be able to... Connect to you again... Take care of yourself... And others... But remember... I will always be around you... Ahhhhhhhhh..!!!!.'
Lupus screamed again and the voice faded away slowly!
'Dad... What happened to you?' Raksha yelled anxiously, but before she could ask anything more... She felt her surroundings calm and she couldn't hear any voice!
Athena looked around and didn't feel any spirit around her!
'I will Find out who is behind our problems, and will make them go through hell... I promise you, Dad…!I will never leave anyone who broke our family so badly…!'
Raksha promised herself as Athena took a deep breath and nodded her head.
Athena washed her face and grabbed the fishes and walked back to the tree house as soon as possible.
"You are home... What have you bought for us?" Rachel asked as she saw Athena walking inside the house with fishes in her hands.
"Umm... Where did you find these?" Zelda asked as she took the fishes from her hands.
'I have found the lake...' Athena signaled with her hands, making Zelda nod her head.
"Ohh... We have a lake here?" Rachel asked and Athena nodded her head in yes.
"Mom... Can we go there?" Rachel asked as Zelda started cooking for them.
"No, Rachel... It's dangerous for us outside!" Zelda answered.
"But Mom..."
Zelda cut off Rachel in mid Sentence.
"I said no... Can't you understand?"
Zelda shouted, but suddenly, she was about to fall down on the floor because her dizziness covered her eyes, but Rachel grabbed her by her tiny arms and yelled, making Athena look at them.
"Athena... Look at mom…!!" Rachel yelled and Athena ran towards them with a worried face.
The two kids slowly made Zelda sleep on the floor as tears started falling down from Rachel's eyes seeing her mother falling down suddenly.
"Athena, what happened to Mom so suddenly?" Rachel asked with tears as Athena took Zelda's head in her lap.
'Don't worry... Can you bring some water?' Athena asked, signalling to Rachel and she nodded her head.
She got up and ran to bring the water. While Rachel walked away from them, Athena kept her hands on Zelda's forehead and closed her eyes.
Suddenly, Athena's body became cold as she passed her energy to Zelda.
Athena made herself straight so that she didn't fall down... !
Just then, Rachel got back with the glass of water and gave it to Athena.
Athena and Rachel slowly picked up Zelda and slowly made her drink the glass of water.
"She will be alright, right?" Rachel asked with a sad face to Athena and she nodded her head at Rachel.
After a few minutes, Zelda slowly opened her eyes and looked at her worried daughter's faces.
"Ahhhh... My head hurts…!!" Zelda shrieked as she held her head as she sat down.
"Mom..." Rachel said and hugged Zelda tightly.
"Are you alright?" Rachel asked.
"I am... Don't worry..." Zelda answered and kissed Rachel's forehead. She took Athena closer to her and kissed her forehead too.
She hugged her both daughters tightly closer to her heart as tears started falling down from her eyes, as she realised that she didn't have much time to live on that earth…!!!
