[Nayla's POV]

As the future alpha of my pack, I have to meet with other leaders to strengthen the mutual interests of our packs. My father has prepared me rigorously for this day, and although I almost deserted my role when I decided to leave for Canopus, I was restored fully of the same honor when I returned. Meeting the stronger packs in person will also help me cooperate with them more effectively in the future.

I allowed myself to slip into the role and started approaching them, spontaneously earning the respect of each pack's alpha one by one. Even those who knew me as Gwyneth, surprised as they are, congratulated me and expressed their appreciation and willingness to connect. My father was also present, but he had this way of letting me handle things on my own, for which I had always been grateful.
